We booked the Ecuador Park through EasyJet, as a package holiday. We booked a deluxe apartment, but unfortunately on arrival were told we had a superior apartment. I showed the guy on reception my booking form, but he said it wasn’t his problem as I booked through EasyJet. He advised me to contact them to sort it out. Whilst I waited for EasyJet to call back, I asked the guy at reception if they actually had any deluxe rooms free for my stay. He said no, which I couldn’t quite comprehend, as he just told me to call EasyJet to fix the issue. I learned over my stay that he really was an awkward guy! Our superior apartment was very basic, but the cleaners did an excellent job throughout our stay. We were on the 3rd floor, which was a bit of a trek with our cases, but it was a good location for a view, and getting sun during the day. The pool area was never that busy, so getting sunbeds was never an issue. All in all it’s a decent place. Rooms could definitely do with a refurb, but we knew that by the reviews, which is why we booked the deluxe room we never got! EasyJet did compensate us for the mistake. With some refurbishment, and staff (one gentleman specifically) that appear to want to be there, this could be a much better place. Good location, about 15-20 minutes walk to Carihuela, and 10 minutes to the marina.
