The place was alright for sleeping and resting. Rooms were clean and properly equipped with tv, clean bed sheets and comforters, a blow dryer and working ac. The free breakfast was ok too, nothing fancy but fresh. Price rate was reasonable for what the hotel offered.
A clean and comfortable hotel in a very safe and upscale part of Tijuana. You are a five minute walk to shopping at Plaza Rio, and a 10 minute walk to the Tijuana cultural center. Revolution street is about a 15 minute walk. Uber is now in Tijuana so transportation is easy and safe too.
Well, knowing that this hotel belongs to the Marriott family, it is surprisingly basic. Of course clean but with little care in the interior, the lights the way the customer is received, in general, small things make life better, and here at this Marriott could have been improved very easily. In Tijuana people travel by Uber or taxis from the hotel for many reasons, especially because of poor public transportation, thus, customers wait in the hotel lobby for their taxis, and many customers can coincide at the same time, and there is only a sofa and two armchairs (3 squeezed and 2 like Winston Churchill in single seats) and nowhere else to rest yourself or your bags. This is making the experience a bit off a sort of train station-ish platform. The breakfast is acceptable, providing all you need, but the the dinning area is very dark, badly lighted, to be honest you can’t hardly guess the time at all. The furniture there is very cheap, and doesn’t make you feel I want to read tye newspaper while having breakfast but I just want to finish and leave this 7/11 store. I am sure that I might sound a bit picky, but I am not, it is very easy to make small changes, non expensive that can improve the whole experience greatly. It is a Not a cheap place to stay, let’s remember this.
Very good location and good service. The room is clean and has a kitchen and refrigerator, it does not have dishes but everything is very well equipped
Disadvantages: This hotel is in the city center, the traffic volume is relatively large nearby, the sound insulation effect of the room is not ideal. Another point is that this hotel does not provide breakfast (it is a high-class hotel nearby, after all, the accommodation fee is so high) Advantages: Excellent location, convenient transportation, close to the airport and long-distance bus station. The best place to enjoy the lively, diagonally opposite the hotel is a well-known RIO shopping plaza, which has Adi Nike stores, well-known cosmetics stores, Apple stores, etc., a small partner who knows Spanish, about a Mexican girl. In the Spanish-style love movie (about), there is a Starbucks coffee shop under the hotel. You can have a cup of matcha star ice music (personal preference) in the afternoon. If you can’t sleep at night, you can also think of your sister. Come to the small bar next to the hotel lobby for a drink, and have a good night's sleep. Maybe there will be an affair in your dreams. Last reminder: Tijuana is a relatively bad border city in Mexico (the murder rate of drug abuse is high), so nothing to run around.
Came here on a business trip, it's very close to the company I was visiting, stayed here for three nights in a row, the room was similar to our Home Inn, but the price was four times as much, there was no other way, the prices were too expensive, I basically didn't go out at night.

GGuest UserWe really enjoyed our stay with a few minor exceptions. Unfortunately the TV in our room didn’t work eventhough it was connected to wifi. The phone in the room didn’t work so we had to use our personal phones. The shower head is a rainfall type, but the water sprayed out in all directions instead of straight down which made it a little tricky to shower. The rooms have a system in which the room key is required to have electricity in the whole room. If you take it off, everything turns off. That means you can’t leave things charging unless you get a second key? We also were told that we could check out later the day off, but that was not an option because the hotel was so booked.
Even though there were a few icks, it was overall a nice place to stay. The staff are very friendly and respectful. The bed is comfortable, the sheets smell great, the rooms are very clean, and the building is beautiful! It has a 5ft pool and a small jacuzzi (no bubbles) just warmer water than the pool. Pool water is great temperature. There is also a spa and massage services on the very first floor! Overall a nice place and I’d recommend it!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located in the city, close to the city center. The appearance and room decoration are good, but you can't appreciate it carefully. The bed is very soft and easy to sink into. The water in the wash basin easily overflows and wets clothes. There is no hair dryer, you need to ask the front desk. The bed sheets are not clean. After communicating with Ctrip, the hotel said that the check-out will be delayed to 3 o'clock. Thank you for Ctrip's assistance
OOctavio VenegasVery good location and good service. The room is clean and has a kitchen and refrigerator, it does not have dishes but everything is very well equipped
GGuest UserThis is my second visit to the Quartz for medical tourism. The location is perfect in a nice part of town and the upper plaza has its own level connected to the New City Medical building and so medical offices are easily and safely accessible to guests. Pool and spa were well maintained and a beautiful garden is also out in the area. Within walking distance is a market and a ****** and little shops. Taxis are easy to find should you need.
The rooms are exceptionally clean with comfortable robes and attention to details like lighting and temperature. The staff is pleasant and there is always someone who speaks English well enough to communicate. They are friendly and helpful. There is an upscale Spa and artist feel to the place. I will be back.
GGuest UserGOOD: hotel is secluded and secure due to its gated parking lot distancing the hotel from public access way. It has onsite restaurant with outstanding Rib Eye steak for $20. Most staff speaks some level of English and they allow guest(s). Its located close enough to walk to night spots but far enough to get good night rest.
BAD: bed is not the greatest and linens dont cover the entire mattress. Shower has warm water, room is basic with limited channels on tv.
UGLY: gym is unsat. Everything is broken. Canvas roof is in poor state as it appears to soon collapse from rain water collection. Floors epseems always be dirty and walls between rooms are thin. Price increases during the week and overall property seems to be deteriorating.
刘刘Although breakfast is included, it costs nearly $30 for two people. interesting. As long as you eat in the cafeteria, you have to attach it. I don't understand how the Mexicans counted. The breakfast included in the hotel is only 2 slices of bread, coffee and fruit.
GGuest UserHotel is a on a nice little area. There were no huge issues but also nothing above the ordinary. Our cabanas were clean. 4 of their 6 houses are by the pool, working WiFi, electronic doors and rooftop decks. The other two houses are in a gulch, with sliding access doors that don’t really work and keys that don’t really lock. WiFi doesn’t work down there. Funny enough there is no cell reception either. If you need to work, go elsewhere. There is no check in or staff anywhere. If I was in one of the other units it probably would’ve been a 4/5. This place is probably worth $100 a night. 200-300 is overpriced in my opinion
