Booked it last minute when I arrived at the North Bus Terminal. The room was okay and clean. The location is ideal — right opposite the bus terminal, near SM City, and there’s a 7-11 on the ground floor. It can be a bit noisy due to the bus terminal and ongoing construction on the opposite building. Breakfast is buffet style, mainly Filipino dishes. Overall, the stay was okay.

Great service by Eunard. We arrived late to the hotel at 11pm because our domestic flight from manila got delayed. He arranged for us breakfast at 3:45am to be sent to our hotel room as we were planning to go to oslob for the whale shark watching at 5am. Aside from that, there was great first aid medical assistance when needed. There was free shuttle service to airport, two swimming pools and gym & spa facilities. Housekeeping service was prompt and friendly too. Highly recomended. It is also pretty near to SM city seaside, a huge mall with almost everything you could ever want, although there is also a mall connected to the hotel too with a convenience store for light snacks at night.

The room was clean & modern. Bed was comfy. The charging pods were right next to the bed, and they even have a USB port - which made it super convenient having your phone right next to the bed charging. Light switches is also next to the bed, so you don’t need to walk to turn off/on the room lights. Downside is the bathroom, where there is no shower glass to prevent the water from over spilling into the other parts of the bathroom. Water drainage for the shower & sink is not very good, they do take a while to drain. Hair dryer is available but it’s not very powerful, almost impossible to dry your hair. No drinking water provided in  the room, but they do have water distiller for each floor. There is a kettle & fridge in each room. Breakfast is not buffet style, it’s more of a fixed set of menu for you to choose from. Hotel does provide complimentary luggage storage services for guests, and the concierge will help you to flag down a taxi if you need to hitch a ride to the airport.

The room was fantastic—spacious, modern, and incredibly clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, making it easy to get a great night's sleep. The shower was also excellent, with great water pressure and plenty of hot water, which is always a plus after a long day. Breakfast at the hotel was also great. With big variety and good quality of the food. From fresh fruit and pastries to hot dishes, everything was delicious and well-prepared. However, the check-in process was a bit slow. It seemed like the front desk was understaffed or perhaps dealing with a system issue, which caused some delays. Additionally, I was disappointed to find out that the swimming pool was under renovation during my stay. It would have been nice to know this in advance, as I was looking forward to using it after a long day in a car. Despite these minor inconveniences, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider returning.

The room was clean, and the location was convenient, right next to a Chinese church. The breakfast was fantastic! The staff were all very welcoming. The rooftop pool was clean, had attentive service, provided towels, and you could even order food there. SM Big Mall is definitely worth a visit!

Thank you, Holiday Inn Cebu. My family and I had a great time staying there for a few days. Lovely was truly lovely—it really suited her name. She was the most accommodating from the very start. We wanted to thank her again during check-out, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to see her. She went above and beyond in hospitality, and you’re lucky to have her. Keep up the great work. As for breakfast—OMG, we loved it! Special mention to the one who makes the coffee. Just a small note: it would be nice to improve or change the chafing dishes so the food stays hot. Other than that, the food and service were great. I will definitely choose this hotel from now on, as we always stay in the city for a few days before heading to our rest house. See you again soon, and thank you for the birthday cake and balloons!

This was a truly satisfying stay; the hotel's overall quality is very high. The room was clean, tidy, and odorless, with comfortable bedding and soft pillows, ensuring a fantastic night's sleep. The facilities were comprehensive and easy to use, and the internet speed was excellent. The service was top-notch; the front desk staff were kind and patient, and the cleaning aunties were very polite. The environment was quiet with good soundproofing, so we weren't disturbed at night. The location is excellent, making travel convenient, and there are many dining options nearby. The cleanliness was meticulous, with no overlooked corners. The price was reasonable and offered great value for money. It's suitable for both short business trips and longer stays, and I highly recommend it.

It’s our first time staying at Hennan Premiere Coast for our anniversary and the staff went above and beyond to decorate the room for us. We are beyond grateful and our stay at this hotel was memorable. The staff were so helpful and accomodating and the location is perfect as it is right by the beach, breakfast buffet has a lot of options to choose from korean, filipino, full breakfast. Whether you choose to swim at the beach or lounge at the pool areas, the staff is ready to take your order or to help you with ammenity concerns. There was a power outage in the area due to the earthquake but the hotel is equipped with generators and the staff made sure that everyone is safe. We would definitely be coming back.😍😍😍😍

LLeif ReyYou get what you pay for with this hotel. Although some of the appliances are old they still get the job done. The smart tv was a great addition to the room as it allowed us to watch and stream movies and tv shows. The only disappointing part was the internet connection as it wasn't stable and it wasn't fast enough to use reliably if you wanted to work.

