Overall, Bodhi Hotel is a good and practical choice for a short stay near the border.

A good hotel in Boten. The onsen was not filled with water, maybe because it was December. The room was new, high-tech and clean. Amazing bed and sleep. The staff could speak a little bit of English, but they tried their best and it all worked out in the end. Free shuttle to the train station.

Stayed for a night on a business trip, the location is not mentioned, because it is too small, there is no city center or city center, downstairs is full of food and play, including the kind you want to play, there is a big supermarket next door, I saw a few bad reviews before, maybe the peers are spoofing, The Lao waiter in the room was very serious. Let's start with the positives: the room was clean and tidy, but also completely overpriced. We had booked 3 nights through Trip.com and were told we'd have to switch rooms after two nights because they were fully booked. We were also told we could cancel the last night if we didn't want to stay. We wanted to check out the hotel first and said we'd get back to them. The odd thing was, we were the only guests. We ended up checking out a night early. We were told to cancel via Trip.com, and of course, a cancellation for the last night was not accepted. We also got the feeling they were glad to see us go. The supposed restaurant wasn't even open, so you have to go into the village. Incidentally, another reviewer was also fed the same story about the supposedly fully booked hotel. The breakfast was sufficient and the service was friendly.

The place is clean room is spavious even in my room equipped with fridge and single washing machine handy for me to do self laundry. The staff doesnot know English but instead understand Mandarin Chinese. The host owner lady is very friendly and will support you with information to local amenities and direction to thr train station or to the local bus station one bonus is they offef free shuttle service to/from Chins-Laos border checkpoint and hotel place. I would recommenf when staying in Boten.

This hotel offers great value for money. It's located in the heart of Boten city, with super spacious rooms, comfortable beds, large TVs, and a clean bathroom (the only downside is the broken toilet seat). It's a bit of a shame that I couldn't have a hot tea in the morning. Definitely worth staying here again.

Zuela Guesthouse is located at the very center of the small town of Luang Namtha. It’s right opposite to the Night Market which is great for a late night dinner after a long trek. Around the guesthouse are also all the major tour agencies with whom you can book tours. The place itself is nice, with traditional wooden architecture and nice bedrooms. Operating staff is very young and a bit inexperienced, so it can take a bit longer to get things through, but not a major issue to enjoy the stay. Breakfast has 4 different choices, each one is good. Beds are relatively comfortable but could use an upgrade in terms of mattresses and insulating rooms from outside. Big plus, they offer mountain bikes, scooters as well as dirt bikes for rent! Overall a very nice stay keeping in mind the location and the very limited options around.

Très bon rapport qualité prix, grandes chambres propres, literie agréable, un restaurant sur place aurait été apprécié car très peu de restaurants à Muang Sing. Les extérieurs manquent un peu d'entretien.
