Hotels With Spa in Braga District, Portugal

It is a nice hotel right in front of S. Bento’s church. It has a couple of restaurants nearby but we always had dinner at the hotel. Great food, both breakfast and dinner, and each plate had a very generous amount of food, good enough to share with another person. Pillows are too soft, beds are good, rooms are also nice but are not sound proof. You can access the Spa for an hour as long as you book it in advance and it costs you 10€ per person.

The most important thing — this is not really spa hotel. There is spa center across the road, but the only one benefit that you have as a guest of the hotel is 10% discount. In total if you want to have a spa, you must pay extra 30 euros per person per day. I think its not so fare for guests. And the second thing is that you have only scrambled eggs and bacon as a hot dish for the breakfast. In the rest moments — everything is fine, staff is friendly, room was clean (but there is no fridge or mini-bar, that strange).

The service was five star from the initial greeting through to check out. Accommodation was modern with glass doors and quality fittings plus a coffee machine which was a nice touch. Spa was very good although you need a shower cap for the pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was excellent and they even provided gluten-free pastries which was a lovely touch. Finally, the vineyard and surrounding areas are stunning.

For us it is a very good option to go to Braga, as it allows us to go by walking and leaving the car parked (have free parking), as well as a good Spa and a fantastic breakfast, what more can you ask?

Siempre que venimos a Guimaraes paramos aquí . Es un hotel muy limpio,silencioso y con habitaciónes amplias.Personal amable y tiene spa.

The room is not in the main building of the castle, but in the annex, so the room has plenty of space. The breakfast is very rich, with omelets that can be cooked on the spot by the service staff. The service at the front desk was average. I guess we arrived late and she was sleepy.

Viemos passar uma noite neste Hotel no domingo de Páscoa. Hotel muito bonito e bem desenhado. Primeiro quadro duplo standard em que ficamos era muito pequeno. Pedimos alteração para um no mesmo nível mas com melhor vista e foram muito razoáveis. Entradas de Spa não foram controladas, o que levou a excesso de pessoas na hora marcada. Zona de restaurante é a mesma que a do pequeno almoço, e comida é mediana. Preferível jantar no centro da cidade visto estarmos a 500m. Pequeno almoço muito bom. Estacionamento gratuito muito limitado.

We want to go back, but next summer we want to swim in the pool and take breakfast on the slope. The reception closes at 21:00, so they should arrive before.

We were very well received at the reception by Bárbara and had dinner in the restaurant where Mr. António showed a lot of friendliness and kindness. At the end of our stay we had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Adelaide, a very friendly and welcoming lady. When we go to Gerês we already know where to stay.
