Location not really convenient, can only take small bus, Uber or walk, good things there is onsen inside the room. Receptionist uncle and auntie are all very helpful and kind.

Honestly, the location is a bit tricky at its high altitude, plus there are very few places to eat nearby, and it's about a 15-minute walk from Xinbeitou Station. Things around there are also a bit pricey. But thankfully, there's a Hi-Life convenience store nearby! There's no Wi-Fi in the accommodation, and the cell phone signal is occasionally weak. Also, the room had a strong musty smell when I entered, which improved slightly when the air conditioning was on. The bathroom wasn't separated into wet and dry areas, typical of a hotel. What's really frustrating is that the hot spring water is advertised as 40-50 degrees Celsius, but it only reached about 25-28 degrees Celsius, not hot enough for a relaxing soak. Even the only advantage—the hot spring itself—wasn't enjoyed, which is quite disappointing. Breakfast consisted of typical breakfast shop sandwiches costing 25-30 NTD, plus a non-iced drink in a foil packet costing about 10 NTD. Overall, it's usable as a place to sleep and rest, but if you want to enjoy Beitou's hot springs, there are better options. The only redeeming feature is that the price is relatively cheap compared to other tourist attractions.
