Savoy is a good hotel, as it is located in the very center of Mactan, not far from the beach. The staff is friendly, on the first floor they give a towel and an entrance to the beach. The room was quiet, as was the whole hotel. On the first day they gave a dessert, it was nice and sweet. The water pressure in the room is good, there was always hot water. A gym and a swimming pool are available. The hotel was very humid, so things took a long time to dry. The floor in the room was dirty, as if it was never wiped.

Safety: As a solo traveler, safety is paramount, and this hotel truly delivered. With security checks at the entrance and a second one in the lobby, I felt completely at ease throughout my stay.
Facilities: Overall, the facilities were quite good. While not a brand-new hotel, the rooms were spacious and impeccably clean. The air conditioning was strong, and it was very quiet at night, which allowed me to sleep so soundly that I missed breakfast and ended up ordering takeout via Grab.
The rooftop pool wasn't very large, but I went up to lounge for a bit. After several days of diving, I was too tired to actually swim.
Service: Service was very responsive. During check-in, the staff mentioned I had the option to waive the deposit, and they even upgraded my room.

We had an excellent stay with the whole family! The accommodation was very clean, spacious, and comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day of activities. Crown Regency Suites Mactan provides good service and very nice amenities. The staff are respectful and accommodating, making the stay pleasant. The room is beautiful, clean, and comfortable — a great place to relax.

We stayed here for one night after a Category 4 Typhoon hit my home in Liloan, Cebu, Philippines. It was the sleep and rest we needed after such a traumatizing experience. The checkin experience was swift and seamless. The housekeeping personnel who added the bed was courteous and efficient. The security team made sure that our valuables are well taken care of. There is a reason why Radisson in Cebu is a respected and highly revered brand. Our testimony is just one of the reasons why.

It’s amazing stay, I’ve unknowingly booked a small balcony thinking it is the larger one. However, when i explained to the front desk they were sweet enough to upgrade me for free.
This is the second time I stay here, and if I would visit again, I’ll stay here for sure.

The hotel is fine and the staffs are accommodating. One important issue is the convenience of going from the airport to the hotel cause there is no lift in the parking area.

We had a wonderful stay at Costabella. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The room was immaculate, with modern furnishings that combined comfort and functionality. The bed was plush and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep. I particularly appreciated the spacious bathroom and the availability of essential amenities that catered to every need. The Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable, which was a great plus for staying connected.
The hotel's common areas, including the lobby and dining spaces, were well-maintained and exuded a sophisticated yet cozy ambiance. The breakfast selection was varied and delicious, featuring local and international dishes that appealed to all palates. The in-house restaurant staff was attentive and ensured a delightful dining experience.
What truly set the Tsai Hotel apart was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, always greeting me with warm smiles and a willingness to assist with any request.
While everything was close to perfect, a minor improvement could be enhancing soundproofing in the rooms to block out occasional street noise. Nonetheless, this did not significantly detract from my overall experience.
I highly recommend the Tsai Hotel and Residences to anyone visiting the area. It offers excellent value for money, a prime location, and impeccable service that guarantees a memorable stay. I am looking forward to returning on my next trip!

CCarlito BurritoWe stayed for 3 nights and the accommodation & service was perfect. All rooms are facing the pool area. The breakfast buffet is excellent 🌟, and it really motivates you to wake up early!
I requested a birthday surprise setup in our room, and they went extra mile and provided it for free as a complimentary gesture.
The room is very spacious, and they provide toiletries. If you need extra toiletries, they will deliver it right away!
The pool area is great for swimming, especially during happy hour. They offer a buy-one-get-one-free deal on drinks at the pool bar.
The hotel is walking distance of Alona Beach and it’s very safe, as you just walk through Hennan Alona to get to the beach. It’s also close to restaurants, fast food, souvenir shops. 8mins away from the Panglao Airport.
We’ll definitely stay here again when we return to Bohol. It’s worth every penny. If I could rate it more stars, I will! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our villa was simply magnificent: spacious, stylish and very cozy. Snow-white bed linen and impeccable cleanliness created a feeling of real luxury.
The hotel staff are real professionals! Very responsive, sincere and always ready to help. When we decided to rent a bike, it was delivered right to the hotel - new, powerful, for only 500 pesos per day. It was incredibly convenient for trips to Alon Beach (only 7 km) and to local attractions.
I would like to separately note the breakfasts. The food was delicious, fresh and prepared with love. A real pleasure to start the day with such dishes!
We were pleased with the proximity to the street with cafes and restaurants - literally a few minutes walk. This allowed us to try many local dishes and not depend on transport.
Special thanks for organizing an early breakfast before our departure - everything was ready at 5:30, and the transfer to the airport was waiting for us on time.
E L Westensee Resort is a place where you want to come back! The warm atmosphere, perfect cleanliness and caring approach to each guest made our vacation simply unforgettable!

