Service: A huge shout-out to Zizi, the Guest Service Manager at Hotel Indigo Xiamen Harbour, for being incredibly approachable! Her warm welcome made check-in super quick and hassle-free. Environment: I never expected my room to offer three-sided sea views – the scenery was absolutely stunning! Cleanliness: Zizi thoughtfully arranged for a disposable bathtub liner, and a morning soak left me feeling refreshed and energized for the whole day. Amenities: The room also included a welcome fruit platter, and the bathrobes were wonderfully soft and smelled lovely. Overall: A truly fantastic stay! The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Zhongshan Road, making dining incredibly convenient. The front desk staff gave us excellent recommendations for local food, and the security guard was exceptionally friendly. I will definitely return to Hotel Indigo on my next trip to Xiamen!

The hotel offers excellent service and beautiful views. Our butler, Ricky, even created his own incredibly helpful guide to local Xiamen delicacies. Within about a 10-minute walk, there are many trendy spots and even a Michelin-listed wonton shop, which was extremely convenient. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Xiamen! 👍

The hotel boasts an excellent location, with Gulangyu Island directly across Lujiang River. The view from our sea-view room was absolutely stunning, and Zhongshan Road is just a 5-minute walk away. The front desk and welcoming staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We encountered a minor hiccup during check-in, but the hotel staff resolved it very quickly and efficiently. While the facilities aren't the most modern, the room itself was immaculately clean.

I was in Xiamen for a business trip and found the Indigo hotel through a Ctrip search. I had originally booked a sea-view king room, and the front desk team kindly upgraded me. The room I was upgraded to offered a breathtaking 270-degree sea view, which was absolutely magnificent. The breakfast restaurant was also excellent; they offered a wide variety of dishes, and the panoramic view, with Gulangyu Island stretching out before us, was simply superb. Overall, a fantastic accommodation experience.

The facilities are quite good overall, though they are a bit dated and showing some wear and tear. However, everything was perfectly functional during my stay. The cleanliness was excellent; I found absolutely nothing to fault. The hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance to the bustling city center, with plenty of dining options readily available. The sea view from our room was absolutely stunning. The service was outstanding; the staff were polite, friendly, and very prompt in responding to and resolving any issues. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and found the hotel to offer excellent value for money.

When I booked online, only windowless rooms were available. Fortunately, at check-in, a sea-view room with an unbeatable 270-degree panorama became available, so I immediately paid extra to upgrade. The hotel's location is superb, with convenient transport links. It's directly across from the cruise terminal and Gulangyu Island, and Zhongshan Street is just a 200-meter walk away. I watched the sunset right from my bed. The room itself is very spacious, at 50 square meters, and well-equipped with amenities. It even features a fridge, a safe, and an ironing board. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and offered excellent recommendations for local specialty shops and snacks. The lobby's luggage storage service was also a thoughtful touch. You can tell the hotel truly retains its five-star heritage, even if the decor might be a bit dated and the carpets show some wear. But this incredible view alone makes it worth every penny.

Having visited Xiamen multiple times, I was genuinely surprised by just how convenient this hotel's location is. The surrounding area is packed with delicious food options; you just step downstairs and take a few steps, and you'll find plenty without having to search extensively. Service: The front desk staff were exceptional. Ambiance: Comfortable and lively. Cleanliness: It was decent, but there's room for improvement. Facilities: While not top-tier, they were perfectly adequate for our needs.

The provided toiletries were Indigo's signature Yu Long line; they felt great to use and had a wonderful scent. A complimentary minibar was included, though its contents were quite basic. The hairdryer deserves a special mention – it was incredibly effective, and I'm thoroughly impressed to the point of wanting one myself! The location is good, but the property is definitely showing its age. The shower, rather unusually, is designed in the middle of the room. While the room wasn't particularly spacious, it was comfortable enough. My main complaint, however, was the soundproofing, and even the electric curtains made quite a loud noise when operating. The sea view room offered fantastic vistas, and the sunsets were particularly breathtaking. The front desk staff were excellent, patiently and carefully answering all our questions. Overall, I would highly recommend it.

