All rooms are on the 9th floor and are spacious, though there was a strange smell in the bathroom in the mornings. The restaurant is a plus, offering great city views, including Bagrati Cathedral. "If you compare it to a Japanese business hotel, it's 5 stars. By global standards, it's 3 stars. So, I rated it 4 stars. The value for money is excellent. As of 2025, I doubt there are many hotels in Asian cities that offer this quality for this price. It's not luxurious, but for someone with Japanese sensibilities, it's a perfectly fine hotel. The owner, Slab, is incredibly hardworking and kind. While other staff members vary, it feels like everything runs smoothly under the owner's control. It's a bit out of town, but within walking distance. It's also conveniently located on the way to the airport. There's a bus stop right in front, a supermarket next door, and if you cross the road and go left, you'll find a delicious bakery. The tap water is drinkable, and there's a water cooler at the front desk. There's no iron available. For laundry, if you request it before 4 PM, they'll send it out for cleaning for GEL 20 per bag. Breakfast is from 9 AM to 11 AM. When we had early excursions or late-night flights to the airport, they kindly prepared breakfast boxes for us. Apparently, we were their first Japanese guests. While Kutaisi may not see many Japanese tourists, if you're visiting the city, I highly recommend this hotel. We had a very satisfying stay."

"Small but exquisite hotel. We arrived in the afternoon and asked the proprietress if she had any recommendations for a restaurant outside for dinner. The proprietress enthusiastically recommended the restaurant. It's very close to the hotel. I walked there for a few minutes. It's really a very creative restaurant. If I go there late, there will be no seats. This hotel only opened in May 2024. It is very new and clean. There are not many rooms and the breakfast quality is also very good. The location is near the central fountain. Street parking is also convenient."

"We stayed for 3 nights, it turned out to be 2 full days in Kutaisi. For us, the location was convenient, I arrived from Tbilisi by train. The hotel is next to the train station. Check-in is fast. The room is spacious enough, a comfortable bed, clean linen, towels. There is everything you need, gels, shampoos, toothbrushes. There is a kettle, tea, coffee, they give 0.5 water daily. Bathrobes, disposable slippers. Breakfasts are good, buffet, enough choice. Cleaning is daily, but we refused, because we only spent the night in the room. We walked around the main sights of Kutaisi, from the hotel to the central square about 20 minutes. We were quite satisfied with the chosen hotel."

"We absolutely loved this hotel!! Sofia was warm and friendly, and the breakfast was abundant. There is a swing on the third-floor balcony, where you can enjoy beautiful night views. The dog by the entrance is lovely as well. The hotel is not far from central Kutaisi, which is super convenient for self-driving guests, and parking is available right at the front door. We hope to visit again sometime."

"Здесь были лучшие завтраки за всю нашу поездку по Грузии. Хозяева готовят сами, всё было очень вкусно. Гостиница находится в старинном доме с историей. До центра и до вокзала пешком около 15 минут. По удобству и комфорту в целом всё хорошо, если только пара пожеланий: добавить какой-то мебели в комнату, т.к. негде разложить свои вещи, и сделать процесс заселения более понятным для гостей. Нигде не было указано, что нужно заранее сообщить хозяевам о своём прибытии. Мы приехали вечером и ждали их в коридоре около 15 минут."

My friend suddenly fell ill last night and wanted to extend his check-out time to 2:30 PM today, and the owner readily agreed. We were so grateful to him! 🙏🙏😊 He also recommended a nearby restaurant that serves authentic local cuisine; we've eaten there four times already! 🤣 The food is fantastic! 👍😊 Overall, we were very satisfied and would give it a five-star recommendation! 😊😊"
