Quite a posh hotel. The amenities are great. Room size great. Buffet breakfast is a bonus too. There's an on site convenience shop. Outside, at the carpark side; there's another & even a 7E. The attached Onsen also has a souvenir shop. Booked a room with Mt. Fuji view but alas, snowed days before we arrived & was drizzling too. Its early spring so my advice to travellers is to let d weather sort itself first😁

“A Wonderful Stay with a Warm Welcome!” From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a very warm and friendly welcome, making us feel right at home. The room was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail and excellent service truly stood out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing experience!

It is about 25 minutes from Kofu Station. The walking speed of the elderly is not as fast as that of the young people. The living facilities nearby are quite complete. It can be reached by bus. There are Family Mart, 7-11 and ramen restaurants nearby.

Staying at a ryokan facing Mount Fuji was like stepping into a different rhythm of life — one where everything slows down, and every detail feels intentional. From the warm welcome to the soft tatami floors and the sound of the wind rustling through the trees outside the shoji screens, it was peace in its purest form. Watching the sunrise over Fuji-san in the quiet morning light, soaking in the onsen with a view I’ll never forget, and sharing traditional meals that felt like art — these are the moments that stay with you. Grateful for the stillness, the hospitality, and the kind of memories that settle deep in your soul.

Toyoko has 2 stores next to JR station. This store is far away. There is a big park next to it. It is very good. If there is more luggage, it is recommended to choose another one. The hotel includes breakfast, but the variety is relatively small and the service is very good.

The stay was awesome and the staff are very kind and helpful, providing very clear information to all the servives and activities we can do. We were welcomed with complimentary snacks, drinks and even wine after check in. And there is also a complimentary ramen supper available, which feeds our empty stomach after a whole day. The coffee and hot chocolate is also availavle 24 hours complimentary. There is also different onsen theme available, private and public which we had tried out all. Do note on some of the rules when using the onsen. The breakfast is very good and tasty. We had our first Japanese style breakfast and tried the local Hotou and 纳豆 as well. Location wise is slightly outskirts from the Fujikawaguchiko station but there is shuttle bus available for transfer. However, we drived but didn't had the chance to take the shuttle bus. Parking wise a lot of spaces available so that's not a worry. Ultimately, the best of the best is the Mount Fuji voew from our balcony and there is also onsen available in the room. Overall, we had a very good stay and would recommend for anyone who would like a good and comfortable stay. 5 star service.

A good ryokan with onsen. Good service, spacious room with traditional Japanese futoras instead of a bed, varied breakfast and excellent onsen - both public and private. Of the minuses - location (50 minutes by bus from Kawaguchiko, which runs very rarely) and the lack of a cooler with cold/hot water (but this is more due to the traditional nature of the hotel). It's a pity that we were unlucky with the weather - it rained both in the evening and in the morning, Fuji was not visible. Otherwise, everything is fine.

Hotel Mystays Fuji Onsen Resort offers a fantastic blend of comfort, convenience, and breathtaking scenery. The highlight is undoubtedly the stunning view of Mount Fuji, visible from many rooms and the open-air onsen, making for an unforgettable experience. The onsen itself is a must-try, with soothing natural hot spring waters perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. The hotel maintains a clean and modern ambiance, with well-appointed rooms that, while not overly spacious, are designed for comfort and functionality. Service is efficient and polite, with staff always ready to assist despite some language barriers. The breakfast buffet offers a decent variety of Japanese and Western options, fueling guests for a day of adventure. The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring Fuji-Q Highland and nearby attractions, with shuttle services and easy access to public transport. Overall, it’s a great choice for travelers looking for a relaxing stay with unbeatable views of Japan’s most iconic mountain.

It is a resort tucked away from the busy Kawaguchiko station area, yet convenient to go to the station for sightseeing buses thanks for the hotel shuttle bus. Please check the shuttle schedule on the hotel website. We really enjoyed the beautiful hotel garden and trails by the lake outside the hotel. You can also rent bikes from the hotel with minimal fees and ride around the lake. The buffet breakfast has variety of both Japanese and western options. We had dinner in the hotel too since there is no restaurants in the vicinity. The food is fine but pricey. The onsen is nice. I am not sure it is hot springs water though. Overall it is a very nice hotel and we had a relaxing day here.