From the moment we stepped out of the car, greeted by the smiling concierge, through the highly efficient check-in at the front desk, and even the warm greetings from the housekeeping staff on our floor – every single staff member was genuinely warm and welcoming. When the in-room USB charging port wasn't working, they promptly sent a robot to deliver a replacement to our room within five minutes. When we inquired about where to buy good local specialties, the front desk staff personally hand-wrote a list of reputable, time-honored local shops. Their service was incredibly thoughtful. The room's decor was also exactly to my taste, featuring a bold and creative color palette that sparked endless imagination.

They proactively called a day before our arrival to inquire about our accommodation needs and expected check-in time, which was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Every single hotel staff member was warm, attentive, and highly professional throughout our stay. **Facilities:** Very well-appointed; everything we could possibly need was available. **Cleanliness:** Spotless. **Ambiance:** Comfortable. **Service:** Five-star! The breakfast was excellent, especially the Shacha noodles which were absolutely delicious! 👍 The surrounding area is also fantastic for exploring on foot, with Zhongshan Road and Bashi Market just a short walk away. 😊 We would definitely choose Indigo again for our next visit.

I especially want to commend Ms. Yvette. Her professionalism and genuine hospitality are a true asset to the hotel. She proactively shared her WeChat contact, checking in daily to ensure everything was going smoothly, and met all our needs with a positive attitude. Our celebration was made truly special thanks to her efforts. Even though I had already booked a cake, Yvette went above and beyond. When we were tired and needed to change the delivery time, she surprisingly went out of her way to personally arrange for another cake at her own expense, delivering it the night before our departure to ensure we could still have our celebration. This 'above and beyond' service truly exemplifies genuine hospitality and a high level of responsibility; this gesture was unforgettable. Additionally, the housekeeping staff on the seventh floor also left a lasting impression. Although we didn't catch her name, we met her every morning. She always greeted us with a smile, initiated friendly conversations, and thoughtfully asked if we needed any assistance. We look forward to staying at your hotel again in the future.

The location is genuinely excellent. The First Pier, which is close to the hotel and offers trips to Gulangyu, only goes to the somewhat remote Neicuo'ao Wharf. However, there are sightseeing cars available upon arrival, so it doesn't cause too much inconvenience. For the return journey, you can disembark at the Ferry Terminal, which is just a short walk back to the hotel. Upon checking in, we saw the sea-view room and promptly decided to upgrade to a top-floor room with a balcony. The view was absolutely stunning, and enjoying a drink there in the evening was simply delightful. The only minor drawback was the slightly narrow ramp connecting the first and second basement levels of the underground parking lot, which required some careful driving. The front desk service was excellent; the staff were very thoughtful, patiently showing us different room options with great enthusiasm.

As an InterContinental hotel, the service certainly lives up to expectations. From the moment I arrived, someone opened the car door, and in the lobby, staff greeted me and assisted with luggage. The lady at reception who handled my check-in was incredibly polite, highly professional, and extremely knowledgeable about both the hotel and the local area. The hotel itself does show its age a bit; the TV was quite small and lacked casting capabilities, and the bedside USB ports were non-functional. Putting these dated facilities aside, the location, views, and service are truly exceptional. I was upgraded to a sea-view room on the highest floor, offering panoramic ocean views from both sides – simply breathtaking. It also featured a wonderfully spacious bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak. All in all, it was a superb stay.

For our last day in Xiamen, we checked into the Indigo Xiamen Harbour. Its location is super convenient, right on Zhongshan Road, with plenty of fantastic food options nearby. We booked a family room, which came well-stocked with amenities. It featured a king bed and a bunk bed, providing ample space for our family. We had a short wait for our room upon arrival, but they kindly arranged one with a fantastic view of the sea and Gulangyu Island. The view was absolutely stunning. What we were most impressed with was the service. The front desk staff were incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive. They promptly addressed any issues and consistently paid attention to our overall stay experience, which was truly heartwarming. It was a perfect stay for our last day, a wonderful end to our Xiamen trip. We'd love to come back if we have the chance.
