The staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, well lit and spacious, breakfast has everything from fruits to noodles, eggs, tea, milk and coffee. They also provide freebies like unlimited water, cold drinks, juices, cookies, coffee and ice creams in the lobby 24x7. Special mention for our superstar Miumiu for arranging all our tickets for the excursions and providing helpful tips. She was always there to help. I booked the Ruke hotel because it looked good on the picture but I have to say if I ever go back to Zhangjiajie I would 100% go back there. This has been my best experience in a hotel so far in any country. Their level of service, hospitality and kindness is absolutely over the charts. Every detail is thought through to give you the best stay ever. Fantastic tailored breakfast, perfect shoeshine and amazing atmosphere, I had an amazing stay there. Their driver, a very nice chatty guy, picked me up at the station and immediately put me in the good mood with his easy manner. Then upon arriving in the hotel I was given welcome tea and biscuits while they did the check in for me and took care of my luggage. Then I was asked what I would like for breakfast and at what time it should be served. No buffet but a huge choice of local delicacies to choose from. And it just went on and on like that throughout my stay. This is by far my best experience and I am ever grateful to the whole staff for their ways. It made me feel very special. Thank you very much !! I don’t even mention the room itself, with a very nice balcony and voice control of all the elements (you have to speak Chinese) and the fact that it’s in walking distance to the Tian Men park entrance downtown.
