Was taken to Rowley Manor for a birthday afternoon tea. The hotel is an old country house and all the decor is in keeping The tea was lovely with a good selection of sandwiches and cakes all served on bone china. The staff were very welcoming and attentive with offers of more tea as required

We had a lovely two night break in four poster double bedroom.nice and relaxing with great views in lovely location. Continental breakfast both mornings and one evening meal 'a la cart'. The meal was excellent a treo of fish sea bass and salmon and prawns lovely and tasty with nice presentation too. This is our 3rd time visit and recommended. The staff were brilliant and happy smiling and very friendly .which made us so welcome . Will visit again at some point . Thank you for making our visit special.

Visited this stunning 17th century Hotel for afternoon tea, with my mum and husband. We were wowed by the ambience and surroundings and the dining room with its wood panelled walls and historic portraits was quite beautiful. Staff were extremely attentive and gave us the warmest of welcomes and highest level of service throughout. The afternoon tea was amazing, probably amongst the best we have ever had and we have been to eateries all around the country from the Ritz in London, to Carriages in Cambridge and Betty's in York for afternoon tea. The Rowley Manor takes some beating. The fingers sandwiches were delicious, as were the home made sausage and tomato rolls. The freshly baked scones were warm and crumbly with fresh clotted cream and homemade jam. The little cakes and desserts were just heavenly and of the highest quality. Decadence! All for only £20 per head. Its unbelievably good value. Would highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Had a lovely visit to Rowley Manor 15th May. My friend and I enjoyed an excellent Afternoon Tea. The food, china cups and saucers, fresh crisp white tablecloths, service and really lovely Staff, especially Mandy who cared for us was exceptional. The variety of finger sandwiches was lovely and little sausage rolls delicious. If you like cakes then you'll be spoilt, the scones, clotted cream & strawberry preserve delish. The English Tea and Green Tea was unlimited and we finished off with a bottle of Proseco....just perfect. A lovely walk around the Grounds finalised a special afternoon. We are certain to return to try a lunch. Well done Rowley Manor, thank you for a lovely time. 🙂🙋‍♀️

After reading some of the reviews my expectations were pretty low. However the staff were very pleasant and efficient and the Sunday lunch enjoyable. The place is in need of some TLC but that wouldn’t put me returning, maybe to try the afternoon tea which seems very popular.

Daughter (12) and I went for afternoon tea. At quite short notice the helpful and friendly staff put together a great selection of food and went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience. It was a lovely Easter Holiday treat for us both!!

We've just had afternoon tea at Rowley Manor. It was absolutely superb, even better than the last time we went. A lovely lady served us and the service was excellent. She couldn't do enough for us. The food was beautiful and fresh, excellent scones and served with clotted cream. There was so much served that we had to bring cakes and mousse home in a box. Well recommended.
