The best hotel in all of Australia. The staff is very helpful and kind, ready to solve our problems. The room was very clean, far above the standards of all other hotels in Australia. The breakfast was quite varied and averagely good. A note of merit to this hotel for the presence of the laundry, with washing machine and dryer, very useful for travelers. The only hotel I would return to in Australia, I recommend it.

Great location when visiting Kakadu National Park. Original architectural design. However, room and dining prices are inflated to due the remote location (tight supply and high demand of lodging options). Pool is small but does the job to help cool off.

The cabins are excellent, spacious with a vaulted wooden ceiling, comfy bed, good shower and spotlessly clean. It is quiet and 20-25 mins walk from the centre of Alice Springs. The reception staff were very helpful and there is a locked room for luggage storage.

Quite dirty structure, even in rooms (which are quite large) (Room and motel was quite dirty) Well breakfast included (Good breakfast) Motel comfortable in Katherine to reach the nearby places (but the country is objectively very small). (Good position, but Katherine is quite small)

First of all, it was very clean because it was renewed. Nevertheless, due to the local characteristics of Darwin, I saw insects in the room on the first day, but when I told the office, I cleaned them and put them in the room. Locationally, there was a mindil sunset market within walking distance and cbd was not too far away. Although I inquired about the check-out rate due to the flight, I was disappointed about the part that cost $30 an hour, but other than that, it was generally a satisfactory visit.

The air-conditioning temperature in the room is fixed and the temperature cannot be adjusted. Only a piece of cloth is provided as a quilt. It is quite cold. There is a blanket but it is a bit old. Finally, we decided to buy a cheap blanket in the supermarket. The music is very late at 11 o'clock in the evening, so be mentally prepared. There is no remote control for the TV in the room.

Was expecting more given the price we paid, apparently already considered low season. The pool lagoon was disappointing and expected higher standards, more staff and cleanliness. Hotel restaurant food expensive unless ******** and apparently would have great discount. Room service was good and value for money. Expected small amenities like free bottled water to be more generous given the heat. Apparently just 2 bottles per check in although we stayed 2 nights . Bathroom and toiletries reasonable although bathroom door had a drum which made it inconvenient to open as door swung closed automatically ..

GGuest UserI was so lucky to check into the hotel and meet Ms. Nie, the only Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk. She patiently explained the hotel facilities to me. That evening, I was unsure about coming to the front desk because I was attending a Chinese stargazing event, but with her help, I confirmed the pick-up location. The next day, I went to the front desk again because I hadn't successfully booked the 'Field of Stars' exhibition. She patiently listened to me and then helped me contact the relevant company. After several negotiations, she finally helped me resolve the issue. Honestly, my English isn't great, and if it weren't for her, I really don't know what I would have done. But she just said, 'It's my job, no need to be polite.' Additionally, there was a small background light in my room that I couldn't turn off. I contacted the front desk staff the next day, and they immediately came to fix it for me. So, I want to say their service is excellent. The hotel is very affordable. For a simple meal, we ordered pizza, fries, and beer. It was delicious. The next day, we went to another hotel, and the food really wasn't as good as theirs. We ate in a temporary shed set up outdoors. In the evening, there was also a singing performance, which was very lively. There's also a BBQ area where you buy your food and grill it yourself. Everyone grilling their own meat with music playing was very lively. Although the exterior of the hotel rooms is quite ordinary, the interior facilities are not old, and it feels very cozy to stay in, with no strange odors. The two single beds in the standard room are very large, making it comfortable to sleep alone. The hotel breakfast is $49 per person, with a good variety of fruits, yogurt, bread, and fried eggs. I genuinely feel that such a breakfast in Australia is quite good. We stayed for two nights, and the room was tidied very cleanly when we returned. Each room has its own air conditioning, so you can turn it on when you go out for stargazing at night and come back to a warm room. The hotel also has its own small observation deck, which is said to be the closest to Uluru in the resort. It's only a 5-minute walk from the room door. Overall, I feel this hotel offers good value for money.

228Rahil08We really enjoyed our family stay at Desert Gardens Hotel in Uluru. The location within the Ayers Rock Resort is excellent and makes it very easy to explore the area. Our room was large, comfortable, and offered plenty of space for a family of four, which we really appreciated after long days out. The hotel also offers tours, making planning straightforward and convenient. A complimentary shuttle bus runs to the marketplace, which is a great touch and very practical. The nearby marketplace is a real highlight. There’s a supermarket with everything you might need if you don’t want to eat at the hotel all the time, as well as several tour providers where you can easily book individual or group tours. It was also lovely to see Indigenous artists selling their paintings and crafts, which added to the overall experience. Overall, Desert Gardens Hotel is a very comfortable, well-located choice for families visiting Uluru, and we would happily stay there again.

GGuest UserPerfect hotel location for our needs since it is very close to the airport and the Marrara sport complex (10-15 min walk) in which our event took place. What we love most: very clean hotel room, convenient park ing spot right in front of our unit at an extra cost, great pool facility and some restaurant and coffee shop option on site. The room we booked was really spacious. We had a very pleasant stay.

GGuest UserSuperior location. The hotel has good facilities. In front of the gate is the river. It's safe, too. I do a lot of running in the morning. Next to it is a new shopping mall. Later, I found that there are many noodles to eat. You can also see the scenery outside. Very good.

GGuest UserGreat place for an authentic outback experience. Well done to the team for offering very reasonable pricing on food and drinks. The common facilities were well maintained and in good condition. Our main concerns were the lack of an emergency contact number and the air conditioning in Cabins 24 and 25, which was not functioning effectively at the start of summer. Initially, we assumed this was due to daytime heat; however, the cabins never cooled properly, even later in the day. If the issue was related to the cabin location, providing pedestal or portable fans would have helped. What was confusing is that the same air-conditioning units installed across the resort appeared to work well in other areas, such as the toilets near the bar. Overall, it’s a great property, but addressing these issues would significantly improve guest comfort .

GGuest UserEverything about Club Tropical Resort in the month of February, where the weather is consistently warm, humid and wet, is a complete joy to a visitor from Melbourne. The rooms are clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the ability to entertain friends and family are outstanding. The pool is the centerpiece of the whole site, where I spent many hours during my 7 day stay. For anyone who thinks it is too far away from the city of Darwin, there are supermarkets and the entire Casuarina shopping centre within a 5 minute drive. If it is wilderness you want, the resort is right next to that too with Buffalo Creek and Lee Point only a walk away. Parking is great, the restaurant was fantastic, and I am struggling to find anything wrong with my stay. But there was one thing - it was not long enough!
