I know this hotel is quite old but classic and and worth the price. The room is very wide, i like that so much. Bcause nowdays all new hotels is just standart and to small like studio type. This hotel is family friendly, because of the wide room, and al the facility that all we needed. Not that high but the view from the room is still good. Surabayaaaa what else you can see than cityview? Haha. Anyway, very recommended for those who like wide room and near from mall, foodcenter, and all you need.

very comfy, i booked for deluxe but there were no room available so my room was upgraded, thanks to the staff for being professional and helpful. breakfast was good and quite lots of choices (western and indonesian) from pancakes, indonesian traditional food, and chinese food like fried rice etc. room was clean but can be cleaner (i found few little insects but that was actually fine for me. overall very recommended and the hotel is located in the center of the city so this one is a plus! 🤩

really satisfied for staying here, got a room with the best view, the sunrise. really worth the price, it's clean. the location is a bit far from the train station and alun-alun. but not that far.

The place is nice, clean, comfortable, the location is very strategic, just next to the marina plaza. want to find a place to eat and gadgets to stay through. The check-in staff is friendly, the check-in process is not too long. The facilities are very basic, but according to the price. coffee and tea facilities are not available, but in the lobby is already available, there is even a light snack. breakfast is quite varied, the soto is the best. free and fast wifi. according to the price offered

Nestled in an enviable location, this hotel has rightfully earned its popularity among locals. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a team of amiable staff who extended a warm welcome. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, and we highly recommend trying the in-house nasi goreng. The spacious rooms, while lacking in some amenities, were otherwise comfortable. However, we did notice a slight odor of dampness and dust that was slightly unpleasant. One minor quibble we had was with the lighting - the dimming lights were not strong enough to provide sufficient illumination, especially after sunset. Additionally, we were disappointed to find only one pair of slippers provided in the room despite booking for two guests in each of our two rooms. Was this a cost-cutting measure? Our biggest issue arose when we arranged for the hotel's car service to take us to the airport upon departure. The driver first dropped off our parents at the domestic terminal, but it wasn't until later that he informed us of an additional charge to take us to the international terminal - despite the short distance between them. We had already paid a premium for the hotel's chartered car service, and it was disappointing that the driver did not disclose this additional charge upfront. While we understand the importance of profit margins, we believe it's essential to prioritize transparency and honesty with guests. Overall, this hotel was a decent choice for the price we paid. Despite the minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the friendly staff and excellent breakfast.

Ascott waterpalace hotel lobby is located in front of PTC west lobby. I entered the wrong lobby, apartment lobby so need to turn around. After taking the parking ticket, I parked my car near lobby and started started the check-in process. The check-in process takes about 30 minutes because it explains many rules that must be obeyed and the procedure for replacing the parking ticket with a parking card after check-in and replacing the parking card with a parking ticket at check out. Fortunately, the check-in process was carried out in a sitting position with a comfortable and soft chair. The hotel lobby is on the left while the apartments are on the right. The interior and furniture are still very well maintained and good even though the corridor leading to the room feels stuffy and hot. Executive rooms have kitchen facilities, living room, dining table, bedroom and bathroom. Cooking utensils and cutlery are very complete. Microwaves, electric stoves, sinks, dispensers, kettles, pans, plates, glasses, spoons, forks, soup bowls, and washing machines are all complete and functioning properly. The room is really suitable for gatherings event and cooking together. There are 2 TV's in the living room and bedroom. Wifi and TV service is also very good. Amazingly, I paid close attention to the cleanliness in my room, with a large room size, I didn't find any dirty or stained parts at all. The bathroom is equipped with a bath and shower. Amenities are produced by Budi Jaya Amenities which contain 100 ml (normally only 30-40 ml). the sachet uses brand twinnings. The public facilities are top-notch and very complete, starting from a clean kids club, a special hotel pool complete with a gazebo even though the pool size is not too big, a business center, a gym with a life fitness brand and complete equipment (although a bit dark), and there are 4 pools available integrated with apartment facilities (1 pool is being renovated, rotating pool, kids pool, and standard pool). I think they should improve the breakfast quality, taste are pretty below the standard and the food variants are also very minimalist. Even though coffee uses a coffee machine, there is only black coffee. Others are pudding, cake, cereal, juice (orange and kiwi). Sausage, vegetables, noodles, fried rice, chicken, fruit slices, soup, porridge, omelette. I've only tried a bit of everything and have no interest in adding more. On the other hand, the lack of breakfast is very reasonable because the price difference between breakfast and room only is only Rp. 40.000,00

Stay 1 night at Mercure Manyar Surabaya, here under are the experiences 1. Fast cek in and warm welcome by Mr. Umar MOD, got #507 & 505 2. Room set up - nice environment, love euro pillow 3. Amenities is okay 4. Install with Smart TV 5. Warm staff 6. Room wifi is good¹ Things need improvement 1. Coridor the way to room is not so bright 2. Towel - thats time to replace 3. No bottle (Aqua?) Set up, seems apply green concept ? 4. Simple breakfast & small car park Who love Surabaya, it is recommended to stay at Mercure Manyar

Very beautiful, modern and cozy hotel. But 2 important things: WIFI runs bad and the most important... It's an obligation to change sheets and pillows. My sheets were not changed, even pillows, with long hairs of previous guest. To bad this!!!

Always wanted to stay in here since the previous building was my teachers' place 😆 The hotel looks great, and it's comfy inside. Need more air circulation tho, I booked the most affordable one but it shouldn't be the reason for less air circulation 🤍

Very pleased to stay there. There is only one bummer. Also this hotel has to improve the language skllls of their employees. Beside this, all sweet and perfect.
