"Stayed here for two nights, traveling to the main places, the museum, the Royal residence, old market and pub street, very convenient.
Lovely staff, polite, contact hotel transfer and car to travel very convenient, inexpensive, delicious food."
"Amazing hotel, breakfast simple but very good, location is just perfect, walking distance from night markets, quality of amenities is lovely, interior design is just beautiful. Only thing I didn't like was bathtub not working, everything else was just perfect, especially attention from staff, they put too much effort to make you feel comfortable. Best hotel in town"
"This hotel is excellent in every way but the staff are the icing on the cake. I received a warm welcome with a glass of fresh orange juice and Mr Meas gave me a personal introduction to the hotel and showed me around and the room. The breakfast is delicious and you could choose from variety of options and open from 6 am until 11 am. Other meals can be provided also. The breakfast lounge is next to the pool and very pleasant environment to start your day. The room was beautiful, spacious with antique wooden furniture. Very clean room and daily cleaning provided. The services provided are excellent and staff are always around to facilitate any of your request and willing to go extra mile to accommodate. The foot massage was very professional and one of the best I have had. The location is not too far and costs about 3 USD for a Tuktuk ride to the centre. Mr Sochea sent me off after my stay with colleagues and throughout the stay I received a more personalized family orientated service I would say. It was sad to leave this hotel. On an additional note, Cambodia is a must see country with full of very friendly and kind people. I had a great time there! I shall return again to this country / hotel and looking forward to staying longer the next time."

"It is relatively close to Siem Reap Night Market, and breakfast for children is charged. The rooftop pool is great. The room facilities are relatively old, probably from a building that has been built for many years, but they are still relatively clean."
"Came with my husband from the Mingyue Hotel for only one night. The check-in time should be two in the afternoon, but the front desk lady was very nice and let us check in immediately. I was also given the choice of two rooms up and down, and finally chose the room upstairs. Although the school next door was a bit noisy, the room was large and the view was beautiful. The lemongrass incense in the room smelled good and there were no mosquitoes. Breakfast was very delicious the next day, check out and car to the airport, it is a car, not a tutu car!"
"The hotel is in a very good location, close to the bar street but not noisy. Outside the hotel, there are restaurants, shops, etc. It is very convenient. The hotel service is also very good, and the central air conditioning is very powerful."
"Great Hotel with free breakfast and huge rooms. All in all a very nice property. Very responsive service. Getting to any tourist spots is zero issue as they can either coordinate the tour for you, or if you want to go it solo there is usually one to three Tuk Tuks parked outside.
(I use the Grab App essentially Uber and Uber Eats in one app)
Pub street is a nice short walk away if you don’t mind the heat.
There is a business across the street that does laundry and they are a beautiful family. Sweet people. They return your laundry folded and wrapped in plastic for you.
Great experience in general and I will stay here again."
"thank you for your kind consideration. it was a great help for our early check-in from our long trip from Vietnam to Cambodia and wanted to see the Angkor wat."
"Quiet in the noisy, good service, and overall satisfaction.
The room details are very good, and the decoration design is almost a bit relative to the price/performance ratio."
"The shower on the upper floor is old and does not have a water heater in the first place, so it is a cold shower. The shower on the lower floor has been renovated and the hot water is stable.
The cleanliness was acceptable, but something smelled so I had to keep the noisy ventilation fan on all the time.
The location was not bad and we could walk to Pub Street. There is a coin laundry and a stylish cafe nearby.
The amenities were minimal and there were plenty of hangers."

Excellent
GGuest UserSala Lodges in the enchanting city of Siem Reap is nothing short of a hidden gem that boasts not only of charming aesthetics but also of exceptional service that made our stay unforgettable. Nestled quietly away, this hotel provided a tranquil retreat that was much needed during our travel.
The service at Sala Lodges was commendable, embodying the true spirit of hospitality. The staff were attentive, approachable, and consistently willing to assist us in organizing our trips around Siem Reap, making the overall experience hassle-free and enjoyable. A special shoutout to the Swiss owners who were genuinely amiable and made us feel warmly welcomed.
As for the accommodations, the rooms in Sala Lodges were a delightful surprise. Each room bore discrete charm with its tasteful decoration, seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary elements. The authentic Khmer old houses are full of charm, yet modern and well preserved.
The hotel’s kitchen offered a menu that might seem simple at a glance but was satisfyingly delightful upon tasting. Every dish we tried was prepared well, with fresh ingredients and flavors that are comforting yet exciting to the palate. The breakfast, in particular, deserves an extra note of praise for being consistently good, providing a delightful start to our days of exploration.
Adding to the hotel’s allure was the inviting swimming pool, serving as a refreshing sanctuary after a day of touring the magical temples and vibrant markets of Siem Reap. During the wet season, the atmosphere around Sala Lodges was even more calming and soothing, with the soft sound of rain providing a comforting backdrop to our stay.
To sum it up, our experience at Sala Lodges was nothing short of magical. From the excellent service to the beautifully appointed rooms and delightful meals, every aspect of the hotel contributed to a stay that was serene, comfortable, and absolutely enjoyable. Whether you’re traveling in the wet season or not, Sala Lodges offers a cosy retreat that will surely enhance your Siem Reap adventure. Highly recommended!
KKhendyIt was my first time staying at The Royal Family Suite by Memoire Palace Resort and Spa and I loved it! I stayed at the Grand Pool Suite, it was luxurious and spacious. 10/10 would recommend. Love the view, room, pool & buffet! Definitely staying there again in the future.
