但無論新區老區，天興的房間都可以説是鐵嶺最上檔次的了。酒店位於老區南北向主幹道路西，是鐵嶺人舉辦各類高檔宴會的首選，因此停車位總是很緊張。不過如果住宿的話，晚上（各類宴會散後）還是有車位的，車場工作人員會協調疏導，赴宴或住宿的客人向前台報備車牌號停車免費。作為綜合性酒店，集餐飲 洗浴 住宿於一體。住宿區域很安靜，地毯靜音 燈光柔和 房間隔音很好，幾乎沒有什麼幹擾。房間備品齊全，寢具舒適，房間的洗浴間淋浴盆浴都有。酒店附近即是商圈，各類小吃豐儉由己。交通四通八達，距離兩個高速口（鐵嶺和鐵嶺北）都是一刻鐘左右的車程。

天興酒店在鐵嶺是比較好的酒店了，婚宴辦的比較多，我定的是新裝修的房型，還有飄窗和小茶桌，隔音效果不是特別好，但是環境挺好的。

房間內衞生間設施真的很差，沖淋房非常小轉身都會碰到玻璃。管理混亂，10月7日早晨6點多起床發現熱水龍頭沒有水，打電話給前台説讓我們多放一會兒熱水，告知前台根本沒有熱水怎麼放，然後又來了一個年紀非常大的老奶奶説讓我們多放一會兒熱水，再次給前台打電話，前台説工程部在修鍋爐，二個部門相互不溝通，過了大約15分鐘後熱水來了也不通知我們，可見有多混亂。
