That evening, our son accidentally rode the motorcycle onto the roadside sand, the wheels slipped, and he damaged the motorcycle, scraping off several patches of paint and leaving scratches. The next morning, the owner kept the damaged motorcycle for repairs, and by noon, it was as good as new. The owner showed us the repair bill, which was about 90 yuan, and we were surprised at how cheap it was! By 9 p.m., we returned the motorcycle, and I handed over 90 yuan for the rental fee (2 motorcycles, 45×2=90 yuan), and the owner was stunned, quickly stuffing the money back, saying, 'No, No,/=$……' followed by a string of Vietnamese that we didn't understand at all. We had no choice but to give him 30 yuan to thank him for his honesty! When we were leaving, the owner also gave us a bunch of fruit. To this day, we still don't understand how he calculated the bill. Did he not charge us at all for the repairs?
