Terme Tuhelj Hotel Well

Facilities: The hotel offers a variety of amenities, including spacious rooms with balconies, multiple pools, a sauna, and a gym. Guests appreciated the retro touch of the old pools and the excellent cleanliness. The aquapark access directly from the hotel in robes was a highlight.

The hotel is slightly above average, but it leaves a lot to be desired. Uncomfortable beds, just horrible. We stayed at the family appartment which was quite spacious, neat and clean, although we missed a drying rack for wet towels and bathing suits. Food was really average, pasta, rice, no imagination. Selection of meat was slighty better, freshly done. Soups bellow average. Some kids spaces were fun (green net, soft space), but I would recommend it for the kids from 1-8, teenagers were bored. Inside pools horrible, dirty water and our son got diarrhea and he vomited on the last day. Outside pools incredibly overcrowded, especially on Sunday. It was beyond real. Just horrible. Other days slightly better. Staff incredibly polite, fun and friendly. Overall, neat and nice hotel, needs a lot of improvement.

The rooms in no way correspond to a 4* hotel. I am afraid that they are putting Slevomat customers in another wing, which should be marked with a maximum of 3*. The room is extremely small for a family of 4, that could be managed, but there was no balcony and only very small bathroom, so no other way to hang wet bathing suits and towels. After 3 days, we didn't even have a single swimsuit dry. The food was disastrous, every lunch and dinner still the same 4 types of pasta and risotto, which they only rotated between the adults' and children's buffets. The mussels were old and so were some types of ham. When I asked at the reception for an extra bottle of water, saying that I would of course pay for it, I was sent to a gas station or a bar. In the bar, one Mohito cost €7 (the usual tax in tourist facilities), but there was not even a teaspoon of sugar in it and literally 2 mint leaves. From Friday to Sunday, the pools are unusable, the capacity was definitely exceeded many times over. What I appreciated is the equipment prepared for children, especially the lobby green soft zone and the net/tunnel system down the stairs. It is very sad, it could have been a wonderful holiday, the kids were very happy there, but we, parents suffered.
