"One of the best locations in Tianjin. Check-in was smooth, and I was even granted an early check-in, which was much appreciated. Prior to my stay, I contacted Duty Manager Viola via email, and she arranged an excellent room for us. Great service even before arrival. The room itself was comfortable, though it was slightly warm as there was no air conditioning. During my stay, Tianjin’s weather was getting hotter, which did affect my sleep a little. The fan was not available during my stay and they could only open the windows. Breakfast was decent overall. The manager at the breakfast restaurant was attentive and frequently topped up drinks, which made the experience more pleasant, though the food selection was just average. I opted to pay for an upgrade to an executive room with executive lounge benefits during check-in. This included happy hour and free-flow drinks. Betty and Tuski at the lounge provided great service and were very attentive to our needs, making the experience more enjoyable. Overall, it was a good stay at a reasonable price in a great location. I look forward to returning again soon."

"Ibis Hotel at Jinwan Plaza Located right outside Exit D of Jinwan Plaza Station on Line 3. Although the map might suggest a short walk to the subway, it's actually practically zero distance, maybe not even 10 meters! Anyone traveling with luggage will understand how invaluable this is!!! It's just one subway stop to Tianjin Station, and you can even walk to the Century Clock from there. It's also super convenient for visiting other nearby attractions, and you don't even need to transfer to get to Tianjin South Railway Station."

"The location is superb, facing the Haihe River, with a garden across the road behind it, and the Ritz-Carlton on one side of the garden. From the hotel, it's about a 20-minute walk to Da Kuo Seafood and Kiessling Restaurant, one for seafood and the other for Western cuisine, both renowned in Tianjin. Across the road from Kiessling is Xiaobailou (White House). From Xiaobailou, heading north, you'll find Wudadao (Five Avenues), with numerous century-old Western-style buildings all around. In the evening, a stroll along the Haihe River is delightful – with twinkling lights, a gentle breeze, the quiet flow of the river, and gulls soaring over the water. It's truly enjoyable! The Astor Hotel has a history of 163 years, with Sun Yat-sen, Zhou Enlai, Puyi, Wanrong, and many other famous figures having stayed or visited. The grand hotel also boasts a considerable museum with many old artifacts, well worth seeing. The interior of the hotel is very well-designed. Guests can also enjoy a complimentary photoshoot with a few photos in Republican-era style makeup, and anywhere you stand makes for a great shot. The room is grand, the bathroom is huge and has a bathtub where you can set up a pad to watch shows while soaking – they've really thought of everything for their guests. Although the room rate was expensive during the Spring Festival, it was still excellent value. I suggest staying on weekdays for even better value for money."

"This was my second stay here, and it was just as great as the first. First off, the location is fantastic – really easy to get to, right by the Hai River with beautiful views. Many attractions are within walking distance. Second, they have plenty of parking, both above and underground. Third, the restaurant downstairs is delicious; I go every time, though it does get busy, so you might have a wait if you go too late. Fourth, the hotel is clean and well-maintained, and the room layout and amenities are excellent. Fifth, the breakfast is very good, and the staff provide great service. Overall, it's excellent value for money."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right across from the entrance to the Italian Style Street, next to the Haihe River. The surrounding area has plenty of amenities, and there's even free parking. I brought my family here for a stay before the New Year and overall, we were quite satisfied. The only minor issue was with the laundry room; the equipment might have had a malfunction as the spin cycle wasn't working, meaning washed clothes couldn't be directly dried. I hope they can increase the frequency of equipment maintenance."

