My recent stay with you from September 7 - 11 was nothing short of extraordinary. While the five-star rating is a given, I wanted to write a more personal review to highlight exactly what made our time so memorable. Lily at the Front Desk: Her warm welcome set the tone for our entire vacation. The Housekeeping Team: They are absolute artists of their craft. Our room was not just cleaned, but thoughtfully tidied and restocked twice daily. You have created something truly special. The resort provides the perfect stage, but your staff are the stars of the show. Thank you for an unforgettable experience. We left not just relaxed and rejuvenated, but genuinely happy.

This hotel is great, especially if you're traveling with friends or family. You can't go wrong choosing this one in Maafushi. The hygiene and facilities are excellent, and the environment is simply beautiful. The beach and swimming area are right downstairs. The food is pretty good too. Highly recommended.

Our vacation at Grand Park has come to an end, and I'd love to share my thoughts 🌴. First off, this was our first time in the Maldives, and we were absolutely thrilled. We stayed in two types of villas: lagoon and ocean water. They are completely identical and face each other. The lagoon villa has a huge advantage: it's practically wind-free. All the ocean breeze is absorbed by the ocean villas. The lagoon side offers sunset views, while the ocean villa offers sunrise views. The ocean villas definitely have a better view; from the lagoon, you can see several islands, including the neighboring Hilton. The rooms are very clean and were serviced twice a day. Linens were changed upon request, towels were fresh, and all necessities were provided: slippers, a beach bag, and umbrellas. Upon arrival, we immediately picked up masks, snorkels, and fins for the entire duration of our stay (these are complimentary). By the way, the watersports equipment rental manager speaks Russian and was very helpful and friendly. We brought water shoes with us but never used them. We always snorkeled with fins, and when we just swam from the villa, we couldn't even reach the bottom. They might be useful if you enjoy beach holidays and swimming from the shore, as the ocean entry there is indeed full of corals and shells, but we're just not fans of sand and didn't even go there. The reef is excellent; not quite the Philippines, of course, but there was still plenty to see. On the very first day, we spotted an eagle ray swimming right next to us – this was on the reef near the watersports rental, which I highly recommend for snorkeling as it's far less crowded than the reef near the villas. We wanted to go on an excursion to see nurse sharks, but a 'white flag' (meaning strong winds) was declared for all the days of our stay, so all excursions and even jet skis were canceled. We were very happy with the food. Breakfasts were quite varied, only lacking in meat (cold cuts or sausages; only pork options were available). We mostly had lunch in our villa, and it was delivered quickly. Dinner was also diverse; you definitely won't go hungry. All the staff were incredibly friendly, very open and responsive. Everyone smiled and greeted us, and the main phrase of our trip to the Maldives was “enjoy,” which we heard constantly 🥰 and we certainly did! The only excursion we managed to do was swimming on the floating platform, which we highly recommend. We took the package for $129, which included 4 cocktails + 3 snacks. We expected something like canapés, but they brought out full-sized dishes! It even ended up being cheaper than our usual dinner 😂. We ate our fill and enjoyed a beautiful sunset, and the photos there are amazing! You can stay there as long as you like, there’s no time limit. We recommend going at sunset around 4:30 PM or even 5:00 PM when the sun has already set to avoid the heat. The hotel is stunning, with very well-maintained grounds. The beach was constantly being cleaned, things were being trimmed, transported, and repaired – they were busy working all day long! There are many lizards on the property, and the Maldivian heron was also frequently seen)) The vacation was 10/10, the hotel was 10/10 – simply a perfect paradise! 🩵🌴 We left feeling incredibly grateful ✨

This is a small private island, quiet environment have a long/big beautiful beach, good for walk around and relaxing. room design is comfortable and the staffs are friendly always smiling and greeting every moment. Jetty is a spot to observe the various fish swimming around, in a sunny day can see the fish swimming in the crystal clean water just in front of the beach!…but the wave is not calm always should got swimming skills then you can enjoy the snorkelling in this island.

To experience taking photos with whale sharks, we specifically stayed two days on a local island. We booked with this company and Arena. There were four of us in total. Arena didn't have any triple rooms left, so we could only book two rooms, which were quite basic. The Icom company was okay, but the breakfast was limited. Don't book their activities; the photos won't turn out well.

A hotel with high European standards of service and a pleasant staff. It's located right next to the pier where sharks and rays swim up in the evenings. Since I didn't feel like eating much in the morning, the staff packed me a breakfast in a lunchbox. It's a shame I only stayed there for one day.

