Cabanas Tulum- Beach Hotel & Spa

Cool place. Felt luxurious without the fuss of a bigger resort. Pool table and games in lounge were great for our teenage boys. And probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had included in any hotel stay (luxury hotels included)! Fredh, healthy and very tasty! Highly recommended.

My two girlfriends and I had a fantastic 6-night stay at Hotel Cabañas in the two queen bed beachfront room with plunge pool. This was our first time visiting Tulum and the hotel’s location was absolutely perfect - the beach was pristine and it was just a short walk to dozens of excellent restaurants. We felt totally safe in the hotel as well as walking around the neighborhood at night. We were pleased that it was quiet, as many of the beach clubs/hotels down the road BLAST loud music all day. Our room was extremely clean and cozy and we were impressed by the very thorough daily housekeeping (they even washed our windows every day!!). The hotel staff also makes an effort to protect the sea turtles by closing off and securing their nesting areas on the beach which we thought we nice. We also very much enjoyed our complimentary breakfast every day at our choice of Ziggys or Frescos just steps away from the hotel which were both incredible. We used the room service a few times as well via WhatsApp which was very convenient. Every single staff member was extremely kind and really seemed to care about making us comfortable and accommodating our needs (special shout outs to Freddy, Antonio, Felipe & Luis - they are the best!!) We also utilized the free spa hydrotherapy every day (sauna, steam room, hot tub & cold plunge) and got massages for an additional cost which were wonderful. We would fully recommend staying here and would love to come again in the future. Thank you Hotel Cabañas!

What a great place! We (husband, 2 adult children) went for my 60th birthday. The location is perfect. The people that work at the hotel are all so nice. The pool and the furniture at the pool was so nice and inviting. The restaurants Ziggy's and Frescos were both so good. We could have breakfast at either restaurant in the morning and that was included. The beds were very comfortable. The spa was awesome. We did do 2 days of treatments which were incredible. Even if you weren't doing a treatment, you could still do the hydrotherapy. We did it every day! Navil and Fredy at the front desk were so nice and helpful. I have been emailing them for so long with questions. They were always responsive and hospitable. We could walk to many locations because the hotel is in a great spot. We went to many restaurants but kept saying that our first dinner at Ziggy's was one of the best. Breakfast at either restaurant was always delicious. You could also swim in the water at the beach although there was a red flag. There was one stormy day, so we stayed out of the water. It is a great place and I highly recommend it!

Cutest rooms ever. We stayed in 2 rooms. One that was facing the pool and the last part of the week we upgraded to ocean view. Both were special in their own way :) can’t go wrong with any room on the resort. Each with a personal dipping pool. Breakfast is great from their cafe in the morning. Fun location. The staff is A++

Just returned from a 5 day stay at Cabanas and I would definitely return. This hotel is so clean and relaxing and a short walk to everything! The staff is friendly and the amenities are great. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was nothing short of amazing! We also enjoyed use of the bikes to explore the area and the spa area was very relaxing!

Fabulous place set in a peaceful environment. Freddy was our concierge,he was super accommodating, welcoming and even helped organize our excursion trips. The hotel was situated a perfect in non-party location , but not too far away from everything either if one wanted to engage in festivities. Staff and room service were fantastic and very accommodating. The food was of excellent quality and very fresh. Drinks were amazing! Overall we had a fantastic worry-free time.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cabanas Tulum Beach Hotel it was the highlight of our Mexican trip. Our room was sweet with the pool just at our back door. The food was to die for we would serious recommend this place as your preferred destination stay simply awesome!!!

If you looking for a beautiful, quiet, beachfront boutique hotel in Tulum book your stay at Cabanas Tulum. This is a wonderful well run hotel. Our room was very clean, nicely appointed and just 20 steps from the gorgeous beach. In addition to their ideal location we also loved the complimentary breakfast at Ziggys and Frescos. The staff and service also exceeded our expectations. Everyone who works there is super nice, helpful and courteous. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Cabanas Tulum to anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful beachfront retreat.

We spent wonderful days in Cabanas Tulum! We loved the place, facilities and all the staff sympathy. The breakfast at Fresco’s is really good. The banana pancakes were delicious. The dinner we had at the Ziggy’s was the best we had in Tulum. We hope to return one day.
