One of the best hotels I have stayed at. Located close to the train station and close to the historical center of Bath. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The rooms are comfortable and include free mini bar items. It is a charming hotel and I wi stay again.

Excellent location, right in the centre. Very clean and modern hotel, lovely sitting area in the lobby. Room was cosy and modern with a big TV. Bed was comfortable but pillows were too soft. Shower was powerful. Breakfast was adequate. We parked at the nearby car park that was £20.

Ideal location for a trip to Bath - it’s all on your doorstep! Nice staff and room was pleasant enough. Breakfast could be better but you get what you pay for. Used the gym too which was nice to have. But if you want Bath on your doorstep and to be able to walk everywhere it’s ideal!

We enjoyed staying at the Lansdown Grove Hotel on a recent short break in Bath. The hotel is around a 15 min walk from the centre of Bath and it was useful having a parking space at the hotel. The staff were helpful and attentive, and the accommodation comfortable and well set out. Thanks!

I stayed at the Apex City of Bath Hotel with three other people in a room with two queen beds. The room was big, comfortable, and had a window, which was nice. The hotel is a little far from the train station, about a 10-minute walk, but it’s an easy walk to the city center, which takes around 5-7 minutes. The price was good, especially since I got a discount on Trip.com after booking train tickets. Compared to the Apex City of London, this hotel felt a bit less fancy. The London hotel had more special things for birthdays, like free extras. We didn’t try the hotel’s breakfast, but there are many good places for breakfast nearby. Overall, the stay was nice. If you don’t mind walking a bit, it’s a good choice. Next time, I might stay in a hotel more in the center of town.

Bath Abbey Hotel, a Marriott Tribute Portfolio Property I booked this hotel in Bath through trip.com. I took advantage of two promotions on the platform: a £5.99 railcard purchase and £5 off train tickets, both requiring booking a European hotel within 26 days through trip.com. Considering that the official website’s prices were quite similar, I went with the trip.com booking. I reserved a cozy room for 1 adult without breakfast for £113. Money-saving tip: I used TopCashback to access trip.com, earning $7.67 cashback for this booking. After I checked out, trip.com triggered an immediate discount of £10.46, which I applied to my next train ticket purchase. ❤️ Third-party Marriott members get perks, too! This hotel falls under the Marriott Tribute Portfolio, embracing a boutique hotel approach. The entire establishment dates back to 1739, boasting a historic exterior. It’s conveniently situated just about 3 minutes’ walk from the Roman Baths and across from Sally Lunn’s. With my Marriott Platinum Card, even with a third-party reservation, the hotel upgraded us to a larger ground floor room facing the street after matching our account, but it’s not advisable due to potential noise. They also offered complimentary à la carte breakfast. Breakfast slots had to be reserved during check-in, and we chose a table at 10 AM. The breakfast was abundant, and the restaurant had a charming and lovely atmosphere. The experience was excellent (the best things are free!). Unfortunately, I don’t have space for more photos, but I’ll post one of the restaurant later. The room was quite small, designed in a modern British style, with a movie-themed decor according to the posters on the wall. All the amenities were provided, with local brand toiletries available for purchase at the front desk for £25 for two bottles. They were decent, but nothing extraordinary to consider bringing back home. The minibar had coffee, various teas, semi-skimmed milk packets, and biscuits. The bottled still water was in an aesthetically pleasing canned form. 🌟 There’s an Elemis sleep kit on the bedside: temple balm/sleep mist/eye cream, placed over a hotel postcard, looking quite exquisite. The bed was very comfortable. ❌ However, there were a few drawbacks to this place… a bit unnerving… I’m not sure if I just had bad luck. The hotel corridors were somewhat confusing, and I accidentally opened the wrong room door once using my own room card. Strangely, the next day around ten o’clock, while I was in the bathroom and my son was on the bed, despite securing the latch on our door, someone managed to open it slightly, presumably seeing my son on the bed, and then closed the door. Perhaps it was a housekeeping staff member wanting to clean the room? Regardless, it felt quite odd… a little unsettling, to be honest

