The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right in the heart of the city center, making it super convenient for shopping, and it's close to several popular attractions, all within walking distance. No time wasted on navigation at all. The parking lot is huge, so there's no need to worry about finding a space if you're driving. Just remember to navigate to the 107 Convenience Store (Renmin North branch) – the parking lot is directly opposite the hotel, a 2-minute walk away. The rooms have bright windows, so the sunlight coming in every day is incredibly pleasant, and the ventilation is excellent. The Chinese buffet breakfast in the morning is simple but sufficient, with a very homey taste – congee, noodles, one egg per person, baozi, mantou. It's clean and hygienic, perfect for family trips. We were extremely satisfied with our stay! We'll definitely choose this hotel again when we visit Zhaoqing in the future.

This trip to Zhaoqing, I definitely picked the right place to stay! The Haitao Hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The biggest surprise was its location, right in the city center, making it super convenient to visit attractions. It's a 10-minute walk to Paifang Square, so you don't have to rush to catch the evening musical fountain show. Afterwards, a stroll along Star Lake with the evening breeze is incredibly comfortable. If you want to soak in the artistic atmosphere of Zijin Xidi, it's just a short walk away, and you'll pass through Qilou Street on the way, perfect for snapping some retro-style photos. The room itself was impeccable. The ventilation and natural light were amazing; the huge bright windows made the whole space feel exceptionally well-lit. I chose a south-facing room, and I could glimpse a corner of the Song City Wall right from my bed – such a cool touch! The hygiene was meticulous; the bedsheets and duvet covers were spotless and white, and the bathroom was clean with no odors. Every morning, there were two simple buffet breakfasts, offering porridge, pastries, and fruit – healthy and filling. Free bottled water was also provided in the room, which was a thoughtful and practical touch. And parking? No worries at all! There's a free parking lot with over 200 spaces, so you can just pull in and park without circling to find a spot. For such a high-value hotel, I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in Zhaoqing!

We chose a north-facing room, and as soon as we opened the window, we could see the outlines of Beiling Mountain and Seven Star Crags. The morning breeze was incredibly refreshing. The room design is minimalist, but it has everything you need. I particularly loved the large window; the natural light was excellent, and all the windows were bright, so there was no feeling of being cooped up. The hotel also provides free bottled water, and while the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's delicious. Parking is easy with over 200 spaces, so no worries there. It's a top-notch choice for budget-conscious travelers!

While strolling along Zijin Xidi, you can also stop by Baogong Temple, experiencing the blend of historical culture and natural beauty. Shopping is also incredibly convenient, with RT-Mart and CapitaLand Plaza nearby, so you don't have to go out of your way to buy local specialties or daily necessities. The room's ventilation and lighting are excellent, with large windows in every room. In my room, I could feel a refreshing breeze in the morning, so it never felt stuffy. The cleaning was very thorough, and the minimalist decor made the space feel very spacious. The facilities were complete and easy to use. Complimentary bottled water, two buffet breakfasts, and a parking lot with over 200 spaces – the thoughtfulness is a perfect 10!

It's incredibly easy to drop off your shopping bags at the hotel afterwards. The hotel's style after its renovation is fantastic, very luxurious. The rooms are clean and tidy, with great natural light and ventilation. Every room has a large window, so it doesn't feel cramped at all. For just over 70 RMB, it includes a double breakfast – simple but filling. The parking lot is huge, so no worries about finding a spot if you're driving. It's also close to attractions like Paifang Square and the Song City Wall, perfectly balancing sightseeing and shopping. Perfect!

The room was satisfactory and quite spacious. However, there were a lot of mosquitoes in the hallway, and every time I opened the door, some would fly into the room. The lady at the front desk with glasses, who was a bit chubby, was excellent. She was familiar with our routine of renewing our room key, getting water, and meal tickets daily. There was one particularly unhelpful person, though, who asked a lot of questions and made me explain many things, even questioning me. I mean, is it really an issue if I carry two bottles of water when I go out? Renewing my card daily depends on my travel plans and whether I'm going to tourist spots. Why can't I just renew my card day by day? She even asked how many days I intended to stay, implying I was renewing daily. I really wanted to snap at her. Didn't she check the computer? I had already extended my stay multiple times, and it was just a matter of swiping the card; couldn't I do it daily? My biggest dissatisfaction was with the front desk not properly checking my continuous bookings for several days. Around 12 PM, the front desk called to ask if I was extending my stay. Then, around 2 PM, a cleaning lady, without knocking, just swiped her card and tried to enter my room. Luckily, I had the chain lock on. I told the cleaning lady that my order already showed I was staying, so I didn't understand why the front desk called. The cleaning lady said the front desk hadn't informed her and told her I had completely checked out. This was a truly terrible check-in experience. Furthermore, the breakfast wasn't entirely buffet-style; it was semi-buffet. Eggs were limited to one per person. Before 8 AM, there were no vegetables left, and the auntie said she wouldn't cook anymore. Buns were limited to two per person. The congee only had a small amount of cucumber, and sometimes none at all. Basically, the breakfast consisted of rice noodle rolls, rice noodles, limited soy milk, and plain congee.

Every time I come to Zhaoqing, I always stay at this hotel. It's newly renovated and in a great location, convenient for getting anywhere. Downstairs, there are tons of snacks and all sorts of things for sale – really nice.

Great value for money, convenient location, and there's parking available. It's also not too far from the archway.

The room was very spacious and bright, and the shower had great hot water. The facilities were complete and clean. Breakfast was decent. The parking lot is huge but all unpaved dirt roads, and it's a 3-5 minute walk across the street from the hotel.

The room was decent, it had everything we needed, and the bedding was clean. From our room, we could see Pinyun Tower on the city wall, which was a nice bonus. The area around the hotel is quite lively, and it's also pretty close to the Seven-Star Crags Archway.

It's alright, this is my second stay and I'm planning a third, haha. The price is affordable, and most importantly, they offer free breakfast including simple meals like eggs, steamed buns, fried noodles, and pastries. The value for money is just excellent! The round bed room even has a washing machine.

The location is great, right at a crossroads, close to Xinghu Lake and Qilou Old Street, making it very convenient for getting around.

The room was nice, the bed was soft, and the cleanliness was good. The only downside was that the soundproofing wasn't ideal.
