Very close to the airport, so getting a taxi was super convenient. The hotel staff were really warm and attentive, with someone on duty 24/7. The room was clean and comfortable, the heating worked great, and the bathroom was bright and spacious. The bedding was soft and comfy too. Breakfast was decent enough; can't be too picky when you're traveling for work.

This was absolutely amazing experience. I’ve got a free room upgrade, it was incredible. The hotel room cleanliness was extraordinary, super clean and finally I had a great night sleep. The mattress is extra firm and super comfy, keep your spine nice and straight. I really enjoyed my stay here. Another great thing about the location is the location.

This hotel is right in the city center, just a 5-minute walk from New York Cafe. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, with easy access to both the subway and buses. Overall, it offers fantastic value for money. The room was clean, tidy, and had high ceilings, which made it feel spacious and not at all cramped. The only minor downside was the pillows, which weren't very comfortable.

Hotel was OK. I booked bigger room and was nice. Breakfast also OK. I read some negative reviews and is true, the bathroom need update. Also environment in hotel have some limits, eq. dirty elevator. Many info what is prohibited is doing unfriendly feeling. Eq. they gave me sign paper, where was indicated ”food from restaurant is prohibited to bring to the room - if explored, will be fined by 8 EUR”. Later I understand - the meaning was food from breakfast, but statement like that can make misunderstanding - could be better explained. Generally I liked hotel, also was walkable to city center.

We stayed for five nights and welcomed the New Year there. Park Plaza Budapest has a perfect location with an amazing view of the Parliament, Chain Bridge, and the Danube River. It’s very accessible by tram and bus and close to major attractions and tourist spots, including the monastery, church, and Fisherman’s Bastion. The room was huge and very comfortable. The downside is that they should check the shower heads and toilet light bulbs before guests arrive — ours broke during use, though they were fixed and replaced quickly. Housekeeping mainly took out the trash but did not change the beddings, and there were stains on the carpet. We were expecting grand fireworks for New Year’s, but they were not as impressive as expected. Overall, it was a nice stay, and I was pleasantly surprised that they even included white rice at breakfast.

Continental Comfort in Budapest 🏩 For €260 a night 💶, the “junior suite” delivers big on comfort — a bed you’ll melt into 🛏️, pillows with personality, and a breakfast omelette 🍳 that could win awards. The staff are genuinely lovely 😊, and the building itself has a historic glass dome that makes you stop and stare. Not everything hit the mark — the “wellness centre” (a sauna that’s more lukewarm hug than steamy escape 🧖♂️) and toiletries that smell like disappointment. Luxury touches didn’t quite sparkle, yet the space was clean, practical, and restful 😌. Upon arrival at night, the hotel appeared abandoned due to the lack of lighting. We later learned there was a power outage; however, the receptionist was accommodating and helpful. She offered us drinks and snacks while we waited to check in. After some time, since the power had not yet returned, she kindly arranged a ground-floor room for us. The room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with basic amenities. Overall, it’s one of the better hotel options near Keleti Railway Station—just one bus stop away with a short walk.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent — just a short walk from the station, making it super convenient for travelers. It also offers easy access to various tourist attractions, which made getting around the city hassle-free. The room was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Everything I needed was provided, and I appreciated the attention to detail. The bed was cozy, and I had a restful night’s sleep. Overall, a great place to stay if you're looking for comfort and convenience. I would definitely stay here again!

All round the Corinthia Budapest is a great hotel with good prices and excellent service from very friendly employees throughout the hotel. Excellent spar. Relaxed lounge areas. The bedroom on fifth floor was very nice clean and comfortable. The heating system is set at a high temperature which can become quite uncomfortable in the middle of the night. Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas Sunday brunch with free flowing beverages.  Very tasty food in the restaurant. The only issues we would highlight is the problem with the hotel being so big that the breakfast restaurant gets very crowded with delayed self service causing the food to become cold by time you sit down. This is also due to many guests leaving the Bain Marie food service warmer lids open as they are rushing to get food. Also the coffee is machines are not good quality or require servicing as the coffee was warm or cold once milk or cream was added. This was the case everyday over 5 days we never got a hot coffee.  Hot food and drinks are very important and this was unfortunately the only let down during our stay.  Hence the reason for a lower review score.  Aside from this I would recommend the hotel.