Henrietta House, A Member of Radisson Individuals
Henrietta House, A Member of Radisson IndividualsHenrietta House, A Member of Radisson Individuals
Hotel near Bath
Steeped in history, Bath’s Henrietta House originates from the 1780s when a ‘new town’ area of Bath was built south of the river Avon. The architect of Henrietta House and the street was Thomas Baldwin who worked with Sir William Pulteney to divide up what had been river meadows.Today, Henrietta House offers a centrally located, tranquil setting with accommodation in 21 unique rooms.13;10;Bath was one of the most exclusive and glamorous cities in the entire world in the 1700s. Home to celebrated names such as Thomas Gainsborough (painter), Admiral Phillip (founder of Australia), and William Herschel (discoverer of Uranus), Bath was a spa town and retreat for the wealthy. A place where the upper echelons of British society could decamp from their country estates and London town-houses to meet, revel and make new connections over the summer months. The city was filled with the bustle of servants, the clatter of hooves and the chatter of the upper classes, gossiping over tea or duelling at the card table.13;10;Bath’s pre-eminence as ‘the place to be seen’ began to decline in the late 1700s. Whilst seaside resorts such as Brighton became the new fashionable hotspots for the privileged, Bath’s allure as a place of culture, healing and relaxation never disappeared entirely. Over two nights during the Second World War, Bath suffered heavy bombing, destroying much of the city close to the river. The scars of this trauma are evident in the entanglement of old and new buildings scattered across the city today.13;10;Bath is now as popular as ever. It is home to a large student population, drawn by the city’s two esteemed universities. Travellers flock to the city to admire the architecture and peruse the Roman Baths – the grandest amp; best preserved example in northern Europe. Meanwhile, the residents proudly inhabit a UNESCO world heritage city (courtesy of Bath’s Georgian architecture), and its streets are regularly employed as sets for film and TV, starring in films such as ‘The Duchess’, ‘Vanity Fair’ and ‘Sense...

Small luxury hotel I feel relieved to see that it is SLH, but it is unusually understaffed. From check-in to dining in the restaurant, you have to wait, wait, wait. If you don’t understand English, please don’t come. Most of the employees look like college students who work part-time and cannot solve the problem alone. question. The restaurant and bar are good, the room is very big, you need to take the stairs to the first floor, and the bathroom is half a floor up. The swimming pool is small and there are many people. There is a sauna, but it was useless because the temperature was 30 degrees on the day of arrival. Charging the tram is also very funny. It took a long time to fully charge it.

The staff were really friendly and sweet! The location is good about 10-15mins walk into central town. Our room was well equipped with a dyson hair dryer. The breakfast was also really lovely. The toilet in the room we stayed in was in a little bit of an awkward position or else this would have recieved 5 stars!

The hotel and room were nice, and the staff mainly helpful and friendly. However, at about 11pm we heard what we thought was the shower in the next door room. There was also knocking on our door. We answered to find a drunk, in just his underpants, URINATING on our door!! The night porter was very helpful and offered another room. Whilst we understand this event was entirely out of the hotel’s control, it was not even mentioned when we checked out. When we then mentioned that we had been disappointed with our stay, the manager ( who was at the desk and had listened to our conversation up to then) disappeared to his office and left the receptionist to talk with us. That was absolutely unbelievable! We won’t be going back.

SSoyeonIt was a nice and nice hostel ... Especially Casey was a really nice person! Friendly and delicious cocktails ㅎㅎ The building was beautiful and the room was worth staying. It's a little small and it's unfortunate that there is no refrigerator, but if you come in autumn and winter, you can leave the window outside. Shampoo and body wash were Scottish fine soap companies, so it was great! However, it is regrettable that it is far from the center ... If you have a lot of luggage, it would be better to go right near the center. This is a hill, so you can walk around, but with your luggage.. It's good to take a bus or taxi. Still, the view of the bath on the way down is the best, so it is recommended!

The studio that we stayed in is very well set out with a nice separation between the kitchen/lounge area and the main double bed. There is also a sofa bed which is quite large. GGuest UserPositives - excellent receptionist (Vipin) and without his help I would have probably checked out early. Has parking. Reasonable location and access into central Bath. Has an electric kettle and a pack of cookies. Not so positives - In desperate need of upgrade, creaking floors, wash basin outside the bathroom. It isn’t for work related travellers as you cannot even use an iron without tripping off the entire building main switch and once that happen there is no 24 hour active reception. No fan or iron provided in room so you have to ask. Tiny computer monitor used as a make shift TV that you have to pull out of a closet. No drinking water in room. Value for money not there as many better locations available at same or lower price.
