Zugspitze, Germany’s highest mountain
#spooktaculartrip #tripblazers #fallingforfall Atlast, we arrived at Zugspitze! We wanted to be here on the top a day before but we did not make because the day‘s limit was already reached, so they no longer sold any tickets. The online booking was not possible and what we did was we bought our tickets at the counter for the next day.
Zugspitze can be reached by a special train that starts at Garmisch-Partenkirchen Zugspitze station. The ticket costed 63€ per person and it was really worth it!
On the summit, you can find restaurants and cafes. There is also a museum that showed the history of Zugspitze, its train, the station, the people who built the station and those who were behind the scenes.
While on the summit, we clearly saw the beautiful Eibsee below us and it was stunning 🤩
Zugspitze is a very popular destination of germans and other nationals. The view on the top is breathtaking from in each season.
It was a great experience going up there on the top and everything was really worth the price ❤️

Zugspitze - the highest mountain in Germany
Cable cars run from Eibsee to the top of Zugspitze for panoramic views. There is a restaurant at the top with great food and stunning views. We were planning to head there for lunch to soak in all the views but unfortunately cable car tickets were sold out for the day (and the whole week). What a bummer. We were told to pre-book our tickets online ahead as they sell out fast, especially in winter.
Ended up playing snow at the foot of the mountain near the car park. Some families brought their sledge there to play and it looked like lots of fun.

The Zugspitze, at an altitude of 2,962 meters, belongs to the Alps and is the highest mountain in Germany.
This is near the Austrian border. There are two very rare glaciers in the mountains. It is a very famous glacier ski resort in Germany and the highest ski resort in winter.
Generally, you need to drive to the Ebou Lake cable car station and take the cable car to the top of the mountain. It takes about 2 hours for the cable car to line up. It is skiing on the mountain and it is very convenient to rent ski equipment.
Come here to experience the fun of skiing.
The spring and summer scenery here is also very good. There are mountains and lakes with grass and the photos are beautiful.

Germany highest mountain Zigspitze
Zugspitze is the highest peak of the Wetterstein Mountains and the highest mountain in Germany. It lies south of the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Bavaria, and the Austria–Germany border is on its western summit. South of the mountain is the Zugspitzplatt, a high karst plateau with numerous caves.
I took the cable car not very cheap , for the cable car ride is around 90 euro two ways trip.Regardless, it's still worth it. The view from Germany's highest mountain (2,962 m / 9,718 ft above sea level; and the highest peak of the Wetterstein Mountains) is impressive.
The journey to this zigspitze is really nice and worth to go there without any hesitation for me.

Germany's highest peak - Zugspitze.
Germany's highest peak includes the highest ski resort, highest post office, highest church, and highest restaurant.
The name Zugspitze comes from "Spitze" meaning peak and "Zug" meaning avalanche, named after the frequent avalanches on the steep north side of the mountain.
Located at the border between Germany and Austria, you can directly cross the border. As both are Schengen areas, there are no passport checkpoints.
The golden cross on the summit, which is the highest point of Zugspitze, symbolizes the independence and freedom of Bavaria.
The cable car 🚠 of Germany's highest peak, Zugspitze, has three world records: the longest cable car at 3212 meters, the highest vertical drop at 1945 meters, and the tallest steel cable car tower at 127 meters. One cannot help but admire Germany's craftsmanship.
From the summit of Zugspitze, you can see over 200 peaks of the Alps in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy.
German countryside characteristic cottage.
In the German-style wooden house under the Chug Feng snow mountain, quiet and elegant, with a unique rural style. Enjoy a peaceful and elegant life here.
Germany has always been known for its technological leadership and rigorous work. Whether it is electronic technology or industrial construction, it outperforms others, not to mention building houses! Moreover, people who have been to Germany must feel that the scenery in the German countryside is exceptionally beautiful, and the small houses are also very beautiful.
Beautiful day at the Zugspitze!
We took the cogwheel train to (almost) the summit. Finished to the top on a cable car. The view cannot be described in words. You can see five countries from the southern view. I took pics and looked up the peaks at the hotel. Finished the journey by taking the big cable car all the way down near Eibsee. An amazing day.
Around Zugspitze!
Superb and amazing day trip when you are in Munich!
travelling there though a little troublesome with changes, it is totally worth the visit! the highest point in Munich, the Zugspitze!
beautiful views of mountains, lakes, covered in white pristine snow, enjoying German food on top of the alps at over 2,500m up! definitely will come back here again sometime!

