This hotel is right inside the airport, making it super convenient to get to from T4 – no need to even leave the airport. The decor has a cool 'backrooms' vibe, which I found quite interesting. I booked a twin room; it was small, but perfectly acceptable for one night. The heating worked very well, soundproofing was excellent, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good.
My first time staying in a capsule and I would highly recommend especially if you are on a budget.
Each set of capsules are in their own room that can only be accessed by your electronic key, the toilet/shower area is a big area and very clean.
When I arrived there were loads of people checking in but I barely bumped into anyone, especially when using the communal areas.
There’s always someone on hand at the check in area to help and security on site (who were very friendly).
The capsule itself had enough room to sit up in and the bed was comfy. There was also a dimmer light and an extractor fan to keep the capsule ventilated.
Hooks were provided within the capsule to hang up backpacks and jackets, etc and you could lock it from the inside and attach a padlock to the outside too for when you were out.
The hotel is 1km from the metro station. For groups of two or more, it's better to take a taxi to the metro as the cost is almost the same as taking the bus for two stops. It's also quite close to the airport. The room itself is pretty good.

I stayed with my two children for 5 nights, and while we were generally satisfied, the pros and cons of the accommodation were quite evident.
**Pros:**
1. The apartment offered a two-room layout, which was ideal for a family of 3-4.
2. Having a kitchen and a washing machine was incredibly convenient for cooking and doing laundry – a real lifesaver!
3. There was a supermarket right downstairs, making grocery shopping incredibly easy.
4. It was a 10-minute walk from South Kensington tube station – a manageable distance, neither too close nor too far.
5. Both the Natural History Museum and the V&A Museum were very close, just a 10-minute walk away.
6. There were also Chinese restaurants within a 10-minute walk.
**Cons:**
1. There was no air conditioning in summer, only a single fan.
2. Our 4th-floor room was west-facing, so it got direct afternoon sun and was stiflingly hot, making it difficult to sleep at night. We also didn't dare open the windows on the 4th floor due to security concerns.
3. The elevators were few and small, so we mostly relied on the stairs unless we had heavy luggage.
4. The walk from the elevator to our room felt incredibly long, easily 500 meters.
And for all this, the hotel still cost over 2000 a night. In general, hotels in the UK are far inferior to those in the US – overpriced and often quite run-down. For the same price in America, you could easily stay in a 4 or 5-star hotel, or a truly excellent guesthouse.
I stayed at this hotel recently and I was very happy with the location. The hotel is very close to the airport, which made my trip much easier. The transportation around the hotel is very convenient. Right at the front door, there is a bus stop. From there, you can take a bus directly to the airport or to the subway station. This is very helpful for travelers who want to move quickly without spending too much money on taxis.
The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and ready to help with any questions. My room was simple but had everything I needed for a short stay. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere even though it was near the airport. I could rest well before my flight.
Overall, I think this hotel is a great choice for people who want easy access to the airport and public transport. If you are looking for convenience and comfort, this hotel is a very good option. I would stay here again on my next trip.
Teething troubles is the theme of this stay. Staff were lovely and friendly. This hotel used to be the Hilton Doubletree so the rooms are Hilton Doubletree standard, but it's just been taken over by AO Hostels.
First room was massive with very comfortable bed, but aircon/heating unit was faulty so room was cold. Complained and was given rusty old electric space heater with Hilton branding still on it from last electrician check. Power socket on desk was loose and didn't have a good connection. Couple hours later took the plug out and prongs were very hot and smell of burnt plastic. Shower also took a long time to get to a decent temperature, boiler obviously needed warming up.
Complained and they said they'd send out an engineer, don't want to mess with electrics. No engineer came but heater was replaced with new one. Asked for a new room and was moved.
New room a big improvement. Working heating. Shower nice and hot.
It's only just reopened and was a quick turnaround from the previous owners. Last night posters to say there's a drone team due to survey the hotel so looks like they're looking into issues. Lots of evidence of work being done in the hotel. The hotel has clearly has seen wear and tear, evident all over.
Decent WiFi.
Free ferry shuttle to the hotel which is a fun novelty, operated by Thames Clippers.
Mixed bag this stay, but I hope AO Hostels pull the strings and get the hotel into a better standard, it needs doing but I'd definitely stay again. It'd make a great reasonably priced hotel in a great location.
The service was exellent from reception to the brdakfast restauran staff are friendly and helpful. Food was nice. Want to mention the receptionist who help me sort out my booking my child was missing on the booking. ALEKH he was very helpful and very kind.

