Hotels With Parking in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan

As for cleanliness, the hotel is still new, so the room was very clean. One thing that bothered me was, was it a mistake by the cleaning staff? There were tea bags on the shelf in the room, but there was one tea bag on the shelf above it, which was neatly propped up. Are there two per room...? The location is a bit of a walk from Yanigawa (about an 8-minute walk), but it might be good for multiple people! The location is not complicated, so you can find it easily. However, since it is outside the downtown area, there is nothing around...just another hotel or a ******** parlor! It is a bit dark, so it might be a bit scary for a woman to walk there alone. There is no convenience store nearby, so be careful! The necessary facilities and amenities are available. There were separate pajamas for top and bottom. The bath was a type without a bathtub. In terms of service, I had booked a single non-smoking room, but they upgraded me to a double room because there was a vacancy ^ ^

The location may be inconvenient, but it's a great place for healing purposes. The food is delicious and the view is amazing. There are many stars in the evening, and in the summer, you can enjoy the pool, which seems even better. The hot springs in the hotel are free, and when there aren't many people, I was alone and took a picture of the bath. It felt like a private bath because I could enjoy it alone. The hot springs while looking at the sea were the best. The hot springs are open from 5 AM to 12 AM. I'm so happy that they operate. And most of all, the staff were really kind. I was impressed that they greeted me from the time I arrived at the hotel until I left.

First, we loved the onsen and its services, where we soaked in three pools of different temperatures, sweated in a sauna, then alternately cooled ourselves in cold baths. Second, room services were excellent despite its furnishings seemed to be run down a bit. Third, its location is central to travel most places of interest, which spreads out in Kagoshima Prefecture.

This hotel is located on a hillside, offering views of Sakurajima volcano and a partial sea view. (I stayed for 4 nights, but they gave me a room on the lowest 6th floor. I had hoped to pay more for a better view, but from the 6th floor, you can barely see the sea. I noticed that higher floors with the same room type were occupied by locals, which is something I've encountered at other Japanese hotels as well. I usually stay at one hotel for a minimum of three to four days, sometimes even a week, but it seems I never receive any 'special treatment'. I hope Trip.com can address this.) The hotel's breakfast is incredibly rich and varied, which is rare for hotels of this caliber post-pandemic, and the ingredients are fresh. You don't even need to leave the hotel for anything – there's a convenience store, hot springs, massage services, a flower shop, restaurants, and a free shuttle bus to and from Kagoshima city center. Even taking a taxi to the aquarium or Sengan-en costs less than 2000 yen. Overall, it's a very comfortable, convenient, and versatile place to relax. I would choose this hotel again on my next trip to Kagoshima, even though the floor issue made me a bit unhappy 😠 (All photos are scenes from inside the hotel).

The location was perfect, infront of the hotel there was a tram station and the jr station (kagoshima-chuo) is jus 10min walk away! On top of that, below the hotel there's Ramen shop , lawson and don quijote!

Renovations were taking place in various places, so the sauna section, for example, could not be used.  You only got one bottle of water, only on the first day of three. I asked the maids for a bottle of water, partly because they didn't have to clean my room, but they said only one bottle was included the first day. Because of this, I chose to eat my 3 lunches in restaurants other than the resort's, plus I rented a motorbike elsewhere. It caused a loss of at least Y15,000 for the resort, as lunch costs at least Y3000 times 3 and motorbike at least Y6000. Think what a bottle of water per day could have brought in more profit.

The chicken rice for breakfast was delicious. The sea view is wonderful. There was no drinking water pet in the refrigerator. It would be nice if it was also at the front desk with the menu images for breakfast and dinner.

This is a hot spring where you can enjoy a mud pack. It's fun, so I recommend you try it. However, I think the hot spring will be enough on your way home. There are no amenities such as lotion, so you need to prepare. The rooms in the main building feel like a Showa-era inn. If you are used to convenient hotels, it may be a little inconvenient, such as taking a long time to get hot water in the bathroom (apparently the boiler is far away). I think it will be lacking in many ways for those who want to enjoy something out of the ordinary.

Good location. Great selection of ”grab and go” amenities for your room (humidifyers, dehumidifyers, steamers). TV works well to mirror to. Lots of free parking. Train station nearby but not an issue. Beds were confortable but the pillows not great. Clean and well presented but needs an update

I stayed at the Toyoko Inn near the east exit of Kagoshima-Chuo Station. It's just a 5-6 minute walk from Kagoshima-Chuo Station, so it's close to the station. There's also a Toyoko Inn near the west exit, but this one is cheaper and recommended. There are two elevators, so there's no stress of waiting. There's a convenience store nearby, so shopping is easy. The room is safe, secure, and reliable, just like the Toyoko Inn. There were absolutely no issues. Free coffee was served until midnight.
