The Great Pyramid of Giza
I had a chance to visit the Great Pyramid of Giza early of the month. It was winter in Egypt and the weather is pleasant with sunshine. Lite jacket will do. We booked a Hotel just across the Pyramid complex with a magnificent roof top view of the Pyramids. The entrance fee as of Jan 2023 is 240EGP. We spent about half days exploring the Pyramid and the complex. It was a once in a lifetime of experience. #awesomepic
Honeymoon at the pyramids 🤵🏽♂️👰🏼♀️❤️
#bucketlist #Honeymoon #Pyramids
Wow wow wow what an experience.
The great pyramids of Giza, are in Giza on the outskirts of cairo. They are the most famous pyramids in Egypt,I couldn’t believe I was there. We had an awesome day, we walked for hours, but you can take a horse and cart or camel if you don’t want to walk. Don’t forget to take drinks with you if you go because there are no shops only people selling souvenirs
Great Pyramid of Giza
This place you should visit. It is so beautiful and fantastic. If you would like to see the big view of Pyramid, I recommend you to ride the camel outside of the pyramid because you can see the whole picture. This place suits with people who like to take picture and don’t fear with the camel😅. It is quite adventure. I recommend you to wear sun glasses because you might face with grain of sand from desert. #mytripvlog #egypt #pyramids

The Egyptian Museum in Cairo Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Egyptian Museum | Artifacts are simply placed everywhere
| Artifacts are simply placed everywhere.📝 The Egyptian National Museum is one of the must-visit attractions in Cairo. As the most famous museum in Egypt, it displays countless artifacts spanning from the ancient Egyptian to the Roman period.
📍Address: The museum is located at Liberation Square, Google Maps can navigate directly, there is a parking lot, and the subway can also get there.
📍Tickets: 450 Egyptian pounds, cannot be paid in cash directly, but you can find someone at the entrance to swipe a credit card for you.
📍Time: 9:00-17:00
📝 The Egyptian Museum houses over 120,000 artifacts, which were founded in 1858 by the Frenchman Mariette. The museum is divided into two floors, displaying relics and exhibits from the ancient Egyptian period to the Roman rule era.
1️⃣ The first floor of the museum mainly displays general artifacts from ancient Egypt, divided into three major parts according to chronological order: the New Kingdom, the Middle Kingdom, and the Old Kingdom, spanning from around 1550 to 1069 BC, including statues, tables, sarcophagi, columns, and relief walls.
2️⃣ The second floor has different exhibition rooms, displaying the most precious artifacts, among which the treasures of the museum such as Tutankhamun's golden mask, anthropoid gold coffins, and the golden throne are located here.
📝 The interior of the museum is not large, but the sheer number of artifacts on display is breathtaking, with many artifacts simply placed around without any protective measures.
📝 If you are interested in Egyptian culture, you can spend a good half day here. Ordinary visitors should be able to tour in about 3 hours. If you want to see more details, you can watch some documentaries in advance as homework, and hire a guide, although the quality of the guides is entirely a matter of luck.
📝 Another thing to note is that the mummies in the Egyptian Museum have all been moved to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, so if you want to see the mummies, you'll have to visit another museum.

