Our stay was excellent, definitely a paradise for families with kids. Upon check-in, Joey gave us a tour of the hotel facilities and even spoke Cantonese, which was a thoughtful touch. The overall service at the hotel was fantastic. We chose a family room for two nights, then moved to an overwater villa for another two. The beach villa had ample space, with a separate area upstairs featuring a double bunk bed and a play area. It also had a private pool with direct access to the beach, which was very convenient. The hotel butler service was top-notch; whenever our kids tracked sand inside, someone would promptly come to clean it. The transition to the overwater villa was seamless. They arranged the change of rooms efficiently, so as soon as our luggage was packed, someone was there to assist, which was very considerate and saved us time. We opted for the all-inclusive meal plan, and all the restaurants were delicious, with many options to choose from. I highly recommend getting the meal package, otherwise, à la carte prices can be quite steep. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and ordering drinks as much as we liked; it’s an even better deal if you drink alcohol, as it's unlimited. The entire hotel ambiance was wonderful, and we had a very enjoyable experience throughout our stay. Kids under 11 get free children's meals. Tip: When booking on Trip.com, choose the package with airport transfer for the first two days. You don't need to select it for the latter two days; they will help arrange it for your departure day.

A. Family trip, two villas. One sunset deluxe beach pool villa, and one sunset beach pool villa. 1. The deluxe villa is very luxurious and new, with air conditioning in the bathroom, but it's far from the restaurant and relatively further from the beach compared to non-deluxe rooms. 2. The regular villa is next to the restaurant, very close to the main pool and the lobby. However, it's older than the deluxe villa and its bathroom doesn't have air conditioning. B. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 20-minute speedboat ride from Malé airport. C. We bought the full board package. The restaurant specializes in Indian cuisine, which we really enjoyed. Juices and beverages are only available at breakfast. For lunch and dinner, you can only order à la carte; soft drinks are $5, juices are $10, plus an additional 27% service charge and tax. Haha... D. The excursions are too expensive, it really hurt my wallet (see picture). It's better to book them on a local island. E. You can snorkel near the overwater bungalows and the jetty, but there aren't many marine creatures, and the water quality is just average. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money. Next time, I definitely need to visit a local island, it's so much more economical... PS. It's best to download WhatsApp in advance. Our butler didn't really use WeChat and was often unreachable...

This hotel is super close to the airport, just a 10-minute speedboat ride away. It just opened last year, so all the facilities are brand new. The breakfast and dinner buffets are quite generous. I stayed one night as a layover. Plus, they give you a $20 credit per person per night to spend on the island, which you can even use at the souvenir shop. The greenery is still developing, so it needs a bit more time to fully grow in. The pool in the waterfront room is large, but there aren't many fish if you try to swim directly from the room, and there's a breakwater right in front.

Finally done with work, I can now write a review about the Maldives. I feel like the hotel I picked this time was exceptionally good. The hotel offers complimentary round-trip speedboat transfers. Our flight arrived around 10:00 AM, and while the normal check-in time in the Maldives is 2:00 PM, we arrived at the hotel around 11:00 AM and they still arranged a room for us immediately, so we could rest without waiting at the front desk. The front desk had a lovely lady who spoke Chinese, and she was incredibly polite and friendly. The only minor drawback was that I couldn't see anything while snorkeling here, which might also be due to my skill level. There are three islands connected, with a total of three hotels and over a dozen restaurants. I originally thought I wouldn't find much good food in the Maldives, but the hotel's food was surprisingly delicious. We chose the half-board option. For dinner, you could pick any restaurant and choose three dishes. All the staff were very friendly. On our last day, our flight was at 9:00 PM, and while normal check-out is at noon, they allowed us to stay until 5:30 PM before transferring us, which was perfect for heading to the airport. The most touching part was that one of our travel companions had a birthday, and while we were out, the hotel secretly put a cake and wine in our room. It was truly very touching and an unexpected surprise. This trip to the Maldives was incredibly surprising and delightful; I had a wonderful time!

