On the day we checked in, we couldn’t get a taxi at the bus station due to heavy snow. The hotel sent a car to pick us up. We were so touched. The driver was a hero.
The town is very small, and the hotel is only a 5-minute walk from supermarkets and restaurants. We went to Black Lake that day, hailed a taxi, and then walked back to the hotel.
The breakfast is very warm, the boss and his family are very amiable, and the coffee smells so good
It's a pity that there is no dinner in the hotel. I don't know if it's because of winter.
If you want to clean the room, you need to tell the front desk.
The boss took us to the bus station and what was funny was that he pretended to be a taxi driver hahaha
I miss the snowy days in Zabljak a bit...
Montenegro ski resort, the highest altitude town in the Balkans, came in the off-season, the hotel was not crowded, and the room was upgraded. The hotel is on the road, driving to the town or Dumitor National Park for about ten minutes, if the weather is good, you can see the snowy mountains in the distance. The hotel's dinner is worth a try. I blindly ordered two main dishes, no thunder, whether it is taste or price than most Western restaurants in Shanghai.
The cabin is very comfortable. With the three bedrooms upstairs and downstairs, plus the large sofas, our family of five lived very comfortably. The kitchen supplies are also complete. We made a delicious Chinese meal here (the only meal in Serbia). The mountain area is relatively cold. It is less than ten degrees at night in mid-July. The heating should be very comfortable in winter. There is a sauna!
One of the points of our trip to Montenegro was the town of Zabljak with the wonderful Black Lake nature reserve. For the night, we chose the Soa hotel and this is the best choice in this place. Convenient location, clean room, pleasant service. On the ground floor there is a restaurant with excellent Montenegrin cuisine!
It is about 10 minutes walk to the reserve.
And this is one of the most beautiful places and definitely a must-see.
Enjoy the great views from this bright spacious and very well equipped log & stone chalet, ideally situated in beautiful Durmitor National Park, just 250 metres from ski-lifts yet only 2-3 km from Zabljak centre. Warm with double glazing and new insulation and wood fired stove & central heating (radiators in every room). Downstairs is large open plan lounge/dining area with lounge, dining area, 2 bathrooms and storage in entrance hall. Well equipped including flat screen HDTV, satellite TV, DVD/CD player plus guide books etc. or just enjoy the excellent mountain views!Upstairs are 3 bedrooms with 7 single beds & 1 double bed plus a bathroom (toilet/sink) and hallway/storage area - great for couples or large groups.Accessible in winter - just 20 metres from regularly snowploughed main road to ski-lifts. Skiing and summer cable cars walking distance, only 250 metres away.3000 litre emergency water tank, wood stove & gas/electric cooker & emergency generator ensure no inconvenience.ood skiing and walking just 250 metres away:About pets:Pets allowed: dogs and cats (limit 4 total).About checkOut:Flexible check-out available (contact host to arrange).About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Flexible check-in available (contact host in advance of arrival).About smoking:Smoking allowed: in designated areas.About events:No events allowed.
