Mangrove Beach Corendon Curacao All-Inclusive Resort, Curio by Hilton

Definitely not worth 5 stars. • HOTEL: ➕ - clean rooms, - VERY big beds, - very nice and polite staff, - 4 a’la carte restaurants, - concierge: car rental, trips, restaurants reservations, - very good food: varied breakfasts, lunches, dinners. ➖ - you have to wait for fresh towels - even till noon, - the floor by the drink bar by the pool stinks, - slow service at the drink bar, - weak quality of most drinks (not original brands), - weak WiFi signal on the beach, - beach without a lifeguard and there are children, - moldy fruit in dessert (as in the picture). • A’LA CARTE RESTAURANTS: 📣 You need to take a reservation via Concierge to eat in restaurant as above: 1. Ristorante Siciliano (rate: 4/5): We’ve ordered: * SOUP - minestrone soup: it was just ok. * STARTER - bruschette al pomodoro: made with fresh tomato, tasty - insalata caprese: with virgin olive oil, Caribbean sea salt and fresh basil: tasty, soft taste. - carpaccio di manzo: drizzled with virgin olive oil, fresh parmesan cheese and garnished with herb: very tasty, I would recommend this dish!🥇 * PASTA: - penne arrabbiata🌶️: with vegan red chilli hot and spicy tomato sauce: this dish was too spicy. It’s not typical to Italian kitchen. - tagiatelle frutti di mare: made with baby clams, mussels, squid, shrimp in a thick red artabiata sauce: tasty, nice, good frutti to mare sauce. * MAIN COURSES: - gourmet mushrooms risotto: this was the best dish in my opinion🥇, but you didn't feel as much intensive mushrooms taste as you should * DESSERTS: - tiramisu: VERY VERY TASTY!!!🥇 2. Dushi Sushi Club (rate: 5/5): We’ve ordered: • SOUP: - Kenchinjiru Soup: shiitake, carrot, cabbage, tofu, miso, soy sprouts: noticeable very strong fish stock, but this soup was tasty. • SUSHI: - we tool a plate with: * Philadelphia Roll: salmon, cream cheese, cucumber, * California Roll: crab, avocado & tobiko * Salmon Maki: salmon, avocado, wasabi * Origami Maki: spicy salmon, kimchi, sriracha * Cappa Maki: cucumber, carrot, avocado * Tekka Maki Roll: tuna fish * Sake Nigiri: salmon fish * Maguro Nigiri: tuna fish * Ebi Nigiri: shrimp. All were very tasty. My favourites are: all nigiris and Origami Maki - also Philadelphia Roll. Unfortunately we didn’t have space for desserts😛 They also have big selection of wines. Very nice service. 3. Tavern Seafood Restaurant (rate: 5/5) We’ve ordered: • STARTER: - mediterranean fish soup: lime sauce, fresh garden herbs: soup was very tatary but a little bit too salty. • ANTIPASTI: - Beetroot hummus - Baba ganoush - Seafood anti pasti salad All were delicious!👌🏼 • SECOND COURSE: - shrimp tempura: italian rucola, spicy garlic mayonnaise: very very good, you should try it!💥 • MAIN COURSE: - red snapper fillet: oven baked potato, asparagus, baby carrots and butternut squash sauce: this dish was just perfect! The best during our stay!🥇 - grilled Alaska salmon: sauteed begetables with garlic vutter sauce: also very tasty and fresh. • DESSERTS: - c
The Rif at Mangrove Beach Corendon Curacao All-Inclusive, Curio by Hilton

My family and I spent 5 days at The Rif for spring break. The grounds are immaculate, great location. We spent most of the time at the pool at the sister location because the one at the Rif was a bit deep for my daughter. We had an excellent time. Location: Great. Ocean and beach was beautiful. Nice water slides for the kids. Room: Room was good. Enough room for the 3 Of us. We had the ocean/cruise ship view. I wish the top levels of the resort were open (still under construction); the views would’ve been much better being able to really look at the ocean. We were on the 2nd floor. Our housekeeper didn’t do the best job. When we checked into our room, there was a stain on the bathroom floor. I just took a wipe from my purse and cleaned it. That set The precedent for my daily housekeeping. The housekeeper changed the towels, most of the time not leaving a shower rug, emptied the trash can and made the bed daily. My daughter’s cup of hot chocolate apparently left a chocolate ring on the dresser. The housekeeper took the cup but left the ring. I took clean up wipes that I travel with and cleaned the dresser and table daily myself. I looked in the floor and saw that my daughter dropped her pillow and a few raisinettes on the floor by the chair; they were still on the floor when we returned to our room. Food: Overall the food was good. The BBQ and seafood tavern were outstanding. The Red snapper delicious. The food at the pool was okay, the food in the buffet was okay as well. There were times that we had to wait quite a while for the food to be replenished on the buffet. I love all of the self service beverage and wine stations. Drinks: Because I was with my daughter, the cocktails were okay. However wouldn’t okay be for a girlfriends trip. The cocktails were weak and watered down. Unless you go to the smoothie bar, get a frozen smoothie and have them to add a double shot of liquor. Not that I would want to be drunk but maybe a little buzz. But nope that didn’t happen. Also there’s little to no pool service. Occasionally a guy walks around and asks if you want pop but that’s it. If you want a cocktail, get up and get it yourself. Even having a cabana, there’s really no service. Service: Most of the people were friendly and happy. The front desk staff, Raju at the omelette station, the 2 ladies that made my daughter hot chocolate in Mondi’s were outstanding. There were a few of the employees that had scowls on their face and didn’t seem happy to even be there. But that was just a few. Entertainment: Not much resort entertainment. Maybe about 40 minutes at the Mangrove pool And music. The entertainment at night was minimal. If you’re looking for laid back and kid friendly; this is the resort . It’s definitely not for those that want to ‘turn up’.

We went in March this year! 7 nights! This very clean hotel with a very friendly attention (a special mention fortifani) the girl working for the afternoon! He has been specially cared for us just when we arrived! The hotel offers a very rich breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Great room! The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and the hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. The hotel is located at the side of the other Banda, although it seems unsure at night as there are enough locals, nothing happened, we always walk quietly, but it gives a little fear at night. Great greeting and I hope to come back
Renaissance Wind Creek Curacao Resort

First class hotel. We have tried several hotels in Curacao over the past few years. The Renaissance Hotel is, in our opinion, the best of all. As soon as you arrive you are greeted in a very friendly manner. Water is offered immediately. The entrance is friendly and nicely designed. Music is played in the lobby on Friday and Saturday. Dancing desired. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. You like to feel at home. The seawater pool has fine sand and it's like swimming in the sea. There is also a smaller freshwater pool. The food can be taken a la carte or as a buffet. The menu is extensive and, most importantly, it tastes really good and delicious. All of this is made possible by the manager Herbert and the so-called navigators Martesano and Jureschka, the service staff Zayra, Zigraina, Sandra, Francesca, and the visible kitchen staff Martina, Isabel, Paola, Lenny and of course Piet. Geraldine Lai takes care of the billing.