Egyptian Pyramids | At this moment, history is right before my eyes
| At this moment, history is right before my eyes.
In the 9th century, when Arabs entered Egypt, they said, 'Men fear time, yet time fears the pyramids.' The Great Pyramid of Khufu was once the tallest structure in the world, standing tall over humanity for four thousand years.
One should visit the Egyptian pyramids at least once in a lifetime, for they are grander and more mysterious than any textbook could convey.
📍Entrance hours: 8:00-16:30, no entry after 16:00. Starting from the East Gate, you will face the Sphinx and the pyramids right away.
Ticket price: 540 EGP. Payment must be made by card, cash is not accepted! Bring your visa card! It is recommended to go as early as possible, as it is generally not too hot in the morning and you can avoid large crowds.
🔹Ignore those who greet you, offer camel rides, or to take photos for you. This can prevent any unnecessary interactions and help, as there are countless scammers in Egypt, with half of them in the pyramid area.
🔸If you want to ride a camel or a horse-drawn carriage, make sure to ask for the price clearly, confirm whether it's for a one-way or round trip, and to avoid mid-way price increases, pay at the end. For reference, the three of us paid a total of 360 Egyptian pounds for a round trip to the viewing point by horse-drawn carriage.
🔹It gets very hot starting from noon, so make sure to bring sun protection and drinking water for hydration.
🔹It is suggested to wear a post-apocalyptic style or brightly colored flowing long dress for the perfect atmosphere.
📸Photo spots:
1️⃣Front view of the Sphinx + pyramid scene, located not far from the entrance of the East Gate.
2️⃣Background of the Great Pyramid, to the right-hand side of the Sphinx, where there are some piles of stones. It's great for taking photos whether you're standing or sitting.
3️⃣Panoramic View of the Pyramids: 'Nine pyramids in a row' viewing point, which is quite a walk. You can ride a camel or a horse-drawn carriage to get there~
Egypt is six hours ahead of China. After a 12-hour flight, the plane landed at Cairo airport. Just after landing, we rushed to the highlight of our Egypt trip today - the "Khufu Pyramid", located 16 kilometers south of Cairo. It is undoubtedly the tallest and largest building in the world. The three pyramids seen on site have stood on the Giza plateau for more than 4,500 years. They were built by three generations of Pharaoh Khufu's family in the Fourth Dynasty of ancient Egypt, and are commonly known as the "Father, Son, and Grandson Pyramids".
The Great Pyramid of Giza is 146 meters high and is made up of approximately 2.3 million stone blocks. The outer layer consists of around 115,000 blocks, each weighing an average of 2.5 tons, about the size of a small car. It took approximately 30 years to build the Great Pyramid of Giza. It is currently the top of the list of the Seven Wonders of the World and the only one that remains.
THE GIZA PYRAMIDS 🇪🇬😍😍😍
#giza #pyramids #hotel #cairo
The complex is located on the edge of the Western Desert, about 9 kilometers (5.6 miles) west of the Nile River in the city of Giza, and about 13 kilometers (8 miles) southwest of downtown Cairo. The site (along with the neighboring city of Memphis) was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979.
The Great Pyramid and the Pyramid of Khafre are among the largest pyramids built in ancient Egypt, and they were historically popular as symbols of ancient Egypt in the Western imagination. They became famous in Hellenistic times, when the Great Pyramid was included by the Greek poet Antipater as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. They are by far the oldest and only surviving ancient wonders of the world.
And the pyramids, according to one of the hypotheses, are royal tombs, each of which bears the name of the king who built it and was buried in it. Then it developed to take the form of a step pyramid by the engineer Imhotep, the minister of the pharaoh and King Djoser in the Third Dynasty. This was followed by two attempts by King Senefru, founder of the Fourth Dynasty, to build a complete hierarchical form. However, the backs of the two pyramids are not correct in shape, and they are located in Dahshur. One of them has a flattened base, and the other has a smaller shape, about half the size of the first. The engineer, Hemayuno, the architect of King Khufu, was able to achieve the ideal pyramidal shape, and he built the pyramid of Khufu in Giza on an area of 13 acres, and the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure followed.

Karnak Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Egypt is a nation filled with open-air museums everywhere!
Driving 500 kilometers from Cairo, you reach Luxor, where the attractions are divided between the East and West Banks. A must-experience is the hot air balloon ride at dawn, which only cost us a little over 400 RMB for two people, making it the cheapest hot air balloon ride in the world. After landing on the West Bank, you can continue to visit the Temple of Habu and the Valley of the Kings, which are very conveniently located. The main attractions on the East Bank are the Karnak Temple and the Luxor Temple. The Karnak Temple is the prototype for temple parkour, remember to go in the morning, or else the huge columns will quickly be out of light; the Luxor Temple can be visited in the afternoon and evening, as it is lit up at night, creating a mysterious atmosphere.
West Bank: Temple of Habu, Valley of the Kings
East Bank: Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple

Beautiful Karnak Temple in Egypt
It’s worth to book a trip to Egypt only to visit the Karnak temple. Its so awesome!!! It was great to be able to discover the history from this place. 👏🏻 Many pharaohs have been here. The entrance fee is less than 5 dollars and you have some restaurants near to it. Don’t forget to take a water bottle cause it can be very hot inside. You will forever remember the Temple of Karnak!

Must visit Ancient Egyptian Temple
#2023TravelWish #vianasjourney #awesomepic
We visited Luxor temple as part of our Nile cruise trip. The Luxor temple is one of the main attractions of Luxor and is located in the middle of Luxor on the east bank of the Nile. The impressive statues and structures definitely makes this place worthwhile to visit. I would recommend visiting the temple during the evening, as the temperature cools down a bit. The lightened up statues during the evening paint an beautiful image. From the Luxor temple it is also possible to take a close look at the Avenue of Sphinxes that connects Luxor temple with the Karnak temple complex.

Luxor temple
Luxor temple is located at Luxor city. There are many people to visit this temple (field trip for children, tourists and local people). There are many students who study about drawing and they are painting the structure of the temple. Their drawings are so beautiful and creative. At the entrance, you can see many birds (I guess they are pigeons) over there,so you can take picture while birds are flying. #mytripvlog #egypt #luxor
