Haode Temple is a great place to shoot pictures with a kimono. However, there aren't many kimono stores near Haode Temple. I was able to find only one (Akasuka Love Kimono). Once you're done visiting Akasuka, you can visit Haode - the birthplace of the lucky cat. It is a quiet zone, with very less tourists disturbing the peace. The legend here is that Igami Hiroshi followed a cat from the temple to the shelter and fell at peace after listening to the discourse from the monk. Since then, the temple has become the Bodhi Temple of the Jingyi's. The Temple of the Cat was built and dedicated to the singing cat. There are more than a thousand cats beside the palace and they're all very cute. You can wear a kimono and take the short walk from Akasuka to see the cats and enjoy the peace of the area.