AAnonymous UserWe booked two rooms for 7 nights at the Sheraton Cebu Mactan. We are two families traveling together with three young children and a pregnant wife. We were excited for a relaxing vacation, but after just 4 days, we wanted to check out early. The hotel agreed to refund only one room (around 900–1000 USD), but refused to refund the second room. This decision was made even though the hotel is completely full (Chinese New Year, peak season). Our rooms could have been sold to other guests immediately, so there was no financial risk to the hotel. Why We Wanted to Leave Early: 1. Food Issues (Very Important for Muslim Families) The hotel is in an isolated location with no restaurants nearby. The on-site restaurants serve mostly spicy Asian food, often containing pork. As Muslim families with young children, we cannot eat spicy food or pork. This made every meal a struggle. 2. Transportation (A Nightmare) Getting a taxi is extremely difficult. · When we wanted to leave the hotel to go to the city, we often waited over an hour for a taxi. · When we tried to return to the hotel from the city (like Cebu), we waited up to 2 hours because drivers refuse to come to this hotel. · Even within the Mactan area, finding a taxi was not easy. · The hotel offers a transfer service, but it costs 2–3 times more than a regular taxi. For a family, this is not a practical solution. 3. Maintenance Issues On the very first day, we reported that the sink was clogged – water drained very slowly. We were promised it would be fixed. After 3 days, nothing had been done. On day 3, I personally told the General Manager, Mr. Robin Bernard, about the problem. He said: ”No problem, I will solve it.” But even after his promise, nothing happened. Finally, on day 4, housekeeping came to our room. We showed them the problem by running the water. They saw it immediately and called an engineer, who fixed it within 20 minutes. Mr. Bernard's promise meant nothing. The regular staff fixed it. Our Conversation with Management We requested an early checkout. Mr. Ross Bautista genuinely tried to help us. He suggested a possible refund for one room and arranged a meeting with his superior to discuss our case. That meeting was with General Manager Robin Bernard. Here is what happened: · He claimed he ”knew the situation”, but could not explain any details. We had to tell him everything again: about the children, the pregnant wife, the food, the transportation. · Throughout the conversation, he was arrogant and condescending. It felt like he was not listening, just waiting for us to finish. · We explained that the hotel was fully booked (Chinese New Year, peak season), so letting us leave early would not hurt his business. The rooms would be sold again immediately. · His response was shocking. He looked at us and said, word for word: ”You should not think about my business. It's my concern.” Then, one minute later, when we asked for understanding, he said: ”I have to think about my business.” There is no logic. It felt like he just wanted to show his power and punish us for asking. The result? Nothing changed. Ross Bautista tried, but his hands were tied. Robin Bernard simply confirmed his original decision and showed zero empathy. As long as Mr. Robin Bernard is the General Manager, we will never return to this hotel. His arrogance, empty promises, and complete lack of care for families with children and special dietary needs are destroying the reputation of this Sheraton. To other Muslim families or anyone traveling with young children: I strongly recommend choosing a different hotel. Here, your needs will be ignored if the manager does not feel like helping.

GGuest UserI'm leaving this review in the hopes that it will be helpful to those traveling to Bohol. 1. Location: Since it's far from Alona Beach, I had to pay an additional 300 pesos one way for the free massage pickup and drop-off. 2. Facilities: The room was very comfortable and bright, perfect for putting on makeup. The mattress and bedding were nice, and the single beds came with two pillows, which was very comfortable. 3. Pool: The water was clean and regularly maintained, so it was great for swimming. At other resorts, I've never been in the water. 4. Meals: Breakfast was included, which was simple but filling and delicious. It was also nice to be able to order other meals whenever I wanted, which was also delicious. 5. Service: The staff were all friendly, and since it's not a busy area, they provided hotel pickup and drop-off for nearby areas and called tuk-tuks for further places. Grab wasn't available. 6. Overall: This is a resort I'd stay at again when I want a quiet and relaxing stay, but the distance from the city center was a bit inconvenient. This resort is great for water activities. I went shopping at ICM for 400 pesos one way, but I like to wander around nearby, so I moved to Alona Beach and had some fun. Because it's surrounded by mountains, there were so many mosquitoes that I think I killed about 10 a day. Ask for an electric mosquito coil to minimize the damage. This is a resort I highly recommend, but the biggest drawback is the mosquitoes.

BBubbleChimpGood for experienced divers but not for new divers, solo travellers, relaxing beach time or a deluxe experience even though it was £200+ a night so I did not think it was good value. For me it was just the wrong choice and I didn't do enough research. The main disappointment comes down to me basing my expectations on the price instead of the 3 star rating. I haven't paid that much for a hotel before and usually go for 4 or 5 star places so I just don't understand the pricing, maybe that's just how it is in the Philippines. The staff and service are good, breakfast and the room are ok, spa and diving are the good amenities so it might be the diving location which warrants the price. Lunch and dinner are good. I recommend the honey yoghurt muesli with mango and the chicken salad (with a dressing) for breakfast. Everything I had on the lunch/dinner menu was great - the tom kha gai soup, Dorado, burger, curry etc all good. Small range of beers and cocktails available but cocktails were good too. The room and bathroom are fine for 3 star standards. There is termite stuff falling from the wood beams and dead moths or similar insects on shelves which did not get cleaned away. The Swedish massage was good, I recommend Gail. The shiatsu was painful and pinched my skin so she switched to Swedish. The pool is murky and not enticing to swim in, lots of mozzies around it too. I much preferred the beach and water conditions further down at Dauin. I like to relax on a nice beach and swim etc. that's where the great snorkeling is too. But the water at Atlantis is too rough and windy and the beach too narrow. Although the dive masters are great for leading dives and probably for the other diving skills, I wouldn't recommend getting your open water certificate here especially if you're at all nervous about it. There were some differences with the SSI videos like being able to practise boat entry in the pool first and using a snorkel that I would have preferred what with the condition of the water there. The beach, water and entry conditions are so much better 20-30min down the beach at Dauin, Bongo Bongo beach. I managed to earn my open water and it was the reason for this trip but it wasn't a pleasant experience and I watched the divers enter at Dauin quite jealously. Considering you can do 4-5 dives a day here plus a day for Apo island, I think 3-4 days here would be perfect. The hotel tour prices were a bit more expensive than others I found and they do not arrange joiner tours so as a solo traveller, their tours were prohibitively expensive. For some reason there were no joiner tours available outside the hotel either, I don't know if that's because of the season (jan-feb) or that's usual for the Philippines but it's the first time I've experienced that in my travels. The tour to Apo Island is good and well arranged. The only thing is as a snorkeler you have to wait until after lunch to get to the shallow turtle area but it was great and a benefit of going with the hotel is you leave on their boat right from the hotel, no need to drive to the ferry.
