Hotels Near Taipei Expo Park in Taipei

Location is near Taipei main station however it is very complicated to walk to the hotel using the underground mall. Preferably to walk on above ground. The hotel is quite dimly lit. My spouse does not feel comfortable staying there as she feel quite spooky. However the hotel is going green. Therefore many things are not provided.

Great location as the hotel was next to Taipei Main Station where all kinds of public transport (bus terminal, HSR, and TSA) are just next to each other and are within walking distance. But in the room I stayed in, the air con was not cold and was stuffy. Informed the reception and was offered to change room, but it makes no difference. End up with my original room with the air con filter change. Stuff attending to my request was patient and took the trouble to accompany us to check the room before we decide whether to change the room.

It was 2500TWD for 2 nights. Because it was a weekend, the price was almost the same for one night and two nights. It is on the 7th floor of the building next to Shinko Mitsukoshi at Taipei Station. It feels like the office building was forced into a hotel for each floor, and there is no window. Each room has a toilet shower, a refrigerator, a valuables box, a kettle, a TV and a cooling. I think the room is quite spacious. I am not good at dormitory, I am not good at bus toilet joint, but I recommend it to those who want to stay cheaply.

I’ve been wanting to stay at this hotel for a long time and I finally had the chance during my trip to Taiwan. The hotel is convenient located near the Taipei Main Station and bus station and the MRT station. Hence is extremely convenient to get around. The room I got was quite spacious and clean. I believe it has been refurbished as the interior looks new. It is equipped with a smart tv so I could stream videos on YouTube all day long. The only disappoin**ent was that I did not get the room with the view of the Taipei Main station. The hotel staff were very friendly too. Amenities wise, there is no shortage of f&b establishments located near the hotel and most of them are very good. This hotel is one of the more affordable 5 star hotels in this area. Hence it’s a no brainer to pick this hotel over the rest. Overall, I’ve had a pleasant stay here I will definitely return to this hotel for my future trips.

Hotel is quite a walk away from the nearest train station (I have stayed at hotels nearer to train stations) but it is still manageable. Hotel staff went the extra mile to get us a steamer when they did not provide iron and ironing board. Clean and cozy place, will stay again if in Taipei.

The hotel is situated in an incredibly convenient location, just a stone's throw away from the vibrant Ximending Night Market! This bustling area is known for its lively atmosphere, street food, and shopping, making it a perfect spot for both tourists and locals alike. Additionally, there are several convenience stores located in close proximity to the hotel, which is incredibly handy for picking up snacks, drinks, or any essentials you might need during your stay. When it comes to breakfast, I found that the offerings were quite repetitive, with the same items served each day. If you're someone who enjoys variety in your morning meals, you might want to consider skipping the buffet altogether and exploring some of the local breakfast options available nearby. There are plenty of cafes and eateries in the area that can provide a more diverse and enjoyable dining experience. On another note, I did have some interactions with the staff at Takao Restaurant, and I must say that they weren't particularly warm or welcoming. The service felt a bit lacking, especially from an older lady who seemed to create quite a scene when handling the plates. This could detract from the overall dining experience, so it might be worth considering other dining options if you're looking for a more pleasant atmosphere.

The cleanliness of the hotel room is such a disappointment. The bathroom wall grouting & silicon was moldy, and spider webs were in the room. The TV and aircon vent were super dusty. The aircon, even off, was extremely cold. The overall cleanliness is terrible, with noticeable dust accumulating in several areas. It was disappointing and not up to the hygiene standards one would expect from a hotel room. To make matters worse, the cleanliness issues persisted even after the room was supposedly cleaned. The bathroom grouting remained moldy, spider webs lingered, and the attendant neglected to vacuum away the hairs on the floor. The bed has insects, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. This consistent neglect of hygiene standards throughout my stay was disappointing and unacceptable. This lack of attention to detail further emphasized the subpar cleanliness standards, contributing to an unsatisfactory stay.

Hotel location is convenient as it's only walking distance from Ximen's shopping district and MRT. Lots of shops and and restaurants around so you will never run out of options. The receptionist was accommodating with all our inquiries. We loved the fact that we can drink as many coffee and hot chocolate as we want from the drink machine in the lobby. There is a water dispenser as well to refill water. My sister and I had a wonderful stay and there isn't really much to complain about. The decor is quite old fashioned but our room was clean enough which is most important. Overall, we are satisfied. I would recommend to stay here if you are looking for an affordable decent place to stay for a couple of days in Ximen.

Although the hotel is obviously a bit old, but is well maintained, especially how our room is kept cleaned daily, and necessities/toiletries are religiously replenished. The overall staff, especially those assigned in the reception area, are consistently helpful and courteous. The area, although near the busy commercials of Ximending, is peaceful. The breakfast buffet is beyond satisfactory, considering the variety of food selection. I would definitely go back if given the chance in the future, and would recommend the same to others.

Green World ZhongXiao offers a convenient and comfortable stay, with the metro station just steps away and several 24-hour stores nearby. The room I stayed in was spacious, very clean, and well-lit with adjustable lighting options to suit your preference. The bed and pillows were plush and supportive, ensuring a good night's sleep. I was also impressed with the fast and reliable wifi connection, perfect for both work and leisure. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options to satisfy every palate. Overall, Green World ZhongXiao is a great choice for those seeking a hassle-free and enjoyable stay in Taipei.
