Ambience: The room window overlooks a beautiful rice paddy field. The location is quiet at the end of the village, making it convenient for visiting Tang'an. Cleanliness: Clean, no odors. Service: Excellent. The included shuttle service is extremely convenient. Before your arrival, the customer service will provide recommendations for local food and attractions, as well as some travel tips. The breakfast is good, and the coffee is delicious. The first load of minibar items is free. It's a perfect place to relax and unwind; it's very relaxing.

A perfect weekend getaway from the bustling city. Tucked away in the mountainous countryside of Guizhou, Zhaoxing Dong Ethnic Minority Village in only three hour ride via high speed train from Guangzhou. The village is quite developed, offering shuttle service to and from the railway station for 10RMB each way. You can also arrange a private ride for 50RMB into the village. The village entrance fee allows 6 days of access into the village for 80RMB. I chose to stay at the Comfort Zhaoxing Inn next to the canola fields, away from the main attractions for a quieter stay. I can see swallows swooping, bugs chirping, and frogs croaking in the fields. My room has floor to ceiling windows offering great views of the mountains, fields, and rice terraces. Remote villages in the mountains are also visible. The inn is ran by a friendly couple. They offer sumptuous breakfast with generous portions. They picked up and assisted with my luggage at the village shuttle station. The village itself is for pedestrian only. They offer complimentary shuttle services every 15-20 minutes that makes various stops if you don’t feel like walking. It was relaxing to stroll along the river and around the village. Instead of taking a shuttle (20RMB round trip) to the rice terraces of TangAn Village, I took the trail that the locals used for centuries before shuttles were available. The trail was paved, crossing creeks, winding through the mountains and rice fields for 7.5km with an elevation gain of about 1,000 meters. The views were spectacular and the food were amazingly delicious and very affordable. I used Zhaoxing Village as a hub for accessing other remote villages. Shuttle buses offering two departures to Huanggang, Basha ethic villages (about an hour ride). Though if there is not enough passengers, they may cancel the service. My stay was memorable, and I plan to go back when the canola flowers are blooming.

This riverside hotel is incredibly quiet, clean, and cozy. The views from the balcony are absolutely stunning, especially the breathtaking night scene. It's only a two-minute walk to the Old Town Pedestrian Street, which is super convenient. Qinglong Cave Scenic Area is directly across from the balcony, just a short walk over a bridge, making it very accessible.

It was already late when we arrived at the Dong Village. A friend recommended this B&B to me. She said the owner was very nice. The B&B was inside the village and the environment was very nice and clean. When you book a room, they also give you clothes for taking photos and handmade cards. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry to go home and didn't have time to do any handicrafts.

The view from halfway up the mountain was absolutely stunning. Everyone at the guesthouse was incredibly kind, doing their best to meet guests' needs and offering various forms of assistance. Even though it was past mealtime when we checked in, they still cooked a single meal. For those of us who prefer a relaxed trip, we booked dinner at the guesthouse; it was home-style cooking, reasonably priced, and quite delicious. The kitchen was also visibly clean. Breakfast had a slightly limited selection, but they did have noodles, which were pretty good. Non-instant coffee could be ordered separately. Overall, it was perfect for a laid-back, relaxing vacation. Unfortunately, my itinerary was also quite relaxed and casual; I only stayed one night. I had already booked hotels for the following days, otherwise I really wanted to stay longer.

The kid 小李 is really helpful. At first I was given a room that was at the adjacent tower and it was under renovation and dark hall ways and stairs. I asked if there was any room in the main block. After feeling disappointed for. While in the room, about 20 mins later, Xiao li informed me he spoke to his boss and gave me an upgraded room on the third floor and we moved. It was a far better well lit, big room with two double beds and good lighting. The only setbacks is that the shower drain is slow and water overflows back into the room. Hot shower was great. There’s no lift but xiao li was very eager to help me carry both my cases. He was just awesome with his willingness and customer service. Final the projector acreen over hangs the toilet and show cubicles and the power cables were loosely overhanging. Seemed that something can be done to rectify those few matters and will definitely make the room so so much better. Location wise is perfect and there is also the direct bus services to the city and the railway station, at very cheap price.

The location is excellent, right at the No. 4 covered bridge, offering fantastic views, especially at night. You can take a sightseeing bus from the No. 1 covered bridge to the viewing platform, saving you the trouble of carrying your luggage up the mountain.

Thanks to Trip.com for this wonderful hotel. All of us (4 pax) LOVED this hotel. Very strategically located amongst food centers, shops and local activities. Views from this hotel is fantastic...accentuated by the river and lights at night. Again, our stays exceeded the HIGH 5 Star ratings.... Ms Chen, Manager of the hotel is EXTREMELY helpful and resourceful in giving valuable suggestions thus making our stay, a delightful vacation. The geographical environment of the hotel is superior, just two or three hundred places from the ticket gate of Shuanghedong Scenic Area, you can run early in the morning. The surrounding scenery is really comfortable! The parking lot uncle, the hotel receptionist, the restaurant waiter are very good and very enthusiastic, this point is a compliment! The hotel's facilities are indeed old. The faucet of the sink is swayed over and can't be fixed. The reel shelf for toilet paper is rotten directly. It is good to put toilet paper on the toilet. The ground is floor tiles, wet, slippery, easy to slip, this must be paid attention to, especially the elderly slippery is a fracture. To be honest, more than 1,000 room rates, if you look at the room facilities, I think it is worth more than 200! Breakfast is very good, that is, there is almost nothing to eat at nine o'clock, the sauce meat is delicious. Because of the geographical advantage of the hotel, I think the price is more than 500! More than a thousand still have to do a good job of accommodation facilities!

The hotel room was very clean, and you could see the night view of the Miao village from the window, which was absolutely stunning. The butler service was also very friendly and attentive, and they even helped with laundry. A really great stay!
