The public areas are elegantly designed; the lobby has a strong New Chinese aesthetic, and the tea break area is quiet and pleasant, great for relaxing with a cup of tea while waiting for transport. We received a room upgrade, and the bathroom materials were high-quality. The terrazzo walls looked sophisticated and durable, while the smart toilet and separate shower were clean and tidy. The toiletries provided were comprehensive, and the cleaning was meticulous with no unpleasant odors. The staff provided attentive and thoughtful service, making check-in efficient. It's also very convenient for getting to all the scenic spots. This is definitely my top choice for a summer stay in Changbai Mountain; the environment is serene, the facilities are solid, and it’s comfortable for both travel and relaxation. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit."

"I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! When I was using AI to plan my trip, it suggested a hot spring hotel with VIP access, and I booked it for convenience. I didn't expect it to be such great value! Don't underestimate the VIP access – you have a better chance of seeing Tianchi Lake in the morning, taking advantage of perfect timing, location, and people, saving both time and effort! The butler contacted me a day in advance, so as a solo traveler, I didn't have to worry at all about hotel arrangements or transfers. Everything, from the Changbai Mountain Tianchi trip to the mountain biking experience, was perfectly organized. The pool was clean, the hot springs had unlimited access, and all the services were thoughtful. There's also a pet park, which both my child and I thoroughly enjoyed. The dining service was excellent too; the breakfast spread was incredibly diverse and gave me plenty of energy before hiking. The Chinese restaurant was also good; the 'iron pot stew' was generous and delicious – simply fantastic!"

"The hotel is very clean, spacious and located quite near to the Changbaishan North Slope Scenic Centre (approx 15 mins slow walk to the centre). The hotel is also surrounded with a lot of restaurants and walking distance to the market street. Fronting the hotel is a big park & 5 mins walk to the reindeer park as well. The hotel also provides free transport to & fro from the train station (just need to advance 1 day booking through the counter when going back). All the hotel staff are very nice & polite and they even make extra effort to contact you 1 to 2 days in advance whether you need transport and they can make arrangements to fetch you from the train station to their hotel. If you need transport to the airport, the hotel staff can assist you to arrange, the cost is approx CNY$250, journey around 1.5 to 2 hrs."

The hot spring was not as impressive. Not sure if it's because of non-peak season, the facility was not fully open. But it is still good enough for those who want to experience hot springs in cold weather."

"An absolutely wonderful guesthouse, fantastic in every aspect! The warm and attentive service was incredibly impressive, making us feel like we were visiting relatives. They offer pick-up and drop-off service to the Changbai Mountain Chibei distribution center, which is about a 10-minute drive, and also to the nearby parking lot. The guesthouse's environment and facilities are excellent; the bedding and pillows were especially comfortable, ensuring a very restful sleep. You can even enjoy hot springs right at the guesthouse. Its central location in Enduli makes dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The self-service breakfast was also incredibly rich – having stayed in many boutique guesthouses, this one had the best breakfast by far! All in all, if you're visiting the north slope of Changbai Mountain, choosing Huansen will definitely not disappoint!"

"This hotel really left me speechless. First off, for a local five-star hotel, there was no one to greet us at the entrance, and no one to help with our luggage when we arrived or departed. Unless you've pre-booked a shuttle service, no one will assist you. Secondly, the staff's attitude was an issue. I'm not sure if it's because they're from the Northeast, but their tone was incredibly cold and unfriendly. I'm not asking for forced smiles, but at least a more approachable tone would be nice. The bath amenities in the room weren't enough, so I asked housekeeping for more. The person who delivered them just scowled, said nothing, handed them over, and left. It was really frustrating. The hot springs area was decent, with two floors and an outdoor section. The breakfast was another story. I've never seen a resort breakfast only served until 9:30 AM. We arrived close to 9 AM, and while there were still many diners, a lot of items weren't being replenished. The toaster burned the bread, and the freshly cooked wontons and noodles were clearly frozen. This kind of breakfast was priced at over 100 RMB. The room facilities were just standard chain hotel quality, definitely not worth the 2000 RMB per night. Because of the hot springs, there were very few places to hang swimsuits and towels. For a 2000 RMB per night room, there was no mini-bar, nothing in the fridge, and the coffee on the table was the cheap, 1.8-gram instant kind. While the room temperature was warm, there was no humidifier. If you're going out for activities like rafting, the hotel does offer partnered car services. They're a bit more expensive than a taxi, but the driver will wait for you, so you don't have to call for a car after your activity. Overall, my experience at this hotel was very negative. From the exterior, the hotel looks luxurious and aims for a high-end image, but the internal staff seemed untrained and couldn't keep up with the service expected of a five-star hotel."

"If you are traveling during winter, it's a lovely place to stay, it's like a condo rent out of that sort, during the snow season does look like a santa town, a small village with decor surrounded with lights, very christmasy. Big apartment, we booked 2 bedrooms room type, heat, hot water etc all equipped. Cleanliness is great the first day, sloppy afterwards, stains on floors from day 2 til the day we left. We stayed for 5 nights. Service wise still quite good, 阳阳 is very responsive, 5 stars for her. But it's noisy every morning, there were 3 morning straight I got woken up by the noises at like 6am, other guests or staffs loud chats, banging sounds, furnitures moving around etc.... usually from 6-8 am. Breakfast is horrible though 😆 Overall, it's still a good option."