The hotel exceeded all expectations. It's an incredibly beautiful, lush, and authentic island, without feeling overly polished or brand new. It felt like being on a deserted island, yet everything was clean, and details like lighting were perfectly highlighted. The nature felt untouched. The ocean was stunningly beautiful. The turquoise water stretched for dozens of meters from the shore (but remember to bring water shoes!). The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. You didn't even have to ask for anything; they proactively offered everything. Towels were changed twice a day, and they constantly checked if we needed anything like water or coffee. The service was so good that you often don't find this level of attentiveness even in much higher-category hotels. Breakfasts were fantastic, with everything you could need: pastries, hash browns, made-to-order omelets, eggs, waffles, and pancakes. There was always a wide selection of fruits – watermelon, papaya, two types of melon, pineapple, passion fruit, bananas, and oranges. Breakfast was truly complete. Dinners were a little less impressive, but that's just my personal preference; I'm not a big fan of everything being in sauces. However, I could always find something to eat. It was my friend's birthday, and at dinner, we were given a specially decorated table, the entire staff congratulated him, and there was a cake with candles. While we were enjoying dinner, our room was decorated with birthday greetings. I was impressed by how well thought out and coordinated their actions were. We also received a free upgrade to a water villa. We spent 4 days in a beach bungalow, room 301, and then 3 days in a water villa, room 506. There's a separate restaurant for the villas, which we were also able to visit and did. That was a very pleasant bonus. Thank you. Our vacation was unforgettable, and we will definitely return. This is simply an incredible hotel for the price.

This was a cool experience, always wanted to try water villa. The island looks great, it’s connected with two others and brings you more wonderful views. There are lots of water villas there and that’s why it looks even better. Villa is big enough for two persons, got two bathes, one of them outside, it looks beautiful at sunrise. There was a low tide at night and a little island appeared nearby, we took a lil walk there. Then water came up again and we saw little sharks and even stingrays around. Transfer was kinda expensive, 250$ one way with 50% discount and also we expected a golf car to take us to reception on checkout, but in vain. (I had a huge sunburn before) We went to another resort, but regretted about it. For now it was a best stay on Maldives for us. Oh! There’s a YouTube on TV in villa, it was really important for us.

Our stay at Villa Nautica was absolutely amazing from start to finish. It was our first time in the Maldives and everything exceeded expectations. The weather was perfect every day, and the island itself was stunning with crystal-clear water, white sand, and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were the highlight of our stay. Everyone greeted us so warmly and made us feel truly cared for. Dewi and Eyman at the restaurant offered seven-star service — incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional. Yang, our island host, was also outstanding, always making sure everything was perfect and that we had everything we needed. Every team member we met, from the spa to the water sports center, was kind and helpful. We stayed in a two-bedroom water villa, which was spacious, luxurious, and had the most beautiful view of the ocean. Waking up to the sound of the waves each morning felt like a dream. We also went kayaking, which was an unforgettable experience in the clear turquoise lagoon. The food, service, and atmosphere across the resort were all fantastic. The spa treatments were relaxing and of very high quality. Every part of our stay felt peaceful and well cared for. Villa Nautica delivered the perfect Maldives experience. It was the right balance of comfort, beauty, and hospitality, and we would return in a heartbeat.

The room wasn't large, but it could comfortably accommodate two adults and one child. Cleanliness was acceptable. Breakfast wasn't extensive, but thankfully, fruit and staple foods were available. Lunch and dinner were sometimes buffets and sometimes à la carte sets; the taste was decent, and prices were generally around $10. However, the food options were somewhat limited, so it's advisable to bring your own instant noodles and snacks. Local supermarkets sell instant noodles for around $1-$3 a cup, and Coke for $2 a can. The hotel is very close to the beach, and the water was quite clear, although it was a bit rough on the feet when swimming. There were many patches of black seaweed in the water. There were many mosquitoes and flies on the island, both at the hotel and on the beach, so be sure to bring mosquito repellent and sunscreen. The local islanders were generally very kind and friendly, and the hotel staff were also very welcoming and provided excellent service. Overall, I was satisfied.

AAnnalisaKFrom start to finish our experience at the Oblu Sangeli was incredible. It was our first time visiting the Maldives and it was everything we could have wished for and more. We stayed in the water villa and it did not disappoint. The room was beautiful and the access to the lagoon was amazing. It was great for snorkelling and had plenty of corals where we saw baby sharks, manta rays and lots of colourful fish! We embarked on the turtle snorkelling trip and saw many turtles which was wonderful! The buffet was great and we appreciated that they changed the dishes every day so you had a variety to choose from. A huge thanks to Chef Rahul who not only made excellent Indian food for us, but also became a good friend and was always so kind to us. Another big thanks to the waiter, Yathrib, who was so friendly and attentive to us and gave excellent service. This really made our experience even better. We also really enjoyed the fine dining experiences included in the Serenity plan. Both restaurants (just grill & just wok) served delicious food and a nice view of the sunset. A highlight for us was the pool as it was right next to the ocean and the view was incredible. We loved the slide leading into the ocean, that was a vey unique touch for the hotel and lots of fun at the pool party too and recommend you throw a pool party a couple times a week as it was great! We really enjoyed the live entertainment in the evenings and especially loved listening to Dee & Jay singing so beautifully! A highlight for us was definitely the excellent service from the staff. From the first day we could see that they were genuinely nice people and took pride in their job. A special shout out to the Sangs bar staff who were always kind and friendly to us. They made our experience better by just being genuinely nice people and their service was excellent! A big thanks to Pradeep and Lahiru who lead the team and always greeted us with a smile and made us feel at home. A huge thanks to Ibrahim and Madheeh who made us laugh everyday and gave brilliant service. You made our experience even better by just meeting you all. We will definitely return to the hotel in the future as it was the best holiday we've ever had! The Maldives is really paradise on earth! Don't think twice about booking to stay at this hotel because it's perfect!