Amazing
EEmilylovesfoodEverything about the hotel was quite reasonable. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, the ingredients were good quality and it tasted nice. However, the service could be improved. We arrived around 7 AM to check-in and drop off our luggage. When we returned to the hotel at 2 PM, the front desk told us we'd have to wait until 3 PM. So, I told them we'd be sitting on the sofa nearby and to let us know when our room was ready. Between 2:30 PM and 3 PM, they continued to check in other guests. After 3 PM, since no one had informed me, I assumed the room wasn't ready. It wasn't until around 3:20 PM, when I went to the front desk to ask, that I discovered the room had been ready for a while, but they simply hadn't told me. The waiting area sofa was less than two meters directly in front of the front desk, and they had been aware of our presence the entire time but never notified us.

栖木This hotel is great if you're just passing through, as it's conveniently located near Keleti train station. However, it's a bit far from the city center. Luckily, Budapest has excellent public transport. We bought a 24-hour pass, so it only took about 20 minutes to get downtown. The room itself was pretty standard and very clean. But I have to mention the noise issue. I specifically chose a room with no view, not facing the busy main street. Yet, the inner courtyard was still noisy, and I particularly disliked the humming sound of machinery. Honestly, car noise would have been preferable. So, if you're sensitive to noise, I highly recommend checking it out beforehand. The front desk strongly recommended adding breakfast, and at 17 euros per person, it wasn't overpriced. It saved us the hassle of finding a restaurant early in the morning, and the variety was excellent. I definitely recommend trying it!

GGuest UserHotel Review: A Cozy Stay in Budapest I recently had the opportunity to stay at a hotel in Budapest, and my experience was quite pleasant. Overall Ambiance: This hotel offers a more home-like environment rather than the traditional professional hotel experience. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, which made it easy to unwind during my stay. Location: While the hotel may appear to be slightly distant from the city center, I found that accessing the main attractions was not an issue. With a variety of convenient transportation options, including trams and the metro, reaching the heart of Budapest was straightforward and manageable. It’s an ideal location for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city while still being easily connected. Service: The receptionist staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I appreciated their attentiveness; they would knock multiple times before entering the room, ensuring guest comfort and privacy. Additionally, the option to store my luggage at the hotel after check-out was a significant advantage, allowing me to explore the city without the burden of my bags. Room Comfort and Amenities: My room was spacious and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed was decent, providing a good night’s sleep. Despite my short one-night stay, I found the accommodations to be more than satisfactory. Dining: The breakfast section offered a variety of options, making it a pleasant way to start the day. I found the selection to be adequate and enjoyable, contributing to a positive overall experience. Conclusion: In summary, if you’re seeking a quiet retreat away from the city’s hectic pace, this hotel in Budapest is a commendable choice. With its cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and accessible location, it provides a comfortable base for both short and extended stays. My experience was quite satisfactory, and I would recommend it to others looking for a relaxed stay in Budapest.

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location right by the Danube River in Buda. It's very close to major attractions like Fisherman's Bastion and Buda Castle, all within a 10-15 minute walk. In the evenings, strolling along the Danube is a must, as the scenery on both banks is absolutely beautiful. There's also a bus stop less than a 5-minute walk away, where you can buy single-use or multi-day travel passes, which is incredibly convenient for independent travelers. The rooms, while not spacious, are clean and well-maintained. However, I wouldn't recommend booking a room with a balcony. The balconies are small, very close to neighboring ones, and lack any partitions, meaning zero privacy. Breakfast was decent, and the Greek yogurt was particularly delicious. Plus, on the ground floor, fruit tea and hot water are available all day, which was a very convenient touch.

GGuest UserThe hotel provides water dispensers with fresh drinking water available daily, which is very convenient and contributes positively to overall comfort. In addition, fresh juices are offered, providing a pleasant and refreshing option throughout the day. It is also worth highlighting that there is a selection of desserts available without added sugar, which is a thoughtful and health-conscious offering. Furthermore, the bus stop is very easily accessible on foot and offers quick and convenient connections to the city center, making it simple to explore the area without the need for a car.

GGuest UserReading the reviews, overall I was expecting worse. The room was a little dated but clean, the bathroom ditto. Clean sheets and towels. On the other hand, the pillows offered are really uncomfortable, the mini bar is not working and the breakfast is very poor and without a sweet proposal: I went on for three days on bread, butter and jam. The staff were friendly enough and the location was excellent for getting to the center by public transport.
