"Good location a fair distance away from the very crowded city center and tourist attractions, between 2 metro stations with plenty of food options. Not a good location if traveling by car due to lack of parking. Checking in/out was a simple process and the rooms are spacious with many amenities. Only missing washing machines, laundry has to be done at nearby laundromats."

"The hotel's location is excellent; there's a bus stop right outside, and it's only about a 10-minute, two-stop ride to Syntagma Square. The cleanliness was good, and the hotel provided various toiletries and slippers, though there wasn't a toothbrush. For service, breakfast offered about ten different items, and the taste was decent. They had authentic Greek yogurt and freshly made coffee that was delicious. The biggest surprise was the bar on the top floor of the hotel, which offers stunning views of the Acropolis. It's a great spot to enjoy the scenery and order drinks."

"Good location, near to metro station but a bit far from downtown Acropolis if by walking. I like the view overseeing the whole Athen and Acropolis. Delicious breakfast!"

"Lovely little hotel with helpful staff. The train station is across the road from the hotel, which is very handy. The room was spacious enough for me. It got cleaned most days. The hotel is about a 25-30 minute walk to the main attractions (or you can just get on a train). I just googled places and walked everywhere. Never felt in danger walking around (that includes night time, too). There are a couple of mini supermarkets around the corner from the hotel with a variety of different things (fresh produce, etc). My room had a nice view of the city, and the sun was shining on my balcony most of the day, I could watch sunset (see photo) My ONLY negative was the smoking. The cleaner would smoke in her cleaning room, and when I got fresh towels, they smelt of cigarettes. Smoke travels, and I always knew when she had arrived or when she was smoking. I noticed that the hotel is a non-smoking hotel, but other guests were smoking on their balcony. Other than that, I had a nice, clean, and relaxing stay here. I would stay here again, super cheap and cheerful."

"Exceptional! As we all know, Greece is known for stairs. So once you get through steps to the lobby there is elevators. The service was exceptional and beyond. I’ll start with welcoming you, a clean cool room With excellent beds and air conditioning! Yes needed it in MAY. The cleaning crew cleaned and left it like new each time. I stayed 5 nights and well located near metro and walking distance to museums.  I must add they do have a sauna for added fee. Their daily breakfast was amazing, great spread and tasty. Coffee was wonderful. Italian. The last day, they knew I was leaving at 6 am, they boxed me a travel breakfast! I was taken on how special and thoughtful that was. I felt safe and cared after especially being a solo traveler and a female. Service and staff beyond accommodating. I’d highly recommend this property and their team!"

"The front desk service was exceptionally good! I really felt the warmth and relaxed vibe of the Greek people. I arrived at midnight, and a gentleman at the front desk greeted us with a very friendly smile. He carefully explained that the food on the 8th and 9th floors of the restaurant was exactly the same, but the 9th floor offered better views! He also mentioned the gym was on B1 and breakfast was from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, which was very thoughtful. My friend sent me a bouquet of flowers, and he even helped deliver a vase to my room – so considerate! When I got to the room, it was quite spacious, and the bed was very comfortable! Waking up in the morning, the biggest surprise was the incredible view from the rooftop restaurant and pool!!! Absolutely worth it! The ultimate scenery! Breathtaking! Breakfast was plentiful! Very satisfied, enjoying breakfast with such a beautiful view. The restaurant has three sides of floor-to-ceiling windows and a large terrace with views from all three directions! This was simply amazing! Some of the facilities in the room were a bit old, which didn't affect the stay itself but did impact the overall experience, especially the towels! They were too old, which was a bit hard to accept, but everything else was fine. The hotel's location is excellent. Taxis to places like the Acropolis, museums, or generally the city center were all around 6 euros. Very convenient. After a 5-day stay, it was still very good! I saw stunning sunsets from different spots in the city! One from Mount Lycabettus, one from a temple, one from the Grand Hyatt, and one from the Panathenaic Stadium! Athens in June is beautiful! Although the city feels a bit run-down, it doesn't detract from the happy and relaxed atmosphere of the people 😌"

"I have to say, booking this hotel was a mistake. It's my own fault for not choosing the location carefully. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere, about 700 meters from the metro station. I dragged my luggage and it probably took me 20 minutes to walk there. I should have booked something near Syntagma Square, as that's where the airport bus stops. It also cost me 10 Euros for a taxi from the main attractions in the old town to get here. Since it was already booked and couldn't be changed, I had no choice but to stay here. Then, when I went to sleep, I'm not sure if it was because I was anxious about leaving the next day or if the pillow was a bit too high, but I just couldn't get a good night's sleep."

"Located in the heart of Athens between Akropolis and Syntagma Square it is in a perfect location to cultural explore, go for shopping as well as arrange business meetings. Many restaurants and coffee places, all in walking distance. Main reason to choose Elia Ermou was the room size as it is 20+ sqm, and it has a parking garage in the same building. Further to mention is the nice roof top restaurant in the 7th floor with terrace and Akropolis view. One minor issue to mention is if a little more silence is required a room on the higher floors and not on the Ermou side might be the better choice… Overall verdict, being a globally experienced traveler, 5 stars !"

"The room itself was decent, but there's room for improvement in terms of cleanliness. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to walk to the Acropolis. The rooftop restaurant offers great views, quality, and service. The Christmas set menu was quite good, and the breakfast buffet in the lobby had many choices, though the taste was just average."