Nice cosy hotel. Hotel parking very limited, got to park outside parking, got 1 at 700 yen for night parking 1900-0700. Nice breakfast buffet & ice cream after onsen. Got 2 massage chair, same level as onsen. There's free washing machine usage only beside men onsen so quite inconvenience for ladies to use. Dryer 20mins @100yen.

OOnsiriJapanese style hotel. A bit old and outdated but I think it's charming with Tatami, futon and closet like where Doraemon sleep. If you arrive at station after 3 pm you can call hotel for free pick up service, just 10-15 mins then they're there. We've got a room at 10th floor so bit of a walk from main building to our room but it's fine there, great view of Fuji and lake. Room were nice in Japanese style like I ever read in manga. Our rate were breakfast and dinner included. Then they arranged for you as the time you prefer. Excellent food and super good service! Even they speak 99% only Japanese but service is extraordinary. Don't miss the onsen too, cool experience to take a bath with a view. They also have shuttle service to train station , just ask reception ,free of charge.

PPICHEWA_I arrived at Kawaguchiko Station in the afternoon and decided to leave my luggage at a locker near the station before visiting Oshino Hakkai. I returned to the station around 5 PM to retrieve my luggage and called the hotel to inquire about their FREE Shuttle Bus service. Luckily, I caught the shuttle bus back to the hotel in time. The driver was very polite and helpful, assisting me with my luggage both ways. The hotel had a nice and standard atmosphere, both inside and out. The staff at the lobby were friendly and spoke excellent English. They were able to provide me with all the information needed. My room was a 20 square meter Lake View Room with a stunning view of Mount Fuji. It had two single beds, a desk and chairs The entrance had a large mirror and the storage space. Unfortunately, the remaining space in the room was too small to fully open my 28-inch suitcase. Luckily, I was alone, so I used the second bed to store my belongings. The bathroom was small but well-equipped with a shower, bathtub, and an automatic toilet. The onsen was located on the 6th floor and was divided into male and female sections. It was clean and spacious. However, around 8-10 PM, it got quite crowded. If you're not accustomed to this culture, you might want to visit during the morning. (Operated Time : 3PM-2AM & 5-10 AM) The hotel restaurant offered a variety of dishes. I checked the menu and decided to purchase a dinner coupon at the lobby. The dinner buffet was served from 6-9 PM. Breakfast (7-9AM) was included in my package and was slightly different from dinner. Overall, the food was decent but not exceptional. I recommend arriving early for dinner to avoid the crowds. Key Points: - The hotel offers a free shuttle bus service every 30 minutes between the hotel and Kawaguchiko Station. - There are no convenience stores near the hotel. The hotel's convenience store has limited options. - There is only one restaurant near the hotel, and it's only open for lunch. If you don't have a car, your dining options are limited to the hotel's buffet or instant ramen (from hotel's convenient store at Lobby 1st floor).

GGuest UserThe hotel is nestled in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy area. We stayed 3 nights in a room facing the lake with a magnificent view of Fuji-san. A van provides shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko station. The restaurant is not operational hence we either ate outside or bought food back from Lawson/7-11. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive, and there were Mandarin-speaking staff. We miss it very much even though we are now in Hoshino Amoriya, which speaks a lot about the Kumonoue Fuji!

