Great location with Free parking for our car. Very professional and friendly front desk. Magnificent stunning view surrounding the ocean. Love the Rooftop restaurant up at level 17 which is the same building with our hotel room, so convenient. Fun to spend sometime in the ****** which is just in the ground floor of the hotel. Everything is within hands reach.

You can tell a lot about a motel by the toilet paper they use, and this place had soft but strong paper in place, so off to a good start. This place isn't going to win any style awards any time soon, but it doesn't need to - it's a place to sleep, with good ckean sheets and a comfy mattress. It does what it says on the tin and is solid affordable accommodation.

The staff was very friendly and kindly explained where to go on the trip! Thanks to them, I was able to see the surroundings well.

We spent one night here. The location is great as it is close to the airport, just a 15-minute drive from the hotel. The building and its interior are quite old. One thing that bothers me is that they didn’t change the toilet paper, which gives an impression that the hotel doesn’t emphasize much on hygiene. It’s a place to stay at if you are on a budget.

The hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. Beautiful surroundings of the hotel

Very happy with my stay at Movenpick hobart from 18-21/01/25 (Sat to Tue) for AU$606 - the rate (20% off for diamond tier) is even better than their end of year sale via official website as an ACCOR member (15% off) Since other's reviews of classic rooms seem depressing as there is no view at all.....thus I booked a superior room with city view. However being allocated to room 403 on the 4/F .....instead of full length windows as per promotional pics.....my window is relatively less impressive. Also there is a high pitch wheezing sound from the corridor......but the sound has gone once we open our door..... hopefully I can have a better room above 5/F next time. Chocolate hours and the day bed in the room are something that we liked most, not much interaction with staff so hard on their hospitality....but on the day of check in around 3pm, a cleaning staff just entered and shocked to see us inside. She thought the room needs to be clean hopefully not making her scared

We spent a cozy a night. Spacious, clean and adequately equipped. Beds are particularly comfortable! The receptionists were particularly helpful with bookings. An easy 1.5km to the city centre and harbour area.

THE FRONTDESK STAFF IS HELPFUL AND EXPLAIN THE RESTAURANT CLEARLY. THE BREAKFAST IS GOOD. THE BATHROOM SHOWER IS STRONG JUST TO RELAX THE TIRED ON SHOULDER AND BACK. HOTEL LOCATION IS NEAR THE SHOPPING CENTRE WHICH IS AROUND 15 MINUTES WALK, AS WELL AS NEAR THE SEAFOOD RESTAURANT.

Parking is free. The front desk left the key in the mailbox after get off work on the day I arrived. The room is large, it is convenient to eat downstairs, and Coles and WWS are very close. But there are no slippers and shower gel. We brought our own toothbrushes, toothpaste, disposable slippers, etc., but they were basically used up after playing in Australia for ten days. It is convenient to buy shower gel and toothpaste in the supermarket, but you must pay attention to the fact that you can't buy slippers! Tasmania is fun and the self-driving experience is great!

The hotel is strategically located, but has a long history. The facilities in the room are outdated. The bed is already collapsed. The air conditioner is facing the bed. Will not book again in the future. Just put a picture of a carpet!