Zugspitze the highest mountain in Germany which is accessible by train either from Garmisch-Partenkirchen or from Tirol, Austria is a beauty that one can’t deny but to admire it’s amazing charms.
To visit Zugspitze, it’s better to buy the ticket online ahead of time to avoid the queue.
We took the train at Garmisch-Partenkirchen Zugspitze station and it was very hassle free!
We went there early to avoid the crowd and as we reached the top, we were able to enjoy the view since only a few people were still there.
It was a nice sight looking at the snow on the top of the mountain. It seems like powdered sugar was sprinkled on it.
The view of the mountain inside the cafe where we had our snack break was amazing.
The cafe itself was very cozy and since there were only us during that time, it made the place cozier and felt more exclusive for me and my family.
A visit to the highest mountain in Germany, Zugspitze, was a wonderful experience.

To reach Zugspitze, it is more convenient to start at Garmisch-Partenkirchen Zugspitze station. You can leave your car at the station for a 5€ parking fee for the whole day.
The ticket cost 63€ which include the train ride up to the summit. The price is worth it!
Going up to Zugspitze from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, I was taking these pictures while we were on the train (Zahnradbahn) on our way to Zugspitze.
The view were so beautiful that reminded me of some movie. It was so calming looking at the scenery outside the window.
The Lake Eibsee caught my attention! The turquoise water was so inviting! The lake looked like a priceless jewel that was inside a jewelry box!
The train drive up was an ultimate experience. The nature was amazingly beautiful! When we reached the top, we were met by a breathtaking view and nature! I was speechless and just enjoyed the beauty that only the nature can give!
Visiting Zugspitze was on the most unforgettable experience that I had this year!

During our visit to Zugspitze, one of the things that captured my interest was their museum, entrance was free as it was already included in our train tickets.
It was nice looking at the old pictures and memorabilias and see the then and now of Zugspitze.
The captions and the pictures as well as the story were very helpful for the first time visitors to know how the rail tracks was built and how did the train operated before during that time.
The pictures were captured well and were very realistic. It was amazing to see how rustic the way the construction standards before compared to now.
Looking at the construction workers, the engineers their sleeping cabins, the train staff and the tourists, one can‘t help but appreciate how they worked hard, for us to enjoy such amazing nature and view.
Zugspitze is a wonderful place to visit ❤️

Traveling to Germany can't be done with three must-see attractions: Swan Castle, Kings Lake and Zugspitze (German: ZUGSPITZE). Today we are talking about this Zugspitze.
Zuger Peak Although there is no height of Mount Everest, the altitude is only 2962 meters, but as the first peak in Germany, it is still a holy place that many people yearn for conquest. The Zugspitze belongs to the Alps, the main peak is located near the Bavarian border between Germany and Austria, and there are two glaciers in the mountains that are extremely rare in Germany.
Located 350 meters below the Zugspitze, the flat plateau on the valley is the highest ski resort in Germany and the only glacier ski resort.
About Zugspitze, many mysterious and touching stories have been circulated among the German people.
Because the mountains are steep, the clouds are haunting, the terrain is complex, and no one dares to explore for a long period of time. People say that Zugspitze does not welcome people to explore the mountains. People who want to conquer it have never gone back.
The Alps are located in the south-central Europe, covering northern Italy, southeastern France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, southern Germany and Slovenia. Not going to the Alps is equivalent to not coming to Europe. I recently chatted with friends about the Jungfrau in Switzerland. My friend said that the Swiss Alps are the tallest version of the West Sichuan. Its a bit hot to say. The so-called high version is not to say that the scenery here is better and more worthwhile (beauty is not different from person to person), we say that the taller is only relative consumption. The Zugspitze is the highest mountain in the German Alps, with a focus on being close to Fissen. There are two roads to the top of the mountain, one for the train and one for the cable car. This train has a special spicy, called a small train. There is no pressure on the upper slope and it is guaranteed not to fall. When I got to the top of the mountain, I saw a little blue sky, and there was a little sunshine on the horizon. However, the blue sky behind is becoming scarcer, and the sunset in the corner is still strong. With a telephoto, you can also take a few details, the sunrise is infinitely magnified, infinitely beautiful. Figure 3 This golden shelf is the highest peak. It can be taken up. It seems to be repairing or doing it that day? Anyway, the road is sealed. Figure 2 is a burning cloud, and this luck is also very good.
