Nice Hotel at the beach. Not a good beach, a lot of rocks. Quit place. Youtube have to take a taxi from the Hotel, fixed price 500 pesos to tulum. Its very expencive. A bottle of water in the restaurant was 200 pesos, crazy!! Nice service. Varm drinks in the minibar, ask for ice bucket.

I really liked the feeling of being away from people, we rented a car, took it into town which was like 12 minutes to tulum. We checked out cenotes everywhere and when we were tired felt so relaxed coming back to our hotel. The food is good at Alea and surrpunding restaurants i recommend trying them all ! Some.of the best tacos are in the middle of downtown go for a little walk its nice.

Beautiful property with friendly and helpful staff. The restuarant was amazing as was the included breakfast. Nicely located about 7 miles north of Tulum on the the coast, allowing for tranquility but easy access to all Tulum and the area has to offer.

This was a wonderful environment to relax. The only issue was that it seems that hot water in the shower was not always available. The food service was excellent but slow. Also we found that we could dine at other restaurants on the row for some variation. Cost of alcohol was higher than other restaurants...very clean, staff super...even made sandwiches for breakfast when we had to leave at 6:30 am

Had 5 nice days at Alea!
Startet out with an upgrade to the penthouse - so nice!
Great location, nice beach - a little far from the town.
Nice and helpfull staff, with good language skills.
All and all a great stay!

Need to work on the room was moved to 3 room and still stuff weren't working. I literally checked out early because my complaints werent heard. The didn't even want to give a refund for the days i didnt stay

If you are looking for a quiet and simple vacation this is the place. Helpful staff. Location is not easy to rich but get a rental car.

Next day upon arrival we were invited by a mayan shaman to a ceremony. The whole staff was incredibly friendly, we witnessed together the wonderful ceremony, it was an amazing experience! They upgraded our room and we had an incredible view, we were also lucky to bring binoculars and a tripod, so we were able to see the birds closer and we took incredible pictures. The hotel is clean, the food is fantastic, i loved the breakfast chia and avocado bowls. We will surely stay there again. Gracias Alea Tulum ❤️💯
