Taipei Hotels with Parking

The Hotel Resonance Taipei is a really stylish hotel. It's very new and in a fantastic location – super easy to get to, just a 2-minute walk left from Exit 3 of Shandao Temple MRT Station. The room layout is well-designed, with a separate shower and bathtub, and a dedicated toilet area. The soundproofing is excellent, and the bedding is very comfortable. A major bonus is the self-service laundry room, which is a lifesaver for washing clothes during a summer trip. The washing machines even come with detergent, and the dryer is powerful, getting clothes dry quickly. Just a heads-up though, the laundry room closes at 10 PM. I noticed when booking that the hotel breakfast was just a simple Starbucks meal, so I didn't opt for the breakfast package. There are plenty of convenience stores, supermarkets, and local breakfast spots nearby, so finding food in the morning was absolutely no problem. All in all, I definitely recommend Hotel Resonance Taipei!

If you're in Taiwan for a concert at Taipei Dome this is definitely your stay. It's just a 5 mins walk from the concert venue. It's actually within the Song Shan cultural park so there's also many exhibitions and weekend flea markets to explore around there. Convenience stores within the vicinity and many nice eateries too. For night owls, the 24 hrs Eslite bookstore is just next door. The room is also spacious and clean. The hotel staff upon realizing that I was there for a concert immediately offered me a room with the view of the Taipei Dome.

Really solid stay at the DoubleTree Zhongshan. The warm cookie at check-in sounds like a gimmick but after a long flight it actually hits different 😂 Location is the biggest win about 5 mins walk to Zhongshan MRT station, and the area around it is full of cafes and small shops. Ximending and Taipei Main Station are just a couple of stops away, super convenient without being in the middle of the chaos. Room was clean and modern, not the biggest but well laid out, and the bed was really comfortable. Bathroom had a proper walk-in shower with good water pressure. City view from my floor was nice at night. Staff spoke good English and were genuinely helpful asked for restaurant recommendations and got proper local suggestions instead of the usual tourist spots. Breakfast had a good mix of ********* and Western food, the congee and dan bing were my go-to every morning. Only minor gripe is the gym is on the smaller side, but everything else more than made up for it. Would happily stay here again next time in Taipei.

Facilities: The hotel facilities are almost identical to those of WHG hotels in Japan. I particularly love the separated wet and dry areas in the bathroom, and the option to take a bath in a tub or use the Japanese-style sitting shower. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: There's not much of a street view, but it's incredibly close to Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station, just a two to three-minute walk away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and a 7-Eleven and FamilyMart directly opposite. For attractions, Huashan 1914 Creative Park is close by. The breakfast is exquisite, offering a variety of Japanese and ********* options, with fresh ingredients. Service: The staff are very polite.

Hotel staff got my booking wrong and assigned me a wrong room category. The initial room was noisy and I could hear construction noise from the site opposite the hotel despite being up on the 18th floor. Soundproofing is rather poor as I can occasionally hear people's conversations as they walk along the corridor. The lounge was a nice touch though the food offerings especially during the afternoon tea and breakfast service could be better. Service in the club lounge was generally good but could be slower during busy times. Location of the hotel was good being minutes from the shopping and dining area.

The hotel's interior decor is stunning, with a strong Japanese feel. The rooms are clean and spacious, featuring a private onsen and yukata. Plus, there are complimentary drinks and snacks. If you check in around 3 PM, you can enjoy a tea ceremony performance with free green tea and snacks. Breakfast offers a wide and delicious selection!

The service needs improvement. We checked in around 7 or 8 PM and had to wait until 3 AM to get a room at the end of a hallway. When we called to ask if we could change rooms, the staff said no because the other rooms weren't cleaned yet. They also said if we wanted to change, we'd have to wait longer, and it would only be a low-floor connecting room. So, we went down to the front desk to discuss it, and suddenly, a high-floor room was available. My family went down to dinner first and told the restaurant staff that not everyone was there yet. But when I went down, they said they didn't know where my family was sitting and told me to find them myself. I don't know why the first staff member lied to us. Although their tone was polite, it felt like they weren't very dedicated to their work.

Excellent! Absolutely fantastic, truly excellent! I can't recommend it enough. A genuinely wonderful experience, over and over again. Simply outstanding, consistently great. This place is top-notch, really a cut above. I was so impressed, just brilliant. Consistently brilliant, an amazing stay every time. Truly a phenomenal experience, superb. I enjoyed my stay because the room was huge and very well maintianed, nice gym and there is a pool that was long enough to do a swim work out. The BF was worth it at NTD550, and there is a nearby 7-11 in case you need anything ( snacks, drinks, etc. ). There are also nearby restos and bars via a short walk. The nearby Omakase resto was amazing. Location is a bit off, no malls in the vicinity, but then again, you can easilly take a taxi or uber.

Room was big enough for 2 person and 2 small luggage, there’s even a sofa for me to lie down. There was a small onsen like tub which was amazing although it was slightly stained with mold around the grouting (I used hot water to clean it then used the tub). Bed was comfortable! Gym was alright, there’s a smith machine, weights, treadmills. Not very big and was actually slightly warm as it was summer when I went. Service was fairly good. I sprained my ankle and they were very happy to provide ice, towel and pillow. Plus points that we really like was they had free snack bar beside their hotel! Can try many different sweets, biscuits and jelly. There’s a big carrefour nearby too! Really recommend!
