Benben is a beautiful place and the service is top notch. Why the 3 stars? Our room jacuzzi was way too hot to enter. On the first day they send someone over who added cold water so we could enjoy it. Then on the second day as we are coming back from our day trip and want to relax, we find out our jacuzzi is again way too hot. It’s not fun to wait for them to fix this issue when we want to go in right now and not in an hour or so. Also as a 5 stars hotel, the hot water kept running out in our shower after 15 minutes which is quite crazy. It shouldn’t be like this. Or else we loved everything. The food is really good, and as I said the staff/service is amazing.

This is a very contradictory B&B hotel that I don't know if it is worth recommending. Its shortcomings and advantages are very prominent. It is suitable for Internet celebrities to make photos (the following photos are all original photos without retouching), but it is not suitable for anyone who has certain requirements for ”accommodation” itself. If you can find any cheap + clean + similar scenery alternative hotel, it is recommended to change it, but if it is just for taking pictures and scenery, it may be ranked at the top in Nubian Village. First of all, you have to be able to tolerate: 1. The hotel price is not cost-effective in the peak season, and the B&B offers the price of a five-star hotel. 2. Poor room facilities, rough-style furniture and narrow rooms, worrying bed sheets, bathroom shower water overflowing and drainage is useless, no slippers, toothbrushes, hair dryers (phone front desk can provide). 3. The balcony of the room can see the unbeatable sunrise on the west bank of the Nile. We witnessed the first light of 2025 here at 6 am. 2. The various poses in the cultural buildings of the Nubian Village are very photogenic. 3. The desert next to the hotel is very photogenic. 4. A very special cultural experience of a group of tourists jumping up and down the mountain in a row of three-wheeled vehicles. 5. The hotel service staff is relatively friendly. Finally, it is explained that Egypt is not a country where tipping is allowed. Carrying luggage is a basic service of any hotel in their country. No one asked for tips during the entire stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ekadolli Nubian guesthouse. As we had to leave early, the host kindly prepared a take-away breakfast, which was very thoughtful. During our stay, we were also taken on a free tour of the Nubian village, giving us a great insight into local life and culture. We even had the chance to see crocodiles, which made the experience truly unique and memorable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we felt well looked after throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic Nubian experience.

The hotel itself is incredibly colorful: bright Nubian colors, ornaments, and distinctive design – it's a feast for the eyes and creates a great mood. The common area is decorated with immense love – it's pleasant to sit there for hours, chatting or reading a book. But the main treasure of this hotel is the staff. Very, very friendly people, always ready to help. I especially want to mention the owner – he's a true host who cares for every guest as if they were family. It's interesting to talk to him; he'll tell you everything about the culture and give sound advice. And, of course, the food – that's a separate art form. Everything is incredibly delicious and very filling. The breakfasts were so hearty that we had enough energy until evening. Be sure to try their fresh juices and Nubian tea – it's divine, and the coffee is excellent too. The only nuance to consider is the internet. It's not the most powerful, but you certainly can't call it weak. We worked remotely, video calls went without serious issues, and email and messengers worked perfectly. So, it was perfectly adequate for remote work. I would return here with great pleasure. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

This hotel is really old and definitely not worth the price. We stayed in Luxor for the same price and it was much, much better. The room was tiny; it was hard to move around after putting down two suitcases. It was supposed to be a 1.5m bed, but they put a 1.8m mattress on it, so if you sleep too close to the edge, it sags... The toilet leaked all night, and the air conditioning barely cooled the room.

The hotel is located on a hillside, and there were packs of stray dogs on the road leading up to it. Overall, the hotel's decor is actually quite decent, but the rooms are more like guesthouse standard, especially the bathroom. The bath towels felt like they'd seen better days, I'd suggest bringing your own disposable ones. Other bedding seemed clean enough. The biggest issue, though, was the water – whether it was in the bathroom or for the coffee at breakfast, it had a very strong, unpleasant odor. It's about an 8-minute walk to the Old Waterfall Hotel and the Carrefour Chinese restaurant, which is fairly convenient.

Located about a 20-minute drive from Aswan city center, the entrance is small and difficult to find at night due to its remote location, making it suitable for those driving themselves or traveling in groups. However, it takes 30 minutes longer to get to Abu Simbel compared to staying in the city! When checking in, a girl who arrived by taxi said she paid the driver upon arrival, but he denied it, claiming he hadn't paid. After much arguing, she finally paid. Please be careful when paying! We encountered the same issue the next day when taking a horse-drawn carriage! The child in the red shirt and his father in picture two were the carriage drivers who tricked us into paying again! Picture three shows a restaurant serving delicious and inexpensive local food! The sailboat tour is located at the dock after the park! The buildings are constructed on a hillside by the river, indicating a significant investment! They are all terraced houses with no elevators. The first floor has a lobby, while the second and third floors only have beds and bathrooms in the rooms. During our stay in February, there were mosquitoes, so we brought our own mosquito repellent! Some guests arrive as early as 4 or 5 AM, which significantly disrupts our rest! Overall, it's quieter and cleaner than the city! The breakfast is okay, but there's not much to choose from!

The view from the room overlooking the Nile is phenomenal and it's absolutely worth staying in Nubian Village instead of Aswan. We were warmly welcomed by the owner's mother. The room was clean and nice, only the bathroom was very small with the shower head almost directly over the toilet, otherwise everything was great. Breakfast was good and the staff were always helpful. We can highly recommend the free tour from Nubian Village, it was very interesting. WhatsApp replies could be a bit quicker, otherwise a great place to stay and fantastic hosts.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel during my stay in Egypt. The room itself was nice, spacious, clean, and featured a big, comfortable bed. The bathroom was fully stocked with fresh towels and all necessary amenities like shower gel, shampoo, and soap.However, the layout of the hotel is very strange and offers no privacy. While you can catch a glimpse of the river if you step onto the balcony and look to the side, your direct view is another guest's room and balcony. We could see directly into each other's spaces, forcing me to keep my curtains closed the entire time.I tried the breakfast buffet on my second day. It had a good variety, and the restaurant offers an absolutely amazing view of the river. There was an egg station, though no staff member was manning it at the time. The hotel seemed very quiet, as I only saw two other guests.Overall, it is not a bad hotel, but I would choose a different one next time solely because of the room's view and lack of privacy.

We had an incredible experience at this wellness resort. The hotel rooms are stunning, but it’s the view that really steals the show—there’s nothing like watching the sun set over the Nile from your own space. The service was top-notch; the staff were attentive and made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. We also loved the dining experience; eating at the restaurant right on the water was a highlight, and the food quality was excellent. Our only regret is not booking a longer stay! We’re already planning our return trip.
