The hotel is somewhat distant from all metro stations. If you have large luggage, navigating the pebble-paved streets can be quite challenging, so taking an Uber or taxi is highly recommended.
Upon arrival, we enjoyed delicious welcome desserts in the room. The amenities include a kettle for boiling water and a complimentary bottle of water. But no tooth paste, tooth brushes or slippers are provided.
The water pressure in the shower was weaker than I’d prefer, and the bathroom sink counter is too small, making it difficult to place items. Handwashing often resulted in water splashing everywhere.
On the positive side, the bed was very spacious, which we greatly appreciated.
Luggage storage is free. Luggage is kept in the luggage room and have to wait for the staff to open the door to get the luggage. There are sometimes only 1 staff in the front desk and if you are in a hurry and if no one happens to be in the reception area, you may have to prepare more time for this. We have waited around 10 mins.

Hallo
Mvg

It's been a while, but the memory is still vivid. The room was spacious, and breakfast was excellent – unlimited egg tarts! The capsule coffee was surprisingly good, comparable to freshly ground. Maybe I was just exhausted, but this last stop was pretty good. It started raining heavily as we left, marking the beginning of the rainy season, yet the taxi drivers didn't overcharge, which felt like a perfect ending!
I must have a soft spot for Portugal; even after 10 days, I still wanted more. So, I'm happy to express my gratitude to the places I stayed and the people who helped and served me! Wishing you all the best!
It's all gone very well.
Very nice, the bed and super comfortable coats, the room was minimalist but well thought mt, the balcony right in front of the sea was really what caught, sleeping and waking up with the sound of the sea .... Great ...
The spa was very good, the outdoor pool also recommended.
The restaurant served a super complete and nutritive PA.
We had a lunch in the restaurant, food in certain quantities and tasty food, we had 5% discount for being guests.
Slightly rustic by North American standards, but clean and comfortable. Elevators were very small and very slow based on the capacity of the hotel. A bit isolated from shopping and other amenities. You definitely need a car or arrange your transportation if staying there. Nice beach nearby within walking distance. Good breakfast and facilities like pool, spa and massage. Staff were polite, but when we complained about a noisy heater fan in our room, their solution was to simply turn if off instead of fixing it. Not a bad experience overall. It is a very quiet and relaxing area.

I have stayed in this hotel many times. This time I found that the bed was seriously collapsed. The single bed was against the wall on one side, and the bed surface was tilted, with the side against the wall higher and the outside lower. It was not easy to sleep. I think it was time to change the mattress.

Second stay in this hotel. This time I stayed for 3 days.
Things were ok but there were a couple of details that were not up to I expected.
Unfortunately, pool and steam room were still under renovations so only sauna was available.
One of the days, the cleaning lady took all my bath towels and forgot to replenish it and she just left me with only a single hand towel.
I had to do to the front office to ask for a set of bath towels to take shower. Shout out to Joaquim from front office, that he actually after his shift came up to hand me a new set of towels.
Also on the second day during breakfast I took an egg that was supposed to be boiled and after I cracked it, I made a mess of myself and the table, as the kitchen staff had put raw eggs on display, instead of boiled eggs.
I will still eventually choose to stay in this hotel as it has an amazing co-working lobby, a nice bar and an overall nice atmosphere, but these 2 events were not very pleasant.
Staying at Wine & Books was an amazing experience for a short business trip to Lisbon. Friendliness of the personal, the design and atmosphere of the hotel, the amazing breakfast and the gym have been exceptional. Highly recommended.
It is an old four-star hotel in a relatively quiet location. It is surrounded by residential buildings. It is 5 or 6 minutes' walk from the beach. The train station is 10 minutes away. Next door is a shopping mall for shopping, laundry, and supermarkets. It is more convenient. The hotel facilities are older and the rooms are on the thinner side. The bathtub design is not reasonable for showering. Water will spill out and wet the ground. Be very careful when entering and exiting. The air conditioner is either too cold or leaking. Parking, fitness and indoor swimming pools all require a separate fee. I have stayed in hotels in so many countries. Fortunately, this is the first time I encountered them. Fortunately, the hotel staff are very friendly and responsive. The thoughtful gift of a cake on my birthday is very nice😊 The breakfast is rich and delicious, and the bread is delicious. If you want to take a rest and vacation, it is a good choice👍

Exceeded expectations!
The hotel is conveniently located on Liberty Avenue, making it easy to go shopping, though it's a bit far from the main tourist areas. Perhaps it's because we stayed in a tourist district hotel for two days before moving here, but we found this hotel to be excellent! It's convenient without being overly busy, and there are good restaurant options nearby.
The hotel is new, and the lobby is quite spacious for Portugal, with a modern and stylish feel. In the evenings, there's live music (singing and piano) at the bar, which creates a wonderful atmosphere!
There's a rooftop pool where you can sunbathe and swim, very relaxing. The room size is moderate, and the windows are quite large, offering a distant view of the sea, which is lovely. The breakfast selection is also good and enjoyable.
The gym, located on floor -3, is the most comprehensive one we encountered during this trip. Highly impressive!
Highly recommended! I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance!

Very Good
GGuest UserThe room is clean and tidy, and the area is sufficient. The front desk service is warm. There are not many barriers to communication in Portuguese and English.
The breakfast is purely Western style, and the egg tarts are also delicious.
Don't buy water from the bar. Two bottles of water are 15 euros. There is a supermarket next door in about ten minutes' walk. Water is very cheap.

GGuest UserFacilities: Not bad, relatively new rooms
Hygiene: Spotless, quite satisfactory overall
Environment: Average, not much to visit nearby, need to walk a little further
Service: OK, but the English at the front desk is a bit average
김김유리You can walk to most of Lisbon's major tourist attractions, and the cleanliness and condition of the accommodation are both excellent.
However, the rooftop bar breakfast was one of the main reasons for choosing this accommodation,
but the white staff was extremely rude and unfriendly.
They seemed to ignore me even though I didn't speak English well.
There were many other staff members, but they didn't act like that and were friendly.
Ssusan ᐝAfter Sintra was ”abused” and went to Lisbon to rest, this hotel proved to be a good choice. The location is excellent, there are many shops and restaurants around, and it is very convenient to walk to the river and arco Augusta. The room is spacious, the various additional services provided by the hotel are superb, and I feel like I am back to the domestic hotel, such as drinking water and snacks in the lobby. The hotel also provides free breakfast to the room! The gym on the first floor is also a feature, and the surrounding environment is a Roman ruin! Special thanks to Mr. Nuno from the concierge for quickly arranging a comfortable car for me and a professional driver to safely deliver me to the concierge when I left the hotel to go to the concierge for the day I was forced to give up the pre-booked uber (the driver asked to cancel the order to pay in cash), Also very warmly recommended to me the restaurant he took his family to. In short, the four-night stay was very good and the hotel service was in place.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, the reception, hygiene and services are all very good, except that the room is slightly small. It's very convenient to go out and walk around. There is French Veal downstairs, so it's best to make a reservation in advance. The dessert shop in the hotel is also delicious, not too sweet, and is worth a try. Breakfast is a la carte and very rich. Staying for two days can save a lot of money.

The room is spacious and comfortable
