The room was clean and the service was good.

Unfussy hotel, decent food, beautiful views. Lovely onsen, although the property was obviously aged and certain parts had peeling paint. Overall a great stay for the price.

Since I was only staying overnight, I didn't spend enough time at the hotel to be able to rate it, but the front desk staff were very friendly and I was able to check in and out smoothly. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. If Kamenoi Hotel is on my next trip, I would definitely like to stay there. Thank you very much.

One thing that bothered me was that the air conditioning display was still on, probably because someone had used it in the summer, and I almost ended up leaving the air conditioning on.
The futon in the tatami room was made of feathers and was warm, but the futon on the bed was cold with only a blanket.
I was bothered by the fact that the built-in bathroom ventilation fan and blinds were black.
One good thing was that the dandan noodles in the middle of the night were delicious. The staff were all very friendly, which was nice. I'd like to come again.

If you don't have a car, it's a long walk to the station.
It's hard to walk up the hill.
The pick-up and drop-off times were also a bit tricky, with morning drop-off being late and pick-up being early.

The quality of the hot spring is quite good. When we asked for the pillow to be replaced because it was not the right height, it was dealt with quite quickly.
The explanation given to us at check-in was insufficient. The other staff member explained things to guests in more detail. It should be explained at the beginning of the guidebook.
There was nothing special to mention except the fried food and hot pot for dinner. There was a wide variety of breakfast options, but most of the hot food was lukewarm and not very tasty. I think they should have made some effort to maintain the temperature.
