Find the Best Romantic Hotels Taichung

The mid-sized hotel is located just outside the Feng Jia Night Market street so there are ample eating places. The counter staff was very helpful in explaining to us the general policy, breakfast arrangement etc. Facility wise, being a younger brother of the Holiday Inn chain, it is of course not as fully equipped. On the whole I would encourage others to consider this hotel when in Taichung.

Positives: - Huge room with separate living room and bedroom (2 TVs too) - balcony for fresh air - bose Bluetooth speaker - tv comes with pre loaded apps like YouTube - toilet has separate shower and tub - 7/11 next to hotel - Zhongxiao night market just one street away - breakfast decent variety - Excellent service - complimentary coffee and tea in lobby Negatives: - bed kind of hard - sound insulation not the best (can hear outside traffic) - tub is a tad short - living room area is kind of dark even with all the lights on - ceiling is a little low - no conditioner or body lotion provided - only two lifts and quite small so sometimes the wait for the lifts can take a while

The service at Shuiyunduan is as excellent as ever. I stayed there in 2017 and visited again in 2024. The difference is that I brought three more children with me. Thank you to the guy at the counter for his thoughtfulness and making our stay very enjoyable. The children like late night snacks and breakfast. The large spa bath in the room made us relax both physically and mentally. The parent-child game room also provides a place for lively children to meet new friends and play games together. Great accommodation, recommended for families with children.

After trying several hotels, now I always stay in Lin whenever I am in Taichung. Centrally located and best hotel. Room size is too big and breakfast buffet spread is also very vast

Hotel is located at a great location, nice facilities and good cleanliness in my room. My only feedback is that for people who drive, please be aware. The carpark entrance is at the back entrance of the hotel where the convenience stall is located. This hotel uses an Over Car Bonnet Storage system. We were greeted unpleasantly by the carpark assistant (an old man), not only were we not allowed to unload our luggage before parking, he didn't even bother assisting us with our carriage. To make matters worst, we saw him help another guest on arrival that was behind us at that time, to unload their luggage and give them guidance in parking. On my last day, i was awoken by the hotel staff through the hotel phone. They told me that my car was not parked properly and they could not activate the lever system for the carpark. Yes i would apologize if i have parked off by 2cm outwards, but I was woken up rudely in the morning after a long tiring night before with no apologies whatsoever. A note to future hotel guest, if you intend to have your car parked in the hotel, please be mindful the space is not very SUV friendly.

Best location to stay which near to Fengjia Night Market. Convenience store near by. Nicely staff, room is clean and the size of the room is a bit small but acceptable. Environment of the room not bright enough. Breakfast very nice and delicious. Free parking.

Location - I’m not sure if we just missed out on what’s nearby. But we did walk on the sides, we were searching around of what’s there to see. We didn’t see much, like we realized after walking for a few minutes that we just found the convenient store which is kinda far if that was the nearest available (or again, there could be one the other side we don’t know haha). So after walking around, and realizing there’s nothing much to see. We already booked an Uber going to the night market. It wasn’t that far from the HSR Station. I couldn’t remember the exact distance and travel time. But if I find it far I’d normally remember it and say it. Service - it was an easy check-in and check-out. Though, I almost forgot to get a receipt. Had to proactively ask for one. Luckily we decided to stay for a bit after checking out, we remembered it and got to request for it. I like how they already asked upon checking in if we need a room cleaning service. That was convenient. The breakfast was so so (on my personal taste bud). Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t that bad. I love the room the most! We were happy about how spacious it is. And it has an AI box which we loved. The bathtub has a tv, the shower area was spacious, the ambience of the room, hallways and lobby. The free snacks. The brand of the body wash and conditioner. The free Nescafe machine in the lobby. I’d definitely recommend it and I’d stay here again. (Though I still have a pending concern that I have to figure out myself, cause the amount showing in the invoice was different from the amount showing on tha app. Haven’t checked how much was the final amount taken out on my card) The late check out costs Ntd$1,000/hour

The receptionist at the counter and the general customer service were very polite and friendly. The outdoor courtyard was beautiful with many children's play facilities. The breakfast dishes were OK. I stayed in Building B and felt that the room was not very big, which might be due to the layout. Overall, it was OK, except that the water temperature of the shower was too high and it was not easy to Adjust to suitable temperature.

Hotel is clean and opposite of Carrefour. 7-11 and Family Mart are of walking distance. Amenities are there and people are friendly.

Pretty good experience staying here. near to fengchia and convenient stores and shopping right infront nd everywhere. check in and out process is super fast. room is also spacious and has all amenities provided. Only thing is refill of water only at L7 and you have to walk up from L6. which is not knee friendly. Breakfast also at L7 and has no proper queue and seat allocation so basically you try to snatch your own seat as shortage of staff. Food selection is acceptable.