BBubbleChimpGood for experienced divers but not for new divers, solo travellers, relaxing beach time or a deluxe experience even though it was £200+ a night so I did not think it was good value.
For me it was just the wrong choice and I didn't do enough research. The main disappointment comes down to me basing my expectations on the price instead of the 3 star rating. I haven't paid that much for a hotel before and usually go for 4 or 5 star places so I just don't understand the pricing, maybe that's just how it is in the Philippines. The staff and service are good, breakfast and the room are ok, spa and diving are the good amenities so it might be the diving location which warrants the price.
Lunch and dinner are good. I recommend the honey yoghurt muesli with mango and the chicken salad (with a dressing) for breakfast. Everything I had on the lunch/dinner menu was great - the tom kha gai soup, Dorado, burger, curry etc all good. Small range of beers and cocktails available but cocktails were good too.
The room and bathroom are fine for 3 star standards. There is termite stuff falling from the wood beams and dead moths or similar insects on shelves which did not get cleaned away.
The Swedish massage was good, I recommend Gail. The shiatsu was painful and pinched my skin so she switched to Swedish. The pool is murky and not enticing to swim in, lots of mozzies around it too.
I much preferred the beach and water conditions further down at Dauin. I like to relax on a nice beach and swim etc. that's where the great snorkeling is too. But the water at Atlantis is too rough and windy and the beach too narrow.
Although the dive masters are great for leading dives and probably for the other diving skills, I wouldn't recommend getting your open water certificate here especially if you're at all nervous about it. There were some differences with the SSI videos like being able to practise boat entry in the pool first and using a snorkel that I would have preferred what with the condition of the water there. The beach, water and entry conditions are so much better 20-30min down the beach at Dauin, Bongo Bongo beach. I managed to earn my open water and it was the reason for this trip but it wasn't a pleasant experience and I watched the divers enter at Dauin quite jealously.
Considering you can do 4-5 dives a day here plus a day for Apo island, I think 3-4 days here would be perfect.
The hotel tour prices were a bit more expensive than others I found and they do not arrange joiner tours so as a solo traveller, their tours were prohibitively expensive. For some reason there were no joiner tours available outside the hotel either, I don't know if that's because of the season (jan-feb) or that's usual for the Philippines but it's the first time I've experienced that in my travels.
The tour to Apo Island is good and well arranged. The only thing is as a snorkeler you have to wait until after lunch to get to the shallow turtle area but it was great and a benefit of going with the hotel is you leave on their boat right from the hotel, no need to drive to the ferry.

Also the swimming pool are amazing too and i made a friend with Earl a great polite friendly guy at the bottom pool bar. JJan MoreThe staff were so nice and accommodating. They truly cared for us when the earthquake happened on the night we were sleeping in our rooms. We used the stairs from the 5th floor post incident fearing for the aftershocks…we all stayed by the under renovation pool to stay away from the building in case it collapsed. The building swayed so much with the 6.9 magnitude..it was scary. The staff were calm and kept us all comfortable despite being scared themselves too. They helped us all moved to the 2nd floor after midnight post safety inspection.

She gave us wrong room because i booked mountain view then what we got is a wall, she said the mountain is behind that wall, omg, how come?..but later on she called again and transferred us to another room with mountain view, ok fine. But what dissapoints us more is when she called again and said, that they will get the set of cups from our new room for the reason that we already used the cups on the first room that she gave us, and that makes me mad, is that a big thing? Because of that we never use their cups, instead we buy our own. When we confront her, she’s not apologetic but instead answering us stupidly. Another thing is their flat iron is for rent, 200 pesos every 1 hour of using it. We have many travels abroad and have checked in several hotels, Ist time in history that I encountered a hotel like that only in Cebu
