We were completely exhausted when we checked in and delighted to find a comfy bed with lovely views over the river. We rested for a while and then went to the spa. The pool was just the right temperature as was the sauna and steam room. It was very relaxing. We enjoyed a great meal it was very tasty and served quickly. I'm vegan and gluten free and the choice for me was excellent. We then strolled around outside for a while catching the setting sun. The scenery was gorgeous. We slept really well and again enjoyed the spa facilities before a hearty breakfast and checked put completely refreshed at 11am the next day. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Special requests we didn't get...saw 4 other rooms to accommodate our nice view .2 wine glasses...2 chairs to sit at window to see a view...had to take last offer as this point it was 5.30pm....room had sour smell in it.catpet all stained..cups all stained.winfows broken handles .. condensation in windows...1 bath towel...linen was spotless...lovely friendly staff..very chatty...to compensate us we got a free drink .free breakfast....