This is a perfect place for a good holiday! The hotel is really clean and brand-new. The rooms are very cosy, cleaned every day, the view from the balcony is really nice. Talking about the food, it can seem simple, but actually it’s very tasty and nutritious, you never feel hungry. The desserts are also really nice. The working team is very friendly, they always try to do their best. We also went fishing from the hotel, guys were really helpful, everything was amazing. If you’re not sure about this place because of some reviews, I should tell you, that if a person wants to find something bad, he definitely will. Island is small, yes, but that’s good, not so many people are there, the beach and water is clean, you still have some shops with everything you need. We have never smelt any smell from the trash burning mentioned in the reviews. We would definitely recommend this place, it has been one of our best experiences with sea holidays so far. What can be improved for the hotel: if you have an opportunity, add more sun beds to the beach with the umbrellas. It’s not that bad, but probably not always enough for all your tourists. All the rest was just amazing! We would like to come back!

Food & Drinks: Wide buffet & à la carte options at affordable prices, with non-alcoholic beverages. Dinner with live music made evenings extra special. Sisha option was also a alternative choice as island not serving alcohol. Breakfast buffet was good healthy choice with friendly service staff specially Hasan ali (friendly and professional man) Abash attentive and prompt service.Hasim/mahmood and one indian lady from Lucknow( good recommendation and suggestive selling) Nightlife & Activities: Relaxing and charming nightlife. Night vibes was really amazing dining ambience is same as five star resort level. Water sports like stingrays and sharks snorkelling and Sandbank full days tours were unforgettable. Reservations cheking and checkout processes was little tired For guests on long journeys who arrive early at the airport (e.g., 9:00 AM) but have transfers to the island only at 13:00, consider providing alternative options such as a comfortable lounge, refreshments, or earlier boat transfers. Waiting 4+ hours after a long 9-hour flight can be tiring, so small adjustments would greatly improve guest experience. It can be borrowed & later returned via the reception. Unforgettable Highlights Snorkeling from the Villa: One of the best parts of the stay was being able to jump straight into the crystal clear water for snorkeling right under my room. The marine life is vibrant and right at your doorstep. Dolphins at Breakfast: Imagine sipping your morning coffee and watching dolphins play in the distance. We were lucky enough to spot them during breakfast, which was a magical way to start the day. Stargazing: During serene night, either near the beach or while you slowly brisk walking back to your room, it’s surely the perfect place to just enjoy the Maldivian night sky with the beautiful shining stars smiling at you. The Staff: The service here is world-class. Every staff member is genuinely kind, attentive, and dedicated to making your stay perfect. They really go the extra mile to ensure you feel at home. The Perfect Cure for Burnout The atmosphere at Grand Park Kodhipparu is incredibly quiet and private. It is the perfect place to sit with a book, listen to the waves, and clear your mind. I left the island feeling like a new person, with a renewed spirit and a calm heart. Final Verdict: A 10/10 experience. Whether you are seeking luxury or a deep mental reset, this is the place to be. We cannot recommend it enough! 😘

We were completely satisfied with our vacation! The hotel isn't new, but everything is in good condition. It's an excellent hotel for its price-quality ratio. It's only a 15-minute speedboat ride from Malé. We booked through Trip.com and were met individually. The best standard rooms are 175-200, facing the best beach with a house reef. More expensive room categories are in less swimmable locations. Housekeeping twice a day. The food is varied, with something new for lunch and dinner every day – fish, chicken, seafood day, lamb day. The all-inclusive cocktails are a bit watered down and the selection is limited, but you can't say anything was missing. The corals on the house reef are a bit tired, but there are many fish, small sharks, and it's beautiful overall; we swam every day and never got bored. On the opposite side from the main beach is the beautiful Bandos Rock reef – there's never anyone there, and there seemed to be more marine life. Excursions need to be booked well in advance, several days ahead – there's swimming with manta rays, sharks, fishing, and dolphins – there likely won't be spots if you try to book the day before. There's a sufficient amount of Russian-speaking staff, including many great guys from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

One of the best decisions I made during my trip to the Maldives was staying at Oblu Select Sangeli. I had an incredible and unforgettable experience there. I booked the water villa with private pool and it was stunning, offering the perfect balance between luxury and privacy. The private pool was the ideal spot to enjoy the sunsets and turquoise waters. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed during my stay. If you are looking for a luxurious experience in the Maldives, I highly recommend the Water villa with private pool at Oblu Select Sangeli. It truly was a dreamy destination, and I can’t wait to go back!

The hotel is a bit old, but it's well-maintained. The staff are very friendly and proactively greet guests. However, the guy who checked us out was a bit aloof and didn't smile at all. What's truly commendable is that after we left the hotel by speedboat, we realized we had left an item behind. The staff immediately turned around and went back to the hotel to retrieve it for us. Their professionalism and dedication really deserve praise.
