Taunton Central (North)

Nice and relaxing .clean room .plenty of parking.used the pub next door for breakfast and evening meal.both very good .some of the restaurant looking a little tired in need of a refurbishment. Other than that its great .

Easy 20-minute walk from the train station. I have osteoarthritis and still found it a nice walk. Reception staff were lovely and very helpful. They can do you a meal deal with the brewers fayre next door and book a reservation for any meal time suitable for you. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. My only little ******, which would not affect 95% of the population, was the fact there are no plug sockets by the beds. I have sleep apnoea, which means I have to use a CPAP machine. As there were no sockets by the beds, I had to plug it in across the room, which worried me about being a trip hazard for friend and myself in the night. Apart from that, I would recommend this Premier Inn as it is also only a 30/40 minute stroll into Taunton Town centre.

A very friendly lovely experience. Warm and Professional welcome by reception staff and we also met the manager. Wonderfully clean and near Taunton town centre. Thanks for looking after us. We are next door and it was really nice, breakfast fantastic and well cooked. A really great stay.

I cannot thank the reception and cleaning staff enough. I stay last week and left some items in the room. I called and the team were amazing wrapping the parcel and allowing me to have it collected! Thank you so much. Also the stay was good and breakfast was great. Ordered fresh! Would definitely recommend

Felt like family staying there. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The restaurant next door offers delicious meals. The receptionists are lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I really enjoyed the shower. As I am from New Zealand some of the showers you need a degree in showerology on how they work 😀

We had a lovely greeting from reception when we arrived and throughout our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable .You could adjust the heating to your on personal comfort which was nice. Great position for getting into Taunton and other attractions. Will definitely be staying here again.

Medieval quality for the free Wi-Fi (and yes, they charge you for a decent Wi-Fi !). Heating problem in my room, solved only after 2 days. Limited shops and restaurants in immediate neighbourhood (25' walk to access supermarket) No cooling facilities (like mini-bar) in the room. I'm OK that room is not cleaned or laundry changed every single day. But please do this twice a week at least - without guest having to ask explicitely.

We were treated by Lucy on check in smd check out.. She was so helpful and friendly.. Nothing was too much for.. Room was great.. we had no 1 which I'd an accesible room. It was clean and very comfy.. theres a brewers fayre pub next-door food and drink and staff amd food there were great too.. Would def use this hotel again x

Stayed here for a wedding and had a great experience from the moment we arrived, Katie on the front desk checked us in with ease and made us feel really welcome. Especially when we asked for certain items in the room, Katie sorted it for us with no problem and very quickly. Rooms were nice and tidy and the restaurant next door was good especially for the morning breakfast.
