5-Star Hotels in Antu

Initially, I was worried about whether there were any good new hotels here, but then I stumbled upon Yonggui Chuan opening a new one in Changbai Mountain and immediately decided to stay. The hotel just opened, so the facilities and environment are incredibly new. The front desk gave my friend and me really spacious rooms with excellent natural light, especially the large floor-to-ceiling windows – they were so calming. After spending the day out, coming back in the evening to experience the beautiful and photogenic night view from the lobby was wonderful. If I hadn't had an early flight the next day, I feel like having a drink at the bar would have been incredibly relaxing. I've already recommended this place to my friends. It's very close to the North Slope, just a 5-minute walk to the ticket gate. A highlight is their 'iron pot stew' dining experience, a hearty local specialty. I visited in summer, so I'm looking forward to trying it in winter. Environment: The surroundings feature pleasant greenery. Service: Warm and attentive.

Right at check-in, we were given two warm bottles of Changbai Mountain mineral water. The room was standard, and the heating was very strong – we had to sleep with the window open. The hot springs, however, are in a separate building, and you have to walk through the lobby on the ground floor to get to them. The lobby and the breakfast area on the second floor weren't warm enough, making it easy to catch a cold after coming back from the hot springs. The hot springs themselves are communal and only have a few small pools; it's not really worth going unless you just want a quick taste of Changbai Mountain's hot springs.

This long-awaited trip to Changbai Mountain in winter had been on my mind for years, and this year I finally made it happen. While planning at home, I stumbled upon this hotel. Initially, I was a bit hesitant, wondering if such a large villa would have cleanliness issues, especially since I'm really sensitive to cold. But when I arrived at the hotel, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Someone helped me with my luggage as soon as I entered, brought me hot water, and gave me tons of tips for exploring, even helping me take some beautiful photos. What else are girls traveling for, if not for great pictures? Haha. Once I got to the room, the place was genuinely stunning. I loved the decor in every single room. It completely solved my fear of the cold during this deep winter. Every corner of the room was beautifully arranged and super clean – I felt like I could take over a hundred photos just in the room. In the afternoon, basking in the sun next to the large floor-to-ceiling windows, looking out at the snowscape, was just incredible. During this visit, I also happened to meet the hotel's general manager, who was a really nice person, with that unique warmth and humor characteristic of Northeasterners. As a 'southern potato' (a playful term for someone from the south), standing in front of him made me feel like a happy little figurine! I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Environment: This hot spring hotel at Changbai Mountain boasts exceptional aesthetics and design. The courtyard has a 'little Kyoto' vibe, which is fantastic! It's rare to find such a peaceful, high-quality, and beautiful Kyoto-esque environment in Changbai Mountain; it completely exceeded my expectations. The hot spring lounge area is stunning and perfect for photos. It’s ideal for a few days' stay to relax and soak in the hot springs. Facilities: The facilities are on par with high-end hotels in first-tier cities. I especially loved the slippers and toiletries—they were excellent! 👍 Cleanliness: Impeccable. Service: They upgraded my room, which I absolutely loved! ♥️
