Blue Dream Palace Trypiti Beach Spa Resort & Hive Water Park

Stayed as a family, two adults and two children. Vacation was ruined. The pictures on the website don't really match. The room for four was very small, although it was stated otherwise. Under the window, the air conditioners hummed all night, which did not allow the children to sleep. There was no water in the room and you have to buy water at dinner. All furniture and equipment are depreciated, the hotel is a maximum of 3 stars, not 5 as stated on the website. The hotel administrator and staff are not friendly and rude, the request to move us to another room with a surcharge was ignored. Sunbeds by the pool are paid. The water park costs 50 euros per day for a family, the site does not indicate that it is paid, it was unexpected. The hotel is far enough from settlements, there are no sights nearby, you can get somewhere only by taxi. The hotel area is very small.

The hotel has a lovely view and beachfront, but it is not a 5-star hotel. The hotel and the rooms were very substandard and costly. The rooms we were given were not on the website and the waterpark which was promoted as an extra amenity was an additional cost. The lobby of the hotel had extremely ugly decorated full of mismatched furniture. It looks like a charity shop. The common spaces are very hot as there are only portable AC units. The breakfast room is also very hot which made it uncomfortable to stay for long. The breakfast itself had a good selection of things to eat. However, the staff controlled the coffee machines and drinks. They were self-serve-automatic machines, but you had to wait in line for the staff to press the button to then serve it to you. I was told this was to prevent chaos, but it made it feel like you were not trusted. The restaurant staff seemed miserable. Not really 5-star service. We had two rooms, and both were unrenovated and had ugly décor. The furniture was old and the wood was chipped and the doors were hanging off the hinges. The key holder which usually controls the electricity in the room did not work. The AC was stuck on one setting. The seal on the sliding door was broken so the glass was cloudy. The toilet did not flush properly in either room. In one room the hot and cold taps were on the wrong way and in the shower, there were little wires visible. We did our best to spend as little time in the rooms as possible. The beach was great, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The only strange thigs was a few meters from shore there were two lounge chairs and a table submerged in the water. Again, not something I have ever seen in other high-quality hotels. The highlight was on-site beach taverna which was excellent. The food was delicious, and staff were great. I really think that the hotel should be more honest in its marketing and pricing as it clearly needs to work to live up to its 5-star billing.

We arrived 15th of July and stayed here for one week. We lived at one of the junior suite with own pool and sea view. The room was spacious, the bathroom was beautiful and they had good buffet. The reception, housekeeping services and availability and professionalism of the staff were excellent. We always felt seen, and everyone working at the hotel were really friendly. They suprised us with fruits and wine at he pool. During our stay I proposed to my girlfriend and she said yes 💍 If we have to give some critical feedbacks, it would be that the bed is too firm for our taste. You can also hear the other guests talking from the hallway and the outside. Overall we are very satisfied with our stay here :)

Our first time to Thassos and it won’t be the last. Lovely hotel on the seafront. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location of the hotel was amazing. The food was delicious and varied. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again

Wonderful night. Food was AMAZING. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Reasonably priced. Theŕ was a live band playing greek music. Truly magical night. We will define back. Recommend thus restaurant.

My wife and I visited Thassos sept 23 for the 4th time. I did some basic research on the hotel and as we needed a chill break it sounded perfect. We booked after UK kids had gone back to school … however it seems many European schools were still off but hey ho the kids there were fine. We stayed in a superior double room which was modern, clean and as all rooms had, fabulous views over the Agean sea. The downside to the rooms, very little storage space for clothes , wi fi was not the best, and it would be perfect if a kettle was part of the furniture. We had a shower over the bath and the bathroom itself was good. We did have a “flooding “ problem whilst showering but after we reported it on the room tablet, it was sorted immediately. Balcony was also spacious and nice. We stayed half board , there was plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner … I previously read complaints the food wasn’t hot… yes that was true to an extent BUT if food was left out under more heat it would over cook.. swings and roundabouts …. My wife used the indoor gym once but two other women were in there with 6 children..😩..!! The pool area was fabulous but many people used the beach which is right on the doorstep and snap fabulous . Sunbeds and shade are available for hotel guests on the beach and they are very comfortable indeed. I will say one thing though, the “floating” beds by the pool are cheated even to hotel guests at €10 (you do get a coffee or soft drink with that) and I hardly saw those beds used as a result…. Pool towels are provided with a €10 deposit per towel but you can change daily if required. Limenaria is s good 35 minute walk partly on road , the rest along the beaches all the way. Well worth a walk and visit into town as there is very little around the hotel and the hotel shop doesn’t sell much in the way of food items if you want that sort of thing . Staff were all fabulous and helpful… the shive water park is also used at a charge but looks fun for the kids . It IS a lovely clean hotel but don’t expect English type 5 star as you will be disappointed. Greece is minimalistic in many ways but it’s very clean and it’s staff hard working and great. It’s a great place for families and if we went again we would opt fora shared pool room… pool is really impressive and shared by only about 9 rooms… we didn’t utilise meltimi taverna but that’s already well documented in reviews. All in all we enjoyed our stay … oh btw someone described the lobby as looking like a jumble sale… really..??! Our very modern and quirky… they only gave the hotel one or two so don’t really know why tbh..?? It’s a lovely clean modern family hotel and I would take my grand children there in an instant when they are old enough. Thank you to all the staff… if you want to chill in beautiful surroundings this is the place for you ….

The hotel was excellent. Not only because of the facilities such us spa , Blue Bar Pool Beach but also because of the great service. We had a great time at the hotel and spend a lot of time by the sea. The food was really good at the breakfast but our favourite was Tavern Meltemi.

The hotel was great we loved the location it was exactly in front of the sea. The room was cozy we helt like home but also luxurious with privite pool and everything that we need. The breakfast buffet had a variety of food and drinks. We defenetly recommend this place!