"For our family's Tianjin trip during the Spring Festival, we decided to try out this newly opened hotel. Its location is absolutely central, and we went in with a 'blind box' attitude, eager to experience it. The guest rooms are on incredibly high floors, from the 47th to the 50th, with breakfast served on the 51st. It’s perfect for those who love high-altitude views. Unfortunately, it was cloudy for the entire three days and two nights of our stay, so the visibility wasn't great. However, the night light show was still quite impressive. It starts around 6:30 PM (I didn't catch the end time), with all the surrounding high-rises lighting up in unison – it felt almost like Manhattan! The twin rooms on the 50th floor can be combined, but they are limited. Once combined, they are incredibly spacious and comfortable. For an adult with two kids over seven, sleeping was completely stress-free. The beds had a decent firmness. Given Hampton’s focus on business travel, I expected nothing less in terms of comfort. The shower water pressure was good, with plenty of hot water. The toothbrushes and disposable slippers were thoughtfully categorized as 'A' and 'B'. However, the toilet isn't smart, so those accustomed to heated seats might need a slight adjustment. The towels were clearly new, wonderfully soft and fluffy, and the custom logo definitely enhanced the brand's style. On the other hand, some of the bedding linen, especially the pillowcases, seemed to be reused. My pillowcase, in particular, showed signs of wear and tear. I hope the hotel will update these in the future. Some of the room's design details were excellent. For instance, after turning off all the lights, the toilet has a nightlight, which is very convenient for elderly guests and children who need to use the restroom at night. There's also a nightlight and a spotlight that you can easily find even with your eyes closed. Each room has a small sofa equipped with an eye-friendly desk lamp. Next to the TV, there's a magnetic board with four fridge magnets – I wonder where I can buy these souvenirs? The complimentary water was JingTian brand, which is a noticeable upgrade in quality. The TV was convenient for watching news, which was a plus for us traveling with older family members. The breakfast was standard, nothing extraordinary, but I personally felt it offered good value for money, aligning well with the Hampton brand. The biggest takeaway from this experience was the hotel's prime location. The Italian Style Street, Five Avenues, and all the famous core areas of Tianjin are nearby. We just parked our car in the underground garage, and our family seamlessly transitioned into city walk mode without any hassle. The garage height is 2 meters, so even a Tall Mountain 8 (a type of SUV) would fit without issues. There are charging stations at Maoye Plaza and nearby, which is very convenient. The hotel lobby lounge area is spacious and offers tea and biscuits. There were quite a few guests, especially families with children. During our stay, the soundproofing was decent, and we didn't experience much disturbance. The building's main lobby has a 7-Eleven, a Luckin Coffee, and a lottery ticket vendor, all very convenient. The room service was excellent. The housekeeping staff would proactively ask if we needed anything cleaned or replenished if they saw us heading out. They were also generous with bottled water refills, which is great because the central air conditioning can make the room dry – staying hydrated is important. It seems their hotel robots are among the busiest! The front desk service also left a deep impression on me. I booked quite early and had a special request for two rooms with combined beds. The front desk contacted me before check-in, and even on the second day, when a room became available, they asked if I wanted to switch. I was touched that they remembered such a small note, especially during the busiest Spring Festival period. It made our whole family feel very warm and cared for. Thanks to this hotel, our family's Spring Festival holiday ended perfectly. I highly recommend this hotel as a base for families looking to explore Tianjin."

"I came to Tianjin for Huang Xiaoyun's concert and stumbled upon this hotel, which is super close to the venue. After the show, I was able to lie down in bed within 5 minutes. The room was clean and tidy, spacious, with a huge bed, fully smart facilities, and well-equipped. The front desk offered hot tea and coffee, and even gave me a beautiful glow stick when I checked in. At checkout, they thoughtfully provided warm bottled water. For breakfast, they had freshly made beef noodles and wontons."

"Upon arrival, I was told check-in wasn't until 3 PM, so I had to wait. (Given that check-out is at 12 PM, I assume they're understaffed, which can make rebooking here less appealing). After about 20 minutes, I was getting a bit anxious as I had plans for the afternoon. A lovely front desk agent expedited my check-in and even upgraded me to a room with an amazing view. The hotel's window views are unbeatable, and getting around is very convenient. The hotel robot delivery service is a great touch, and breakfast was plentiful. The only minor issue was the bedside lamp control switch; it's quite bright at night, which disturbed my sleep. Overall, I recommend this hotel."

"Just a few hundred meters from the subway station, it's an easy walk to Jinwan Square, the Italian Style Street, and the Porcelain House. The front desk staff, both the young ladies and gentlemen, are all so gentle and kind. The housekeeping team does a fantastic job; anyone who appreciates cleanliness will feel right at home and very comfortable. They pay attention to all the little details, anticipating guests' needs. You'll find facial towels, mouthwash, a heated drying rack, and a toilet brush. Plus, a full set of Herborist toiletries. The breakfast is abundant, and the fruits, especially, are wonderfully sweet."
