Fithi G.We had an incredible stay in Dujiangyan high up in the jungle mountains. The view was absolutely breathtaking — honestly, pictures do not do it justice at all.
Seeing it in real life was unforgettable and made the whole experience feel magical.
The room was huge, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. Everything felt peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for escaping the busy city life for a while.
The hotel staff were extremely kind and welcoming throughout our entire stay. A special thank you for always helping us with transportation. Since it can sometimes be a little difficult to get a taxi in the area, they even drove us down personally whenever needed. She drove so well, it was actually really fun, and she was incredibly sweet and helpful. We truly felt comfortable, safe, and cared for the entire time.
There are also many beautiful places and spots nearby that are easy to reach and perfect for exploring.
This hotel was honestly outstanding in every way, and we can highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace, nature, and a relaxing atmosphere before returning to city life.
Thank you so much to all the employees for making our stay so special.
We would come back anytime!

Guest UserI chose this hotel for a business trip. Its location in town is excellent, with everything conveniently nearby. The hotel's own cafe is beautiful, with a lush green courtyard. They even gave us complimentary drink vouchers at check-in, which was a lovely touch! The pool is huge and very refreshing in summer. The room was also very spacious, clean, and the bedding was comfortable. Plus, you can see Mount Qingcheng in the distance, which was a pleasant surprise! I'm very satisfied and will definitely bring my family back here for a vacation to Mount Qingcheng next time.

BinghuiI booked a 3 night stay at this homestay. Its location is slightly above Tai An Ancient Town, 1km away. Service from the butlers were fantastic as I was added into a group chat with all the butlers and all were very responsive to my needs and queries. I appreciate very much their car shuttle service which allows me to book as and when I like to go to the Tai A town or the hiking starting point. Every morning I woke up hearing the birds chirping. As this is a homestay, there is no sound proofing. But ear plugs are provided in the room. Free daily breakfast was yummy, especially the wanton noodle soup. Drinking complimentary afternoon tea with snacks in my balcony was lovely. The unblocked view of the mountains and low lying clouds are therapeutic. The personal onsen in my room was the best, soaking in hot water with an unblocked mountain scenery was extremely chilling. I ordered herbal chicken soup for dinner, it came with 2 servings of vegetables and free rice. The food quantity was very filling for 2 of us. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to detox in the mountain countryside. Even though price was a little steep but it’s every money worth.

Guest UserThis B&B is halfway up the mountain, a few kilometers past the Qingcheng Back Mountain Scenic Area entrance. It was a winding, dizzying drive up. The environment is beautiful, nestled by the mountains and water, with birds chirping and insects buzzing. The facilities are also good, everything you'd expect from a B&B. Breakfast is simple but filling, and the aunt who served us was very friendly. The only inconvenience is transportation. It's fine if you're driving, but if you take a taxi in from out of town, getting a ride to the attractions afterwards is a hit-or-miss affair. On busy weekends, you can wait a long time. The B&B can arrange private cars for 15 yuan per person, but a taxi is actually just the minimum fare. Given the B&B's location, the number of visitors in the scenic area, and the narrow mountain roads, it seems like an unsolvable problem. Later, the young lady at the front desk gave me two bowls of instant noodles as a consolation prize 😂

As a solo traveler visiting Dujiangyan for the first time without any knowledge of Chinese, I found that the Atour Hotel provided excellent service. The staff were very helpful, and we were able to communicate easily using translation apps. My room was huge, offering a beautiful view of the city at night, and it was cleaned, tidied, and restocked with amenities every day. The breakfast featured both Western and Chinese options, though it was predominantly Chinese; since I do not usually eat much early in the morning, I opted for bread and fruit. The hotel is located at the rear of the mall, and while taxis will drop you exactly at the side of the building, you should look carefully for the hotel sign as there are others right next to it. Although I chose to use taxis to save time rather than looking up the nearest bus or subway stations, the hotel’s central location suggests that public transport is likely nearby. Dujiangyan irrigation scenic area is just 5-7 mins and Mt. Qingcheng scenic area gate is about 25 mins from the hotel when using taxi/ DiDi. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and found the facilities to be quite good.

This place was exactly like the photos – super nice with amazing service. The hosts were incredibly kind and even gave us a ride to the Qingcheng Mountain entrance and the Qingcheng Railway Station. If you’re planning to hike up Qingcheng Mountain, I totally recommend staying here.
1.The room was super spacious and looked just like the pictures. Everything felt fresh, clean, and super comfy.
2.The bed was really soft, and all the amenities were modern and well thought out.
3.The staff were friendly, helpful, and just really lovely overall.
4.Great location – close to Qingcheng Station and the mountain.
5.Breakfast is included, but sadly we woke up too late to try ๆit. Next time for sure! We did have lunch there though, and it was delicious.
6.Honestly, everything was great. Totally worth every penny.

Facilities: The hotel and room facilities are quite old, and the walls are severely waterlogged due to years of rain.
Cleanliness: The hotel is mediocre, with some mosquitoes and insects hanging around corners, and the bedding has a damp smell.
Environment: Sitting on the balcony or in the lobby bar, you can see the lush mountains in the distance. The air is especially fresh after the rain, and the mist is shrouded in clouds, creating a very picturesque atmosphere.
Service: The hotel staff will do their best to provide services upon request, so it's generally acceptable.

After a trip to Sunac, I took my son to Qingcheng Mountain. This B&B is very close to the ancient town and the Wulonggou trailhead. I was very satisfied with the overall environment, the scenery, and the stable water temperature in the room, which is very important for families with children. My son loved the steak for breakfast. After breakfast, we checked out and went hiking. At noon, I asked him what he wanted, and he said he wanted steak. There's also a French bulldog in the house, which really won him over. The owner and the family are very good. I will stay here again next time I'm in Qingcheng Mountain.

The hotel environment is very nice, the room facilities are good, and the staff are very attentive and warm. The only downside is the location is a bit out of the way. Driving is fine, but there's a flight of stairs to the lobby from where you park, which can be inconvenient with luggage. However, the staff will help you with that once they realize it. It would be great if there were luggage carts available.

I liked the (Chinese-style) breakfast. The staff was helpful and they even took me down to the front of the mountain ticket office. The food at night (beef and bamboo shoots) was not bad.
I stayed in the garden view room, with two single beds. The bed was comfortable. The tea in the room was really nice Maofeng tea. The style of the room didn’t scream luxury to me (not the quiet kind either).
As for the location, I thought it would be nice to be in mountainous surroundings but it didn’t prove to be very convenient for my needs. I arrived on Friday and went to the front mountain on Saturday. Someone from the hotel very kindly dropped me off near the ticket office.
A little aside: After visiting the mountain I decided on a spontaneous trip to Nanqiao (the south bridge) in Dujiangyan (I had not seen it at night on an earlier trip there). It was not that hard to find a taxi back, but keep in mind a small surcharge of 3.9% for taking you up the mountain).
On Sunday I left the hotel too late as it was already very busy on the road to the back mountain ticket the taxi driver did not want to take me there (cause it would mean being stuck in traffic for hours either no compensation for all this waste of time) but offered to take me to The high speed railway station from which I could take a bus (passing hotel again!). Obviously the bus also ended up in a traffic jam, but in any case I did make it there in the end. Luckily I took my luggage and left it at a shop next to the foot passenger ticket office for 5 yuan.
Unfortunately the hot water spring is only open in winter. They have a nice pool though. I enjoyed my stay but didn’t find it very luxurious although it is rare to have a hotel with a pool in China, so that was cool. At around 50 euros per night it was okay value for money.