SSor Yi MingPlace is close to ropeway bus stop. however, it can be a challange to carry your luggage up the hill slope which is share with cars and visitors to the ropeway. smoking room doesnt smell smoky as they provide purifier.. but the hallway lead to the room are very smoky in smell. just has to bare with it. once enter, required to change show for their slippers, proceed to check in, there are foreign staffs that can speak some english to help with check in if you check in between 3 to 5pm, there are free flow of snacks (popcorns, meatbun, mugi cha) and alcohols ( lemon sour and asahi beer) once check in u can go for onsen to relax. not mandate to wear yukata. but feel free to do so for the immersion. the room is dated, like stuck in the 90s or early 2000s. toilet is seperate from bath.. frankly speaking its better to bath at the onsen if you dont mind ***** infront of strangers n stared by japanese guests to see if u make any mistake ( they want you to be clean in every nook and cany) as they are in the onsen has sauna but quite small. hover 82 degree c has old school water spray jet which u need to control manually on all 3 sides.. good luck to do it fast during cold days. basic amendities at the onsen area.. just hair dryer, fan and thats all bed n pillow quite soft... pillow are small but u can get more from reception. great view of the lake from hotel room and dining area. breakfast is ok. everyday similar menu.. buffet style breakfast.. fish, asa curry, breads, minced marinated sashimi don, corn soup and miso soups. free flow coffee, soft drinks and limited selection of fruits. dinner is ok, buffet style but 90 min.. need to info counter what is your prefered time slot. i recommend choose dinner... cuase it is quite a distance to the bus station for food.. and the queue are horrendous but the food are nice there tho, u can even admire mt fuji. heard the dinner theme is based on months or seasons.

SSIRIPORNI was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was—much larger than I expected. The toilet and shower were in separate rooms, which was really convenient. The ryokan-style bed gave a lovely traditional Japanese feel, which I absolutely loved. There's also a window-side table where you can sit and enjoy a full view of Mt. Fuji all day long. I was lucky to visit on a clear day and saw an unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji—it made the trip truly unforgettable. Breakfast was delicious with every dish. The hotel also offers a laundry room, a kids’ playroom, and a stunning Mt. Fuji view onsen—perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and after check-in, there was even a shuttle service to Kawaguchiko Station. Highly recommended!

AAshleyLovely property in a great location. You’re slightly more off of the beaten track but the tourist bus stop is right out front of the hotel. Great being right by the lake. Amazing room, massive for just me. There’s no shower in the room just a toilet but the onsen was lovely and you can shower in there. Older property also be aware those with accessibility needs the hotel is up quite a steep slope/numerous stairs and then when inside there’s no lift so I had to carry my luggage up and anyone with mobility issues would struggle as I believe all the rooms are on the first floor and that’s after tackling the way up to the hotel. Staff were lovely, can’t comment on dinner or breakfast but a great traditional ryokan stay.

LLL22Enjoyed our stay at Bessho Sasa. The view of Mount Fuji is beyond amazing especially from the rooftop open air onsen area. The dinner provided in the half board package is a full nine course dinner Japanese cuisine menu which is perfect if you are a Japanese cuisine fan like me. The room was smaller than I expected, however it was sufficient for the three of us with each of us having our own very comfortable single bed to sleep in. Complete amenities and the service is excellent. Would definitely go back there again.

NNaqueyaFor some reason I was not sent a QR Code to my email to check in. I was sent a pin number which was not necessary or utilized. We arrived at the villa several hours early and called to see if we could check in early, they apparently have a strict after 3pm check-in. We found a place and paid to store our luggage and then came back to the villa at 3pm. Again, still had not received the QR Code. Called again, was hung up on. Called back, was told it would take 10 minutes. Called back and was asked for my email, was put on hold then was asked for my email again (which was already provided at booking). Then was asked to send them an email, they didn't get it and then was asked to send to personal icloud email. They finally found my email and sent the QR Code to me at close to 4pm which was an hour after check-in and we had to stand out in the sun the entire time. This was so frustrating and ridiculous. My email address was in the reservation, why it took so long is crazy. The process needs to be updated so this doesn't happen to other people. There was a huge spider above the TV in the corner, we got rid of it but it was creepy. The view from the villa was great! The beds were nice! Loved the double showers! The body sponges are so clever and left our skin feeling smoothe! The clothes drying was very innovative and did work effectively, needed to turn the heater on twice to get the clothes dry. Towel rack on the wall was broken on the right side, the rod wouldn't stay in. The one pot in the kitchen was burnt on the bottom inside, we tried to clean it to use it but could not. We did use the grill to make dinner and it was a wonderful touch!
