FUGA STAY, true to the meaning of its name “fuga” (elegance and serenity), is a refined and peaceful hideaway tucked within the heart of Kyoto. I personally love hotels that are hidden away from the main road yet still extremely convenient—just a 3 to 5-minute walk from Omiya Subway Station and numerous Kyoto city bus stops. If you’re into cycling or using e-scooters, there’s a Luup rental station right in front of the hotel. The room is spacious and very comfortable for a solo traveler. It comes with two double beds that you can easily move together to form a super king-size bed. The bathroom is also large, with no sense of tightness. The front desk staff speaks Japanese and Chinese, so communication is smooth and easy. Honestly, I’m hesitant to praise FUGA too much—if too many people discover it, the price might go up! P.S. Just around the corner is Tendō Shrine, only a 2-minute walk away. It felt like a beautiful encounter by fate. FUGA STAYは、その名の通り「風雅」で、賑やかな場所の中にありながらも静かで、控えめで上品な空間です。 大通りに面していないホテルが好きな私にとって、ここは理想的な立地です。徒歩3〜5分で大宮駅や京都市内の多数のバス停にアクセスできます。 自転車や電動キックボードが好きな方には、目の前にLuupのステーションがあってとても便利です。 部屋は広く、一人で泊まってもとても快適です。ダブルベッドが2台あり、自分で簡単に動かして、特大キングサイズベッドのように使うことができます。トイレも広々としていて、窮屈さは感じません。 フロントでは日本語と中国語（漢語）が通じるので、安心して滞在できます。 正直、あまり褒めすぎたくないです…人気が出て値上がりしそうで（笑） P.S. すぐ近くの路地に「天道神社」があり、徒歩2分ほどです。素敵なご縁を感じました。 FUGA STAY，如同其名字「風雅」一般，是一處鬧中取靜、低調而優雅的住宿空間。 我特別喜歡這種不在主幹道上、卻又交通便利的飯店——步行3到5分鐘即可抵達地鐵大宮站與眾多京都市巴士站點。 如果你喜歡騎單車或滑板車，門口就有Luup的租借點，非常方便。 房間空間寬敞，一個人住起來非常舒適，因為配置了兩張雙人床（可以輕鬆地自行移動，變成超級大king size）；廁所空間也很大，毫無壓迫感。 前台服務人員通曉日語與漢語，溝通無障礙。 說真的，我不太想過度讚美FUGA，因為怕太多人知道之後價格會上漲（笑） P.S. 小巷轉角就有一間「天道神社」，走路約2分鐘，非常有緣。

Kinda upset that the cabinet is full and there’s no place to hang my clothes. The cushions on the tatami has lots of stains which feels so dirty. It makes me wonder if the curtains are clean too. The staff at the reception that I met only understands Japanese, it’s challenging to communicate and I have to keep using a translator which is a hassle. I forgot my keys on one of the nights and couldn’t dial through any of the numbers that is on the window of the reception. Stood there for approximately 20 minutes then I tried to check if I can send a message instead. I felt devastated. Perhaps a phone can be placed outside so that guests can use it to call when there is an emergency? Thankfully I could send an iMessage using iPhone and the staff came to assist with opening the door for me in about 15 minutes which is pretty quick.

Loved this cozy and delightful capsule hostel. It’s just north of Nijo Castle and about a 15 min walk to the closest subway station. (Local not a JR Station) It’s about a 15 min walk from the Kyoto Palace and Gardens - just continue down the main road that fronts the premises. The deluxe cabin rooms are tucked away in the Basement level for additional quiet and privacy. There are multiple floors with capsule beds and shared bathroom facilities. There’s a laundry and common room on the 6th floor. Guests can grab all their essentials from the Family Mart or 7-Eleven just a 3 mins stroll from the front door. They also have ATMs and copying facilities. The staff are helpful and can speak reasonably good English. There is a wall of maps for major attractions close by. Loved the experience and will gladly recommend and return

The space is enough to open two suitcases. It's OK. The public space is large and there are free instant noodles and popsicles to eat at night There is a dedicated luggage storage area where you can lock your own luggage

It's similar to a Japanese economy hotel. It's quite small. It's very close to JR Nijo Station, and you can see it when you get out of the station. It is also very close to the subway station. There is a bakery, restaurant, and convenience store at the door, which is super convenient. This station is also beautiful, with cherry trees at the entrance of the station. Close to Nijo Castle, about 10 minutes on foot to Nijo Castle.

In short, I redeemed the Ctrip voucher for accommodation, so the price/performance ratio is very high. The advantage is that it is very close to Kiyomizu Temple and Kamogawa River. It is very convenient to walk. The check-in front desk staff can provide Chinese services and communication is easy. The room is large and the hygiene is OK. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and drinking water and other facilities are complete. The disadvantage is that there is noise interference in the room. The soundproofing of the building is poor. The air conditioner's outdoor unit will be louder. When it rains, there will be noise when rainwater drips onto the ceiling next to it. If you are a light sleeper, there may be various noise interference.

Not very far from Kyoto Station, less than ten minutes walk with the baby. The family room, two single beds, two tatami mats, the room is large, the children like to sleep on tatami. The facilities are very complete, everything is available, water dispenser, ice cubes, microwave oven, coin washing machine. Ten minutes walk to Meikoji Park, you can go to the Kyoto Aquarium and Kyoto Railway Museum. There are also children's rides in the park. It is to go to the attractions and Kawaramachi to take the bus or go to Kyoto Station by car, take a taxi to Takashimaya 1700 yen, it is a place to live again.

В 10 утра в день заселения на почту приходит ПОДРОБНАЯ инструкция, с кодом от входной двери и с кодом от номера, для получения карт-ключей. Завтраков в отеле нет. Минусы: очень грязно, мало света, нет уборки номеров, нет воды в номере

The reception lady was very warm and thoughtful. She personally took me into the room and taught me how to use some facilities. I booked the cheapest room with a public bathroom, but I was given a private bathroom, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was very large and divided into three areas: bathroom, lobby, and bedroom. I stayed there for two days, and it was not like other Japanese hotels that didn't clean. The bedding in the bedroom was very clean and I slept very comfortably. Their bath and shampoo sets were from the DHC brand. On the day of check-out, the lady bowed again to say goodbye. The Japanese service spirit was very useful to me as a foreigner.
