Our stay at Talmud Hotel Yizhong Taichung was mixed. The hotel location is convenient, especially for travellers who want to explore the Yizhong Night Market area, with many shops, restaurants, and local attractions nearby. However, the room size was smaller than expected, making it a bit challenging for a family with children, especially with luggage. The biggest concern during our stay was the room cleanliness and hygiene condition. My children and I experienced insect bites during the stay, with red rashes appearing on our legs. We suspect it may have been caused by dust mites or an issue with the bedding environment. This significantly affected our comfort and overall experience. The hotel location is a strong advantage, but we hope the management can improve room cleaning standards, especially mattress and bedding hygiene, to ensure a more comfortable and safe stay for future guests. Overall, the convenient location was appreciated, but the cleanliness issue was a major disappointment and something the hotel should address.

The location is super close to Yizhong Street Night Market, and there are excellent amenities nearby. Parking is available through a partnership with a nearby parking lot. The staff is very attentive. This place is highly recommended if you're looking to explore the night market or visit Taichung First Senior High School and National Chung Hsing University.

When checking in, the front desk staff spoke a bit quickly, probably because they say the same thing many times a day, almost like a robot. I had to listen carefully to make sure I didn't miss any important information about the hotel. There was some mold in the bathroom and a few stains on the sofa. However, the duvet and towels were clean, and the mattress, though a bit firm, was comfortable for sleeping. The hotel's location is unbeatable; you step out of the elevator and are immediately in the Yizhong shopping district.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. The front desk staff were very attentive; as soon as they saw my child, they immediately asked if we needed a baby bathtub. The only downside was that the bathroom floor was a bit slippery, which felt a little dangerous. The hotel breakfast was also delicious and suited my taste perfectly.

Although the hotel is located within the night market, it's surprisingly quiet. The transportation is also very convenient, with many different attractions nearby, all within about a 15-minute walk. The front desk staff were very friendly and willing to answer any questions. The room was very clean and well-equipped with water. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was strong, ensuring a very pleasant night's sleep.

Hotel is at the Yi Zhong night market. It very convenient. However the hotel bed was not a proper king/queen size bed, but two single beds pushed together. Sleeping in the middle was very uncomfortable. The hotel only provided one pillow, and the pillow was very soft and became flat quickly after lying on it, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep.

It's super convenient for dining and shopping at Yizhong Street right downstairs.

The mattress is quite hard, and the pillow does not provide enough support, but it doesn’t affect my sleep. The soundproofing is good and being on the 7th floor, I can’t hear traffic noise. I sleep with the lights off, but after waking up, the lights somehow turn on automatically. The basic amenities are complete, the air conditioning is cold, and the lighting is comfortable. The bathroom is spacious, but the drainage in the shower area is a bit slow, so it creates puddle after every shower. The lobby is large. There is a water dispenser and there are sofas. The location is right in Yizhong Street Night Market. Within walking distance, there are four vegetarian restaurants and a self-service laundry. Overall, it’s a good experience. Recommended 👍

Location was good. Near night market and accessible to street food. Room is small and DUSTY. The lift is small and slow during peak check in/out timing. Not a good choice for cleanliness.
