Stayed here with my daughter for the Olivia Rodrigo concert. Usually stay in a Premier Inn but this was so much better. Only downside was a squeaky sliding door on the bathroom and someone running in the corridor at 2am. Overall, a lovely quirky hotel and would stay again đ

Strategically located near central Manchester city. Easy to walk around town. Hotel room is small, good to stay for one short trip. Breakfast was ok, but the hall was a little small.

Hotel very close to Piccadilly Station (just be careful where to find it, as you can easily walk past the street it is on!) Could leave luggage for the day before checking-in.
Breakfast is nice but a little different im taste and texture of other fried breakfasts I have had in UK hotels. Could take away a coffee with disposable cups which is a good idea đ
Room is a little small, but beds are comfortable. Area is quiet - but they are building a tram line next to the hotel so maybe we were lucky for waking up on Sunday morning.

The room's location is excellent. Though not large, it was very clean. Prices are reasonable during the week, but significantly higher on weekends. It's very close to the city center and incredibly convenient for getting to Old Trafford, Manchester United's home stadium. There's a small canal right next to it; you can walk along its path for about 4 kilometers to reach the stadium.
Inexpensive and perfect location for Airport and Station. Reception was polite and friendly, check in very quick. Room was small but adequate for a short stay, two single beds as requested, TV, kettle, tea , coffee and milk. Very clean with shower en suite. Continental breakfast was basic but all we needed.
Would definitely stay here again and happy to recommend.

Had a short stay in Manchester and needed a place that I could also work from while enjoying the city. The studio room was clean, well furnished and had everything I needed for a short stay. The staff was friendly, and there was a âgrab and goâ breakfast offered which wasn't particularly appealing but better than nothing. Location was good and had plenty to do nearby- bit difficult to get to from the airport, needed an Uber.
It was conveniently located near the train station, and accessible on foot to all the terminals at Manchester airport. The staff were friendly, and our check in was smooth. The rooms were spacious and clean with a modern touch, and I loved the big windows, providing ample natural light. Very comfortable beddings, and they had accessible rooms. Each room had a Nespresso machine w 1 pod, a kettle, a hairdryer and even a garment steamer. Overall a great hotel, highly recommend.
We booked this because it's near Old Trafford stadium. Good:
1. Friendly staff
2. Nice view
3. Nice breakfast
4. Complimentary drinks
5. Free parking and wifi in room
Weak:
1. Room looked old and broken
I had a great stay at Holiday Inn Express Manchester â Salford Quays. The hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable, with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and efficient, and check-in was quick and smooth. One of the highlights was the location â it offered easy access to football games at Old Trafford, which was just a short walk away, as well as convenient public transport connections to the city centre and beyond. A solid and stress-free choice for anyone visiting Manchester, especially for football fans. Iâd happily stay here again.
Excellent hotel, friendly staff, and good breakfast (need to offer alternatives to vegetarian people). Ms Khadija (from kitchen) has been very helpful and was around all time offering help or and providing any missing items of goods. Thank you Khadija and thank you all kitchen people.

NNP/UKStayed here a few times now, quiet hotel but near to all local shops and transport links to Manchester city centre and the airport. Rooms are warm, with a fan in the cupboard if needed, plenty of tea and coffee provided, mini fridge and microwave too đ my shower wasn't the best on this stay but not the end of the world tbh.
GGuest UserHotel is excellent room and views are lovely. Location is excellent and majority of staff were nice. Only a few issues they give and charge you for doubles in the bar when the menu only gives single prices. The response from the barmaid was you never specified a single when that should be as standard. Also take 50 pound a night for cover in case you spend in the hotel but only refunded 97.60 for the 2 nights. Although we didnât spend anything on the room. The hotel is super but just those 2 things took the shine of a really great stay.
SSeñorHotelA great hotel near the airport. The shuttle is 10 quid and the hotel is clean with friendly staff. Downpoints are that parking can be busy sometimes and the pull up switch between the shower and bath tap can be a bit troublesome (room 719) and the same in some other rooms I have stayed in. Food and bar available and 24hour reception.
NNayomithedivaLoved my stay at this Hotel. It was my third time staying at this hotel. The aesthetics of the Hotel are really nice. The spaces in the hotel are modern with a touch of luxury. The front desk ladies that I met during my stay were welcoming, friendly and had good vibes.Nothing beats a warm welcome.
Check in was quick and easy and very professional. I forgot the name of the lady that checked us in but she was fabulous. We checked in on September 4th 2024 between 12:20-12:50 so the lady that was sat on the right side of the main desk at that time did really well n checking us in.
The breakfast was okay , but it kinda left me wanting more in terms of selection. Maybe beef sausages or even chicken sausages could be added???
But it was still good nevertheless.
The location of the hotel is also pretty good as you are able to go to access many restaurants⊠and shopping points.
Distance from the Machester Piccadilly Train station from this hotel is super convenient as well.
Would totally recommend this hotelđđđ

HHelen FinneranBreakfast was not offered as an option. Check in was slow & the reception staff were not very welcoming. There was a lady complaining that her bathroom was not clean, her issue didn't appear to be efficiently dealt with, causing her to be irate in the reception area resulting in a delayed check in for us.
Our bedroom was at best 'average' not what we would consider an executive suite as sold. Not enough condiments for a 2 night stay.
The television was wall mounted on the opposite side of the room to where the bed was placed, not making for comfortable viewing.
Would have appreciated housekeeping checking if we needed towel change/toilet roll top up.
I have stayed here on a previous visit to Manchester, I would not return. Considerably over priced in comparison to other hotels in the area & the quality of service.
LLizhidaliI'm puzzled by the low ratings for this hotel. After a two-night stay, I found it to be an excellent hotel, offering great value. Both the exterior and interior boast a strong, classic British retro vibe. If an influencer were to pick it up, it would easily become a viral sensation. I had booked a twin room but was upgraded for free to a duplex room on the 5th floor, which featured a large, round window, reminiscent of Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum. The location is also incredibly convenient. It's just a 5-10 minute walk from Deansgate Station, and most of Manchester's main attractions are within walking distance. The surrounding area has everything you could need, including various tram stops, supermarkets, and restaurants, not to mention popular spots like HeyTea and Pop Mart.
GGuest UserWell, the room itself was good, small but well thought out except that there is no light switch by the bed. Comfortable bed, decent TV and compact but fully functional shower room with an excellent power shower. Check-in was simple, just had to pay an extra ÂŁ1 for the Manchester tourist tax. And the location is very good, in the University area by the Graphene institute and a few minutes walk from the main drag and Piccadilly station.
But the breakfast! Oh dear. I was welcomed and informed I could sit anywhere but every table was dirty, not a clean place anywhere, and only a few places were set with cutlery. Found a relatively clean table eventually then went to the self-service buffet. Good selection of food but the hot food - eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, tomoatoes, mushrooms, hash browns - was old and cold. Breakfast is from 7 to 10 am. I got there at 9 and I think the food had been put out at 7. Just about edible but not great. You could have played tennis with the rubbery eggs. Only small coffee/tea cups available, and quite randomly laid out. Unfortunately it was free (at least, included in the room rate) so couldn't even get a refund.
Take the room, but go out for breakfast!
GGuest UserMy man told me the doors locked yet there wasnât any batteries to make functional, he also said I looked like a stoner n can happily smoke ****, so I took upon his request and enjoyed my stay to the fullest, was beneficial of the pricing range as the cost was no more then a 3.5 per bedroomÂ
As for the the essential part of the trip, my associate commandeered a new sleeping partner,
So many thanks to the OUO house members for letting us stay in Middleton đ