GGuest UserOur family arrived in the late evening, warmly welcomed by the hotel staff with refreshing drinks and a sample of Cambodian snacks.
The genuine hospitality and warmth showered onto us was truly special. The staff were very courteous, attentive to the smallest detail.
Khmer Mansion being more boutique sized was beautifully decorated showcasing some of Cambodia’s heritage.
The food (buffet breakfast and ala carte) was delicious and had a good variety. We couldn’t have asked for a more special mansion to stay at Siem Reap!
AAnonymous UserI like the customer care of the hotel staff. Most of them are friendly and helpful to the customer needs. I like the positive vibes and accomodation provided. Never had a dull moments during my entire stay.
MMARIA CZRI travelled to Siem Reap alone and as a solo female traveller, I cannot stress enough how safe and wonderful my experience was staying at this hotel. Here's some info to consider if you decide to stay here:
1. Service: The best ever! Although, I would say this for absolutely every local I met, such beautiful people. Mr. Key and team certainly deserve 5 stars, very attentive, polite, friendly and hands-on...you made my stay worth every penny. Thank you for your kind hospitality 🙏🏻
2. Facilities: The hotel is beautiful and elegant and has such a peaceful energy as you walk in. The room I stayed in was incredible, squeaky clean, tidy, spacious, harmonious and the bed/pillows felt like a cloud after a long day, it has a mini bar and I don't think I've ever cared much about the robes...but I gotta say, the softest robes ever! Not to mention that I do appreciate that the bed linen, towels and robe smell good and clean. The pool is very clean and surrounded by a well kept garden. There's a gym and the spa service is not to be missed, the masseuse is very skilled, strong yet gentle, I came out of the session feeling refreshed and my skin was so silky, do get the scrub!
3. Breakfast: There's a little cozy restaurant that offers a variety of food. Breakfast is buffet style with a delicious western and local menu to choose from. They also prepare fresh omelettes, yum. The staff in the restaurant are very courteous and friendly, I personally enjoyed talking to Sa and Sokhim.
4. Location/transportation: The hotel is located at about 10mins from the city centre and places of interest like Pub Street and the Markets, and about 20mins from Angkor Wat. They offer free tuk tuk rides and can arrange airport transportation from/to the airport.
My only complaint is that I didn't stay long enough...but that's on me 😁 Oh and because the atmosphere of the hotel is all natural, do expect to see some friendly lizards and other garden pets while walking around the facilities🦎 So, be careful not to hurt them. This is now my go-to place to stay in Siem Reap!
소소 TEverything about this place is top-notch and wonderful! The staff are very friendly, accomodating, and helpful. The rooms are lovely, the pool area is spectacular and the whole place has a very peaceful and welcoming ambiance. The breakfast buffet included a wide variety of delicious foods and we chose to have our evening meal here every night as well. The dinners were delicious and very reasonably priced! I have traveled quite a bit in my lifetime, and Metta Residence and Spa is at the very top of my list of favourite places to stay. I will be back for sure! Thank you so very much!
GGuest UserWe came here for the first part of our Cambodian holiday. The room is comfortable and the hotel was relatively quiet. I thought their breakfast was amazing and it was included with our stay so please don't miss it. Kimsinh was our main contact there and he was helpful the entire time. He helped organize tickets and dinner reservations. The hotel was undergoing renovations so we did not really enjoy that part of it however, We will look forward to checking out the changes when we come back
KKSea 14-Star Luxury Hotel for the Backpacker Price of $40/night!
The first thing you notice about Sokha Palace Siem Reap Hotel is just how pretty it is! The architect, painters, decorators and maintenance staff did a fabulous job (see my photos). The second thing you notice is how delicious the huge buffet is – including free espresso drinks. Third, you notice that the rooms are not only nice but that everything works well (aircon, hot water showers, refrigerator, wifi, and cable TV with news channels from a half dozen countries like CNN). Fourth, it is in a quiet location less than 15 minutes from Angkor Wat, and only a $2 tuktuk ride to Pub Street or anywhere else in Siem Reap.
But then you notice the best part: the outstanding hotel staff. For example, the Front Desk Manager Phyrun personally helped me when I could not make my room keycard work, and even brought me a bucket of ice. Originally I booked five nights during Chinese New Year with Trip.com discounts for $39/night, but he gave me a free upgrade from a garden view double with king bed to a pool view room. I liked it so much I wanted to extend, but the best I could find online was $41/night garden view, $51 for pool view. I asked Phyrun if I could get the upgrade again if I bought the $41 online, and he said no – but he smiled and said he would give it to me for $40/night the Khmer rate instead (normally $50 for barangs like me)!
The restaurant had other examples of great staff. Some days the restaurant is overflowing with several hundred guests, other days only a few dozen. Yet they maintain the quality and personal touch from the egg and soup station, to the bountiful buffet, to the waiters and waitresses that clear the tables. The Restaurant Manager Somedy and his Assistant Manager Chhaiya keep it all flowing smoothly. Even on the busiest day, waitress Chanthla took the time to show my Khmer friend’s elderly stepmom the way they fold the napkins. Today the espresso machine was not working for a while, so Chhaiya offered to have a waiter drive over to the sister hotel to bring me lattes. I repeatedly declined, but was very impressed by the excellent customer service attitude.
So the real beauty of this French chateau style hotel is its employees, including very efficient housekeeping and grounds staff. I checked out the “5-Star” Sokha Resort on the other side of its convention center, but did not like it half as much (especially for 70% more per night). Normally I would be afraid to write a review of a hotel that I like so much, but with 456 rooms I don’t have to worry about it being full. Do yourself a favor and stay here when in Siem Reap.