SSaymore MasaisaiArena Beach was a delight and lovely venue and most of the staff were lovely. The tour/excursion team were very friendly and their excursions were great, affordable and memorable.  I only had a problem with one guy who racially profiled me when I was eating and confronted me if I had paid for the food and asked for my room number. That was disgusting and the hotel should train its staff of racism and micro aggressions. That spoiled my entire holiday.  However, one person’s opinion doesn’t make the entire hotel bad. I will stay at Arena again.

GGuest UserOur stay at this hotel was marred by a series of unfortunate experiences, starting from the moment we arrived. We were wrongly informed at check-in that our room had not been paid for, despite having completed full payment in advance. Rather than verifying the system, the staff member sat by as I anxiously searched my phone for proof. Ultimately, I had to show my credit card statement — something I consider private — just to resolve the matter. Her attitude was unwelcoming, which is especially disappointing in a hospitality setting. After discovering the payment had indeed been made, she gave only a brief and indifferent apology. Following this, my husband contacted the Manager, who offered a complimentary buffet dinner for two as an apology. While we appreciated the gesture, it was overshadowed by another issue: we later received a letter requesting us to check out by 7 a.m. the next day, even though our original arrangement was for a noon departure. After another call to the Manager, he once again apologised and offered a spa session for one person. Though his crisis management was swift, these issues should not have occurred — especially given the premium price we paid for our stay. That said, there were redeeming aspects. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. The room opened directly onto the beach — it felt as though we had arrived at the sea the moment we opened our door. The room was also clean and well-maintained and we appreciated the convenience of having a coffee machine available. In summary, while the scenery and room amenities were wonderful, the service and communication left much to be desired. We hope the management addresses these shortcomings so that future guests can enjoy a truly seamless stay.

GGuest UserThe water house we stayed in had a swimming pool. The room was big and there was a beautiful sea view on the balcony. From the moment we left the airport, the guy who picked us up, the guy on the speedboat, and the guy who sent us off really provided excellent service. When we arrived at the hotel pier, the management staff led the service staff to warmly welcome us on the island. When we left, they waved goodbye at the pier until they disappeared into the vast ocean... My English is not good, but I met Bonan, a girl from Baoji, China, on the island. She enthusiastically and proactively provided us with high-quality service, introduced us to information about the island, took our orders, booked boats, and delivered things to our room over and over again on hot days. When the room cleaner didn't clean for us, change towels, take out the trash, or deliver mineral water, she personally went to the room to serve us... I don't know why the room cleaner didn't serve us. I turned over the sign for room cleaning twice, but found it was turned back when I returned to the room. The room was still not cleaned. I don't know if I didn't tip the night I came. I didn't have change that day, so I went to the front desk to change change after dinner. However, there was no room service from the second to the third night. It was not until I told Bonan that the bathroom trash can was full and the mineral water was finished that Bonan came to the bathroom to watch over it, and then they started cleaning. I chose this hotel because they have a high score of 4.9. To be honest, all the services and details of the hotel are very good, but the behavior of the room boy really makes me feel that he is holding the hotel back and letting the chain down. I hope the hotel will strengthen its management so that all tourists who come to the beautiful Baros Island can return happily...

AAndy pezLovely place and fantastic staff and food. However, on the downside, everything is overpriced, and they do try to up sell everything from food and experiences. We stayed in the water jacuzzi villas at the north of the island and ate in the adult only restaurant, which was fantastic. The food was good and the staff were lovely. Have Ali cook your complete in the morning. He's a real fun guy. On the excursions. The good and the bad and the total miss advertising of them. Sunset Punch Cruise is a joke. The punch is fruit punch, no alcohol. The advert gives you a sense of a party theme trip. It's not, and you just get a glass of punch at the beginning of the trip. Overpriced. Saw dolphins and a nice sunset. Shark Snorkelling disappointing 😞 overpriced and felt like being in an aquarium and not in the wild. Spent an hour on the boat to end up at an abandoned harbour with viewing platforms, and that's where you swim. Hit and miss with sharks. Traditional Dhoni Sailing Boat. Peaceful and lovely experience. 3 staff manned the boat, and we sat there enjoying the peace and quiet and the sun. We were very lucky and saw Sting Ray, Manta Ray, and turtles in our 1 hour experience. Excellent experience. Adventure Snorkelling was far the best experience and worth the money, which is dependent on the number of people doing the experience. Our guide was excellent and well versed in the reefs and wildlife around. A great half day adventure. Overall a get place to visit but expensive and overpriced in its extras.
