"I initially thought this was a large hotel, but it's actually more like a small guesthouse. The lobby is tiny and quite basic. Thankfully, the room itself was decent, not small in terms of size, but the facilities were just average. The air conditioning buttons were particularly finicky. The bathroom's wet/dry separation wasn't well-designed; there was no convenient place to put dry clothes after showering, making it awkward to get dressed. Breakfast was also very simple. The only real upside is its good location, being relatively close to the North Slope Distribution Center, about a 1km walk. Parking for self-drivers isn't very convenient as there's no dedicated lot; you have to find street parking yourself. Compared to the price of 600-700 per night, the value for money isn't great. 🥲"

"The hotel's location is excellent, nestled among lush greenery. It truly lives up to its five-star rating with impeccable service. The room amenities are top-notch, and the breakfast spread is fantastic. My group of four friends booked four rooms. The room rate didn't include hot springs, but the hot springs were wonderful. We went in the morning when it was quiet and clean, and the service there was also exceptional. We were told the VIP access to Changbai Mountain was canceled, but the hotel still provided timely shuttle service to the park entrance. Our butler contacted us in advance to arrange check-in and answer any questions. Upon arrival, our luggage was immediately taken to our rooms. They even gave us freshly baked cookies, which were delicious. The hotel is close to the Changbai Mountain scenic area, and we were very satisfied with our stay."

"The service was incredibly warm, making for a fantastic experience. Front desk staff Yuan Yuan was enthusiastic and efficient. They offered free luggage storage and the shuttle driver was professional and punctual, providing excellent, worry-free service throughout. The location is superb, making travel stress-free. It's within walking distance to the North Slope Tourist Distribution Center and just a 5-minute taxi ride to the mountain gate, which is super convenient for catching the early view of Tianchi Lake. We were also right next to Edelweiss Park and the Wetland Flower Sea, and only 7.7 km from Changbaishan Station, with free shuttle service making things incredibly convenient!"

"We have an enjoyable stay 4 night stay at the hotel. Our butler 小贺 was responsive to our needs and did his best to ensure that we are well taken care of. A special shout out to our 百度 driver 刘先生。He is friendly and informative. Went beyond his duties to assist us on our enquiries and even suggested options when our 1st choice is not available. He is definitely an asset to the hospitality industry. As for the hotel amenities, perhaps the management could consider installing a few more washing machines to cater guests when the hotel is serving at its full capacity. Like to thank the 阿姨 who cook our noodles at the canteen every morning during breakfast. She maintains professionalism even at the peak of the breakfast hours."

"I had a wonderful stay at Changbaishan Hailinyuan Fashion Hotel! The hotel is very affordable, making it a great option for budget travelers without compromising on comfort. What really stood out was the owner’s incredible hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the owner went out of their way to make our stay easy and enjoyable. They provided transport from Changbaishan Station to the hotel and even offered to take us to local attractions at no extra charge, which made exploring the area so much easier. The photos below show the owner fetching us to the attractions, which was such a thoughtful touch! The hotel is located right in town, so it’s very convenient. There are many food options nearby, as well as a convenience store, which made grabbing snacks or essentials very easy. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall environment of the hotel was welcoming and cozy. The owner is truly a kind and thoughtful person, always ready to help and ensure guests have a smooth and pleasant stay. I felt really looked after throughout our visit. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly hotel with excellent service, a convenient location, and a personal touch, I highly recommend Changbaishan Hailinyuan Fashion Hotel. The front desk staff guided us remotely to the parking, saving us the hassle of driving around in circles. The check-in process was handled with a constant smile, and they proactively recommended authentic local Korean ethnic cuisine. They also thoroughly explained the locations of nearby supermarkets, shopping malls, and gas stations. The check-out process was simple and quick, with no hidden fees. The staff were meticulous and genuinely warm-hearted in their service."