GGuest UserOur family stayed at the Royal Eagle Hotel (Paddington) on 23/8/25
It is 5 min walk from Paddingtion station,so it is quite convenient to take underground tube to different attractions ,with many restaurants and shops nearby.
Ms.Laylia Aboi prepare homemade breakfast. She is very cheerful and friendly. The bread, cake and scones all incredibly fresh and tasty
GGuest UserIt was a good location & clean. Staff were very friendly. Only issue was because we stayed there for less than 7 days (we stayed for 6 weeks) they wouldn’t clean the room. It has an amazing gym & a good laundromat.
Ssalaudin lunatHoliday inn Sutton 4*hotel. Close to local amenities shopping , eating. The hotel has Jacuzzi, sauna, swimming pool, gym, and steam room. Excellent selection of breakfast (help yourself / buffet). Friendly staff at the hotel. Good public transport nearby. I high recommended Holiday Inn Sutton.
GgawufbWhat I expected from a Holiday Inn, clean and comfortable and amazing value for money considering breakfast was included.
However, the breakfast wasn’t great. Very busy and waited a long time for food to be replenished, plus I’ve never seen scrambled eggs so dry and crumbly. Overall a good stay, pretty good location close to the river and slept well.
GGuest UserBerjaya Eden is very near to Queensway and Bayswater station. You'll need to carry your luggage up some stairs, but it's manageable. Alternatively drag your luggage for about 20 minutes to/from Paddington station. Hotel is in a student and touristy area near to Kensington and Hyde Parks. You can walk to Portobello street (Notting Hill movie) and even Holland Park.
Rooms are serviced by an old elevator which can accommodate 2 persons with luggage. Checking in was easy and you have to pay a refundable £50 deposit. The manager helped us with our heavy luggage when he saw us approaching the hotel entrance. Our original room was located quite a distance from the lift. He gave us a room near the lift without our asking. We didn't get to thank him as he had some matter to attend to. Room was clean with comfortable bed. A tower type fan provided as there's no aircon. Won't be adequate during the summer months. Shower area was good enough for us but larger guests will find it crammed. Hot water was instantaneous and easily controlled.
Buffet breakfast starts from 8am and it's Malaysian and Continental. The restaurant is called Med (Mat) Salleh and run by two Malaysian ladies from Ipoh. The Malaysian breakfast was good especially the fried chicken wings. You get all the 3 parts of the wing instead of just the drumlet served elsewhere. Yummy! Restaurant is popular with Malaysian tourists and government/business persons. Malaysian Royalty have even visited Med Salleh restaurant.
There are many restaurants, cafes, pubs and supermarkets near the hotel. You won't go hungry except your wallet will be lighter if your currency is much lower than the British Pound.
Checking out was just as easy and the deposit refunded to your credit card on the same day. You can also leave your luggage if you still have time before catching the train to Heathrow or elsewhere. You can catch the train to Heathrow from Paddington via Elizabeth Line or the TFL Line. Elizabeth Line cost more but is more comfortable, less stops and with enough space for your luggage.

MMandy_HLovely budget style hotel, perfect for a weekend break or business overnight stay. I had the budget double room, it was very compact, but cost with all the basics you need - eg space to hang some clothes etc Limited space for luggage, but I had an overnight bag so was not an issue for me. Receptin staff were very friendly and helpful. I was able to check in a couple of hours earlier as my room was available. The free coffee/tea in reception was a nice touch. Nice bar area to relax in. Cafe Nero adjoins reception area if you want a ”proper” coffee hut! Breakfast was fine, a mix of continental and buffet-style cooked breakfast. But you could ask for eggs cooked your way. The hotel is well appointed in a bustling part of north west London, eg it's a very short walk from Kings Cross and Russell Square. Covent Garden and Leicester Sq = 15/20 minute walk. Really good transport links nearby - buses towards Covent Garden, Strand, St Paul's etc. Tubes taking you to most parts of central London and beyond.
BBehekEverything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).
GGexing~tianxiaThe rooms are pristine and, despite the hotel being open for just a year, there was no unpleasant dampness or strange smell from the water. The service was also excellent. It appears the hotel uses a water softening system, as my hair felt incredibly smooth after washing. The complimentary bottled water is also a custom-branded mineral water, which adds a touch of sophistication.
While not in the city centre, the hotel boasts excellent transport links. It's particularly well-served by buses; route 55 goes directly to Oxford Street, and route 205 takes you to King's Cross Station (convenient for trains to Cambridge and other cities). It's incredibly easy to get around from here – just remember to check the bus direction! When returning to the hotel, it's actually closer to alight at the bus stop after Old Street and walk from there.
Overall, this hotel offers fantastic value for money. Perhaps because it's a newly opened hotel still in its introductory phase, securing an Executive Room in London for just over 2000 RMB is genuinely a great deal.
NNuonuo_8019This airport hotel has relatively spacious rooms. I was traveling with a friend. My child is an aviation enthusiast, so we specifically booked a runway view room (you can't see the runway from non-runway view rooms). It really proved perfect for plane spotting; it's right by the runway, offering completely unobstructed, first-person views of take-offs and landings.
Facilities: Some are a bit old, but perfectly acceptable.
Hygiene: Good, didn't find anything unclean.
Service: The front desk staff were quite welcoming and even proactively advised us on things to look out for when visiting Windsor.
